But there was more...
Pros: Not too far from downtown activities, easy Uber. Responsive host. Hot tub. Cute decor. Cons (buckle up): Sketchy neighborhood with people walking around drinking out of paper bags. Unsavory vibe. Thistle/weed-filled front yard wasnt too welcoming. Bathroom shower walls covered in mildew (eww). Super small bedrooms with giant beds left no room for luggage (purses, shoes, etc). NO mention made of tenant/house sitter/VRBO'er??? living in shed-like structure in "shared" backyard. Or the "grow house" in the backyard. Or the fact that strangers would be wandering around/occupying the enclosed backyard/patio area. One random dude who came into the backyard one morning and wanted to "check on something" (the grow house, we aren't clueless). Waking up to a beer can by the hot tub (that wasn't ours) followed by a couple who spent hours occupying the lawn furniture in the backyard because "they were locked out" (of the apartment-shed). Boy, talk about weird, disturbing, awkward, and feeling like your privacy and relaxing atmosphere has totally been screwed. Two moms with two young kids and the host made NO mention of this scenario. Nope. No thanks. Never again. The "sell" for us for this property over a hotel was the privacy of the enclosed backyard and the opportunity to enjoy a hot tub with my best friend and the kids, relax, not worry about anything, and be able to lounge around and catch up. What a huge disappointment to find out the reality was far different.

One clean towel for four guests. Hot tub had great heat and vigorous jets, but smelled like a swamp. One cold shower to learn normal hot/cold set-up reversed on handle. Loved back yard, but weather prevented full enjoyment. One shelf in crowded fridge for four guests. Great decor. Lots of games reading for families. Couch smelled of dog, just like my house.

Perfect spot for small group
The house was great for our group of friends that was in town for the weekend. Tucked into a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from downtown, it's close to most things and fairly cheap rides to downtown or Red Rocks. The hot tub is a must-have and we spent almost all our time in it while at the house! The owner was really great about communicating and was very understanding and helpful when we caused a small amount of damage. Great place overall and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect!
Perfect location perfect little place for our time in Denver. It was very centrally located to everything we did over the weekend- Mission Ballroom, Red Rocks, Meow Wolf! We had such a great time and the host is really nice and a great communicator. We definitely would and probably will stay here again!
