Place was very comfortable and clean. Old food was left in the freezer and fridge. Overl as good space, clean and very comfortable beds.

Magical Stay in Durango!
Overall, absolutely wonderful place and great host! The property was perfect and the house had everything to help make our stay great. The host responded quickly and helped clarify any questions my group and I had. Wonderful location!

Great Home away from Home
Check-in process was super smooth! The owner was available and communication, exchange of information was effortless. I would recommend this rental to families who have various activities in and around Durango.

Durango getaway
The house, though old, was very clean and roomy enough for our family of 6. The downstairs provided a nice play area for the kids. The kitchen area met all of our needs. We needed to contact the owner and she was easy to reach. I would recommend this property. Durango is a great vacation spot!

It was so hot there!
Be warned. There is no AC there, and it was in the 90s there in July. There were a couple of fans, but just circulated hot air. Couldn't open all the windows because some had no screens, and some screens had holes big enough for insecs to come through. We didn't have access to the closet in the front bedroom. Abby keeps it locked for their personal use. Water pressure in front bedroom bathroom was very low in the shower. After that shower, i used the shower in the middle bathroom. The pingpong table was great! But when we tried to play pool, the table wouldnt keep stable. Comfortable living room, good kitchen area, beds were comfortable. Small dining table. It was a tight squeeze for the 7 of us to eat together.

Thanks for your feedback. We have 2 swapp coolers which provide fresh cool air. We have ceiling fans and only 3 windows don't have screens. We have a scheduled someone to replace the screens. We just bought the house 6 months ago. We are working to make it as comfortable as possible.

Comfy Stay!
What a cute, fun, and spacious home. Met the neighborhood cat we named “Post”! Beds were super comfy! Hostess was kind enough to have to place for early check in and was communicative throughout the entire visit (beforehand) as we requested early check in a few days prior to check in. Safest neighborhood ever! A 7 mile drive to the heart of historic downtown where shops are cute as heck and the community is super friendly. Will stay again.

Durango West
House was very nice. Has lots of room for large family. Only 10 min to downtown. Host Abby is very nice! She went out of her way to bring two cooling fans to us!

The house we stayed in
Pros; This is a great house for large groups. Many bedrooms with entertainment in the basement, ping pong, Foosball, mini pool table, etc. Location to Durango is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There is any kitchen item/tool you could ask for. Great for cooking at home. There was a nice welcome basket for the gueasts and a digital message bored with local imformation which was usefull. Also the contact for the home is very responsive, helpfull and friendly. Cons; You must take into consideration the age of the house and that it is located in Durango Colorado; The water pressure is only good in one upstarirs bathroom. There is no air conditioning (but a swamp cooler located inside the house was provided). There are missing screens on windows preventing the guest from opening more windows. There have been previous guests that did not respect the home and it shows on floors, paint inside the home and window/fence gate operation. Some bedding was stained that should be replaced. Please note: none of the "cons" effected our stay. We had a great time. And I am sure if everything was perfect with the home, it would cost a bit more.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you and your family enjoyed the house. I purchased the house 6 months ago. Previous owner had dogs. That's why the scratches are there. I have made an appointment to get 3 missing windows screens replaced. I purchased new linens. We ask everyone to take there shoes off. Fence will be replaced next month. It's a new house to us. We are working to get the items you listed fixed.

House near Durango
The property was just as presented - good for larger families. The house is very tech savvy with a many tv’s and hi speed WIFI. I was surprised that West Durango has zero retail, not a gas station or convenience store, so everything required a trip into Durango proper.

Durango West is a housing community away from Downtown. It's quiet and relaxing. SPEEDWAY is our closest gad station. Which is about 5 to 6 minutes away. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

best house for a big family! Great entertainment.
Our family of 12 stayed in this house and we never ran out of room. The rooms are perfect sizes, the top floor is beautiful decorated and love the 2 restrooms on top. The basement was the kids favorites, they had enough room to lay down and watch movies or even play board games. The adults played games on the ping pong table etc this house is really perfect as a big family. We loved this house so much, if your looking for a family house this is it it has great ammenties, space and the location was great. 5 min from Hesperus ski resort and only 15 min from town. We enjoyed making breakfasts in the kitchen, it had everything we needed. Even has a smoker pit which we were excited that was provided. The living room and basement both have Tv so we were able to have movie night for the adults and kids at the same. The basement is perfect for movies and play time for the kids. The tiny bottom kitchen is perfect for any extra space you need, or for movie snacks etc. Definitely give this house a 5 star it made our experience to Durango even better having a house that we loved and enjoyed coming back to every night.
