Dirty house
My mom stayed at this house because they accepted pets. The rate was extremely high for the pet acceptance. That being said the level of expectation should be one to match what you pay for. This was far from the case. There was pubic hair on the bar of soap left on the shower soap holder, dirt was piled up behind doors, the over was filthy and could not be used with scrubbing it first so that you did have old food smells, the one dish towel left had LARGE holes in it. We called to the owner to let them know. One of the partners come over and gave a half hearted whip down and quick sweep. Then the washing machine broke. it took over a week for the repairman to come. Then he had to order a part. We rented over 6 weeks. This was unacceptable. We finally had to hire a cleaning company out of pocket within days of arrival just to make the stay doable. I am a VRBO Premier host for two properties I own. I would be embarrassed to post this property for guest to stay in. I reached out to VRBO to file a complaint and sent pictures with my statement. The owner refused to refund any of our payment or make any compensation for the cleaning and laundry services we paid for. I would recommend not to stay in the property!
