Read the listing carefully
Not a bad property or stay, but be sure to read the description and unfavorable reviews carefully. We missed that it was a shared entrance that had you walking right into the host's living space and that there was not a separate thermostat. The unit was very clean, well appointed, and a good value. As others have previously stated, there is a drainage issue with the tub. Although there are signs posted in many places throughout the unit, we did not locate the wifi information until the 3rd day we were there and that was purely by accident as it was underneath the bar, which is not a wet bar, but more of a nonfunctional alcove you wouldn't think to enter. The king size bed is very soft and might not be the best option for anyone with back issues. Some people would love it, but others may find these things to be deal breakers.

Great 12-day Stay
We came to Aurora for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time staying here. The unit was clean, well-stocked and felt like home. Debbie was a wonderful host and we will stay here again if the situation arises.

Great place, perfect to explore Denver and more
We stayed here to visit universities and combined that with some skiing. Nice set up of the space; small kitchen, good tabel and spacious rooms. Yes, you are sharing the front door, but you have a great space, just for yourself! Beds were comfortable, especially if you like memory foam mattresses. Groceries are nearby, everything you wish for if you want to explore Denver, Skiing or the universities.

Stay was easy and met our needs
I found the description accurate for the space, everything was easy. We were staying for our daughter to go to three weeks of rehabilitative therapy, so we were just working through that each day and didnt have any issues. Our three year old loved the muffins!

Disappointing. Not a Vrbo.
Our stay at this supposed Vrbo was marred by a few problems. Here are a few pros and cons. Pros: Debbie is a nice person. Cons: - No private access to this "Vrbo". Vrbo properties are supposed to stand on their own with the entire space reserved for the customer. Here you will have to enter through HER front door and go downstairs to the basement. The only "lock" you have to safeguard your property and privacy is a bedroom lock on the basement door that can be easily forced or unlocked with a small screw driver. She deems it acceptable to knock and come use the washer and dryer if necessary so do not expect full privacy at all. - Noise. This was supposed to be a private Vrbo with limited noise in a quiet neighborhood. Instead we were greeted with loud conversation followed by pressure washing and work on the outside deck early on the second day that was present until we left. - Disgusting shower. The shower drain is terrible. Expect to shower in 2-3 inches of your own filth due to "foundation issues". It was a miserable experience for my entire family. No mention of this issue in the property description. - No independent control of thermostat. We had to request an increase in temperature. - You get a small kitchenette, not a full kitchen, so do not expect to store much on site. No full fridge. - Leaving through the front door often meant being detained for minutes to meet, greet, and exchange pleasantries. Not something you expect from a Vrbo.

I am very sorry this guests experience was not a good one. I'd like to explain that I am registered with Expedia, not VRBO, and they 'happen' to use the same VRBO platform. I have very clearly stated in my profile that it is a shared residence. I have fully disclosed all of the item's he has mentioned in my profile as well, so none of it should have come as a surprise. All of my last 7 years of reviews have said my property matches my descriptions and I had a 5 * rating. I do apologize for the fact that I had my back deck power washed and stained, which is not an every day occasion, more like once every 10 years. The power washing only lasted an hour. However, my neighbor also was chopping down his tree during that time but I did not know he would do that ahead of time. Again, my apologies for that noise. Tawfiq also failed to mention that I was out of the country during half of his stay so I wasn't even home to speak with them and do not understand his anger.

I am sorry about that but it is clearly stated in the first line of my profile that I live upstairs and I have fully disclosed this. And I state that we share the entrance and I have a picture showing that your area is downstairs and mine is up. I am sorry you felt that you needed to give me a 4-star because of it.

Lovely stop over
Lovely stop over before my family’s trek further into the mountains. Never easy to pick a location when traveling with a toddler but our stay here was safe and entertaining for the kiddo. Would stay again!

Comfortable downstairs
We stayed at the property for a week and had a comfortable experience. The fridge is small, which is clearly listed, but it worked out well for us. Debbie answered questions very promptly. I would recommend this property.

We were a bit apprehensive about staying at a strangers house for vacation. But, we were pleasantly surprised by the ease of reserving and the check-in processes. Debbie was a peach of a host and all amenities were provided as advertised. And the homemade muffins were the bomb! The property is centrally located to Denver and regional attractions, with great highway access. Highly recommend.

Very nice host and convenient location for our needs. Room to hang out with 2-4 people. Lots of directions left by host but no problem for us. Shower does not drain well so if a concern, may be a negative. Perfectly fine and host makes effort for guests.

Before early flight stay.
Lovely host and home to stay at before an early flight at Denver Airport. She shared toys for my kids to play with and had a backyard for them even though we never made it out to it. Felt kind of like staying at your mom's or grandma's house.

Thoughtful touches
Great location, easy entry and very clean. There were lots of thoughtful touches such as a fan (hello white noise people) in each room, extra linens/towels, a variety of coffee/creamers, and even a little nook that had items that you may have forgotten! The king size bed was extremely comfortable as well. Definitely enjoyed our stay!!

Felt like staying with family
Space was super clean, host even left fruits, muffins, coffee and cocoa to enjoy. Some outlets didn't work, but this was accommodated by strategically placed extension cords and outlet extenders. We always felt safe and it really reminded us of staying at a family's house. The tub drain in the basement was very slow to drain, so water built up while taking a shower, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Water pressure from the shower head was amazing. I was expecting a completely separate entrance to the space, rather than the front door that also leads to the hosts' space, but the basement does have a separate door that locks. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.

What a great little vacay rental
This was such an easy and nice little rental. Close to DTC and an easy ride to the airport. My friends and I were very satisfied with the place. It was easy to get in and out each day and the beds were very comfy to sleep in!

Debbie’s home is in a quiet neighborhood. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed having access to relaxing in the backyard. Good Times in Denver
This was a great property for our lodging needs in the Denver area! The unit is in the lower level of a split level home. It is very spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The proximity to the airport was fantastic for our visit as we arrived late in the day and had to depart very early in the morning. It was centrally located for venues and attractions that we were in town to visit. The property provided all of the amenities we needed for our visit. I would highly recommend Debbie's property.

Wonderful Host and Great Location

My son and I had a great time. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The house is very comfortable with lots of games to keep families entertained. The location is close to I-225 which makes navigating the town really easy.

Not as Expected
The suite of rooms are in the basement of the main house. There is not a separate entrance into the house for guests. You enter into the house from the front door and then walk down a few steps inside to the enclosed basement. Everything else is as described. We just didn't expect to be living in the house with the owner. I'm not sure, but I do not think there is a separate heating/cooling unit for the basement from the rest of the house. Otherwise, the owner worked with us on our schedule, allowing us to check in early. All furniture appears to be comfortable. In all fairness, we only stayed a few hours and then moved to another a location that we thought gave us more privacy. The rooms are fine if you do not have an issue with it being part of the same house as the owner. I just misunderstood when I read about there being a separate entrance.
