Our usual place to stay in East Glacier. New owners with some minor growing pains, but great hosts. Just remember that the water is backwards or you'll think there's no hot water!

They lost our reservation and we had to drive an hour to Shelby. Which was a blessing, it really looked very sketchy. Very hard to find the name is different it says East Glacier Motel on the building. April at Expedia was great in helping us get another room in Shelby it just made for a long day, but totally worth it to not have to stay there.

This hotel is disgusting, we where given a room key and the room was not cleaned since the last people where in it. Floor was covered in sticky substance, the linens not changed and garbage still in the room. This was after we where taken past broken toilets and discarded furniture laying outside to our room! Do not stay here you will have to sleep in your vehicle. They refused to give us a refund.

Booked this place thinking it can’t be as bad as the reviews say. Manager was hotboxing the lobby, and the experience went way downhill from there. Do not recommend unless riding out a snowstorm and 0 other options are available.

The property name is East Glacier motel and cabins. Check in was ok but the microwave was dirty, tv didn't work and there was no hot water. I wanted to leave after 1 night (booked for 2) but there was no one in the lobby in the morning and the phone number didn't work so I just dropped the key and left.

Room was nice. Staff was friendly & helpful when we checked in but no where to be found in the morning when the sign said they would be open. Coffee pot in the room didn't work. Couldn't get coffee from the office since it wasn't open by 9:30. Name of hotel & expedia name didn't match. We were lucky we asked if they could help us find the hotel!

The inn/motel is under management so going through some understandable transition. The office staff were very helpful but hope they can improve the water heater.

It is called East Glacier Motel -
The hotel is called East Glacier Motel so it was confusing as to whether we were at the correct place. Nowhere at the hotel does it say or is it called Little HiltInns. We stayed in the larger unit with the kitchen and it was fine, there is no wifi and no breakfast included but it served its purpose of a place to sleep between hiking.

Please avoid this place if you can. I booked a stay at this place for 1 night stay during my glacier NP visit through Expedia, and i was running late for check in. Tried to reach out to the property manger multiple time, but the number on file is not even a working number. Finally, when i got to the place there was no one there to check us in and i did not have a working number to call for property manager. Long story short, after waiting for an hour and nobody showed up to check us in, i ended up sleeping in my car for the night. Tried to reach out to Expedia customer service, and they could not even get hold of property manager. I also requested for refund but they said they can not refund it because of the hotel policy. I would recommend staying anywhere else other than this place in the area and save yourself lots of trouble and stress.

Under new ownership and a different name. Had to go ask for more toilet paper & took him 5 minutes to scrounge up a partial roll. No Kleenex. No TV, no Wi-Fi. Deadbolt on room door missing. Very rustic!

We had the 2 bedroom apartment behind the cabins. The amenities for our room were fine. Outside the unit not very clean. Paint brush hanging around and window screen off and laying on veranda. Large Garbage bag (we assumed after cleaning the room from previous guest) was left on the picnic table. We were awoken by the adjacent neighbour at 2am as he was screaming at a Grisly bear who was ripping through the garbage that was outside our window. Garbage was also seen upon checkout next to office outside. Would not recommend this place as we felt it’s not safe. Too much garbage laying around property to invite bears.

No pillow cases , no extra toilet paper , no Kleenex, dirty sink area - coffee ground in small cup - no filter to put them in - not clean - door had broken lock - had to place a chair wedged by door - person - did bring pillow cases - but lock was in pieces so took that with him / would never recommend this place to anyone

Nobody there to check us in - manager came after we waited 30 min in parking lot. No lock on door we had to barricade with luggage, no hot water, no internet, name on property did NOT match name on Expedia. Phone number on listed on Expedia was disconnected - STAY AWAY this property is dangerous.

Do not stay here
If i could give them a 0 I would. When we arrived, there was no one available to check us in. People have been waiting since 4 o’clock and finally someone showed up at 8:30. There was no hot water for showers, the beds had not been changed, sheets were dirty and there was no heat in the unit. I have never had as bad of an experience as I had with this hotel.

I only booked this because there was nothing else. The room seemed nice when I entered, better than the other reviews suggested. There were a number of issues: The WiFi and TV didn't work. WiFi is important since there is almost no cellular service in this area. There was no curtain on the front door or bathroom. There was no hot water. There was a coffee machine, but no coffee or creamer. Their office has very limited hours and they didn't even honor those. On a positive note, the bed was satisfactory and I got a good nights sleep.

This place had the worst customer service. The staff was not responsive at all! The blanket and the sheet are not clean. We ask them to give us a new one. The staff just ignore us. The room is smaller than the picture shows. No wifi is available even they describe they have. The property changed the name and owner a while back ago. Not sure why Expedia still shows an older name.

