El hotel está en una zona buenísima. A pocas cuadras de la estación de trenes. Caminando desde allí pude conocer la ciudad vieja y la nueva. La habitación cómoda, buena calefacción, hotel tranquilo.

Cuando uno reserva y paga por un hotel de 4 estrellas espera un hotel de 4 estrellas. La conexión a Internet horrorosa y digo "horrorosa" porque teniendo que trabajar y hacer uso de ella era primordial para mi estancia en Edimburgo. Mi calificación es de cero en ese aspecto: debía irme de la habitación para lograr una media

Estaba bien situado pero necesita una reforma urgente, nos tocó un segundo piso sin ascensor... La calefacción no la vimos en los 5 días q hemos estado. Radiadores había, me imagino q sería calefacción central pero nosotros nos íbamos a las 9 de la mañana y volvíamos a las 9 de la noche y de.calefaccion nada y ducharse así con el frió q hace ya en Edimburgo como q no es plan. Es más poníamos las toallas (q no nos las cambiaron en los 5 días) encima de los radiadores por si encendían la calefacción en algún momento q se secaran por lo menos y nuestra sorpresa por la noche es q seguían mojadas... Juzguen ustedes En España este hotel no tendría más de.2 estrellas

No hacen la cama;re bolean el edredón sin estirar la sábana de abajo ni acomodar almohadas. Los almohadones y cubre pie quedaron donde los dejamos!!! El baño ni repasado. El segundo día se esmeraron con la cama;la dejamos deshecha. El día que llegamos no había jabón y si unas ricas galletitas de cortesía. Después apareció el jabón y nunca más la galletitas....

Hotel en zona tranquila de New Town.
El hotel está a tan sólo 10 o 15 minutos andando de la Ole Town, centro histórico de Edimburgo. El hotel Es un edificio típico de tres alturas con semisotano y sin ascensor. Cómodo y tranquilo. Pedimos una habitación con 4 camas y nos dieron una con 5. Dos armarios, sillones, secadores 3, tabla para la plancha con plancha, y todavía podían haber puesto otras dos camas mas. Enorme. Un cuarto de baño enorme con ducha y una bañera enorme. El desayuno bien pero escaso, una hora después no había nada de bollería. Opciones para celíacos tostada de pan de molde y los fiambres y huevo. Mejor desayunar fuera sale más barato.

Sin lujos pero adecuada relación calidad-precio. Destacaría situación muy cómoda y desayuno continental bastante bueno. Las instalaciones son algo viejas necesitarían una reforma y no tienen ascensor, pero la habitación es suficiente para un viaje corto.

Bastante bien.
Solo una noche ya que iba de paso hacia Inverness pero está bien. No está tan lejos de Princess Street como pensaba y aun siendo una casa antigua, está restaurada y bien amueblada. Would have liked to know the blonde girl´s name serving the breakfast.

Disappointing Hotel
Stayed in Room 309There were a number of issues with the room which I would mainly have described as annoyances but over the short period of time we were in the room they started to add up and culminated with a major issue in that we had no hot water on Saturday morning. We called reception to report this and received a call back to say a couple of boilers had been fau Shabby appearance - stained carpet and large stains on bathroom ceiling. The bedroom Venetian blind was faulty. The TV came on of it’s own accord at three points during the night! In the morning the TV no longer had a signal so we were unable to watch any programs. Lastly, on leaving the hotel the hand sanitiser was empty. This was around 10am, I would have expected, given the current situation, that it would be refilled at the very least first thing in the morning. As you can expect we were extremely disappointed with our stay and hope that you will consider some sort of recompense for having provided us wit( such poor service. 3 night stay in reasonably priced hotel
3 nights in Edinburgh and this was a good hotel. There were restrictions on the cleaning due to covid restrictions but if we needed clean towels etc we just had to ask but they were not allowed to clean the room during our stay. The hotel is located in a good position near the theatres and was only a short 10 min walk into the centre/Princes St. There were some aspects of the hotel that needed attention, ie the water pressure was really poor so you had to leave this running for about 15 mins to get hot water, the door handle fell off, the toilet cistern dripped all night however, this was ok for what we needed it for - good location with a comfy bed. The room and the bathroom were huge and the continental breakfast was well replenished each morning - don't expect a cooked breakfast as some people weren't happy with this but it was clear that it was continental only. I would probably pick a different hotel if staying again in Edinburgh but this was reasonably priced in a good location so nothing to really complain about - overall was happy with our stay.

Poor Stay
Room was changed to an enormous suite which although spacious, was unneeded (4 beds for only myself and my partner) Service on entry and leaving was very poor. Unfriendly staff who were rude and not knowledgable on the hotel and room. Would not stay here again.

We were put in a twin room despite booking a double but maybe that was because we tried to check in half an hour early. One of the twin beds had a terrible mattress. Seemed like the springs had broken. Sagging into the middle.

The staff were lovely but the room could have done with a good clean especially the bathroom the radiator was dripping the floor was filthy in corners there was what should have been fixings on walls but must have broken off and left The room we were in you could hear what sounded like running water must have been pipes from upstairs down the wall the bed was on, we had 2 cups one spoon and one saucer for our 3 day stay there was no batteries in tv remote and no towel change in the 3 days it says 4* but I would not say above 3*

Disappointing
Went for a nice 4* experience in Edinburgh. I came out barely rating the place 3*. The room did not have the basics like a hairdryer. I had to keep going to reception asking for small bits you expect in a room. After following normal protocol of keeping the door handle label to have the room serviced, I did not realise you had to declare to the reception also for the room to be serviced. Considering the cleaners equipment was placed conveniently outside my room (which is on the ground floor and next to reception, in perfect view), making it impossible for them to miss the sign on the door. We had multiple insect within the room and bathroom, which would have died in the bathroom and the bedroom. The breakfast was the biggest let down. They clearly do not have enough staff working to operate a smooth running service, with very minimal option. The poor staff was swept off their feet the whole time with one person having to clean and tidy the whole dinning area. I will not be staying there again.
