Pool was gross. Needed to be cleaned. Downstairs area is nasty. Door was unlocked when we checked in which was an obvious concern

House was very spacious and clean. Everything we needed, even had a game night with the games that were in the house. Perfect place to stay.

Quiet and relaxing

This place has many amenities and it is very peaceful. They do need to fix some small issues and it’s in need of a deep clean in the pantry. It would be good to provide a stocked kitchen of the essentials such as dishwashing soap, paper towels and minor things like measuring cups. We had a large group of people and the amount of toiletries were insufficient. Several things need to be repaired but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great size house close to visiting family

The spacious house had plenty of beds in the right orientation for our family. The view of the water in the canal and the surroundings was beautiful. While the outside of the house could use a good cleaning, the inside was very clean. My grandchildren enjoyed playing with the toys in the kids room.

The kitchen is not well stocked with utensils that can be used on the stove top. The bottom oven doesn’t work properly. There were cobwebs around the house. The downstairs bedroom had a water leak from the ceiling by the light. This left the room unusable until the owner stopped the leak. But the room was musty. Upstairs had no light in the toilet area. The owner did promptly attempt to correct the problems

Much potential, but definitely a let down

We booked this rental because we had a few family friends coming to town for a guys fishing trip. The setup of the house is great. Plenty of beds and plenty of space. That’s really the only positive. The cleanliness of the house could use some major improvement. I spent 2-3 hours cleaning the night before our guests arrived. It was basic things that should not have been missed. Kitchen- By far the nastiest kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental. Loads of bugs in the pantry, crawling in the canisters and in the bags of food, food remnants on the cabinets, oven, counters, and in drawers, garbage disposal did not work and gave off an awful odor, the trash can area smelled, unclean dishes, and not many pots to cook with. Inside- half empty Dr Pepper can on a nightstand, mildew stains on comforter in back bedroom, mold buildup along shower seams, bugs on the bathroom counters and buildup of dust along with a rusted old used set of nail file and clippers, washer and dryer had heavy mold on seals, remotes needed batteries (only one had batteries that worked) and the whole remote situation was insane because none were matched with the correct room and there were 5 extras remotes that went to nothing. Outside- chalk drawings all under the carport, pieces of trash outside, algae build up in the walking path that was very slippery, pieces of broken post lights on the stairs, many uneven boards on the stairs and near the pool, and tiles loose or missing around the pool.