The entire property was falling apart literally. No TV, no hot water, no breakfast or kitchenette, the manager was missing for hours. We waited and waited for someone to show. The phone is disconnected, finally when someone did theu had no idea what was going on. Claimed the obly available room was a double bed room with no lock on the door. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. The resolution the manager gave was they were in bankruptcy. Just stay away.

It looked like a dump, not as depicted. But no one was even there to check us in. Waited an hour, other guests there waiting for 2 hours before we arrived. Another guest saw someone inside office earlier, but they wouldn't answer door. Phone disconnected. Had to scramble to find other lodging. Told by neighboring motel that this happens routinely. Said guests have reported this to Expedia numerous times. DON'T pick this scam of a motel!!

Horrible experience. The check in time was 3 PM, so we reached there at 5. There was 1 guy sitting in the office when I asked for my room he said with complete unapologetic voice " The room isn't ready, come back at 8" I said what am I supposed to do till 8? what if there is no one here. I have a small baby with me, so we have to spend night in the car. He said "Well life gives you unexpected challenges" I said I paid for the room I should get the room, He said there isn't anything he could do. I said atleast give me the wifi password so that I can look for other options. He said his router is overloaded. Basically asked me to F*** off. Then another lady(who had off day) showed up and said she will get the room ready in sometime since the bedsheets are still in the dryer. So we get a room after 1 hour of waiting. After 10 mins of getting into the room we saw a wildfire running rampant in the back and people are try to put out. We rushed with our baby without our shoes on. and got the out of this horrible location. THIS PROPERTY SHOULD BE DE-LISTED FROM Hotels.com

Expedia overbooked this property. They appear to be working on some remodeling. Screen doors were falling apart. We had to use our own TP since what they provided ran out on the first day. The desk staff are not around very often. Considering the location and the lack of connectivity, the outage of their guest Internet was a major hinderance in planning additional activities in and around Glacier NP. This place could be very cozy with work done on the facilities.

Disgusting! We lived in the back for a two-queen beds room (duplex). In the front besides the door the garbage is building up like a hill and the flies fly everywhere (a dog is playing with the garbage). The first look of the insides seems okay so I didn't leave but had to pack the garbage into garbage bags by myself (otherwise it is intolerable to stay)! When we left after two nights' stay, we just found some cloths left by previous customers under the bed. Horrible! This hotel should be closed immediately before reopen. No WIFI and the plant decorations are all dead. Tens of flies inside the room. Good things: The refrigerator and oven work!!! We also have hot water. The bed cover seems okay and have an extra mattress which is good for us.

This place was a disaster! We checked in Sat 8/27 at 4 pm. Manager said it was his day off. So he kept playing his video game. NOTHING WAS LIKE ANY PHOTO ON THE BOOKING SITE! Run down, dead flowers , and 3 ft high weeds! An older lady and an 8 year old were cleaning rooms by themselves. She tried to check us in but had no idea. Manager finally started helping her. Internet didn’t work at front desk, so he had to use his hot spot. Gave us key for our little cabin. Took wifi password that was on a sign. Also noticed a sign, that due to economy, no longer serving continental breakfast. Go to our cabin, very rundown, not even close to photo on booking site-red and white with cute flowers. Flowers were dead in flower box and cabin not pAinted in a long time. Screen door stapled together. It was raining out so we turned on tv, didn’t work just gray fuzz and said not connected to service. Wifi also did not work. No shower curtain either! Walked back to office, to ask about those 3 problems. Manager again tells me it’s his day off. Tells me the tower for their motel is down so no tv and no wifi. I asked for a discount since all these problems were occurring. He didn’t say a word and gave me number to owner. Tried to call 3 times no answer. Glacier area hotels and motels were very booked due to end of tourist season and we like staying in motels but this was ridiculous! Gave us s key to another cabin , but worse. We turned in keys and told lady we were leaving. Got charged!

Nice size room, and easy checkin considering the past reviews. Clerk was a younger man who was not very personable. Was pleasantly surprised by the room after reading the more recent poor reviews. It was nice, but not ultra clean. Fortunately we only needed one of the beds, since the other was a queen mattress over a full size box spring. Shower that night was great! Butttttt….the shower in the morning was ONLY cold water. Smoke alarm was not there. Other wise, if the water was hot in the morning, and I didn’t have to skip a shower until the next hotel that night, it was a decent stay for the price.

Bei unserer Buchungsbestätigung war eine Küchenzeile aufgeführt, diese war nicht vorhanden, des Weiteren war unser Schloss für das Zimmer nicht abschliessbar. Ein Frühstück sollte laut Buchung auch inbegriffen sein auch dieses war nicht vorhanden. Beim einchecken war nur die Reinigungsperson vorhanden und diese wusste von nichts!
