We loved Linlithgow and location of the flat. Finding the flat however, required running around that entire apartment complex area looking for the unit number. Parking was available luckily. The flat itself was comfortable to sleep. Bedrooms were nicely decorated. Kitchen amenities were adequate but I would encourage adding paper towelS Or adding more dish towels. At some point in the near future I would suggest replacing stair and hallway carpeting. It is beyond well used. Just a suggestion for added guest satisfaction. Overall it was a great place to stay for several all nights. Kids enjoyed the toys there.

Great views, nice walk along the lake. Taking the train to Edinburgh was easy. A good place to stay while visiting Edinburgh.

We were four friends on a long weekend visiting Edinburgh. Staying out in Linlithgow ended up being a proper highlight. Quaint town with lovely shops, pubs, and eating spots. Particularly loved Aran and Four Marys. Quick and simple to get into the city, to the airport, etc. The property fit all our needs. Keys were easy to find, communication was clear with the property manager, and things were as expected. Tesco just down the road by the train station. The host reached out midway through the stay to check in on us and was appreciative of any feedback we had. Would recommend and would come back ourselves.

The place was good with basic furnishings. Scandi means Ikea. Internet worked well. It was well located in the centre of Linlithgow which is close to Edinburgh and a lovely town. Lovely views of the loch and quiet. We received a couple of detailed, lovely and welcoming automated messages upon booking asking for our arrival and departure times to help with flexible check in or out. We were then very disappointed with the lack of hospitality from the host when we asked about flexible check out and we were met with complete inflexibility - they wouldn’t even consider it. Given our flight out was quite late, this would have had a huge impact and was part of the reason we chose this listing. Communication was quite difficult. We couldn’t find the key to enter the building, and after telling the host multiple times that the key safe was empty they kept sending photos of the key safe and how it looked like, and sending us the code again. It took a while for them to understand that there was actually no key in there and therefore took a while to solve for. Generally, we received very timely but blunt and unwelcoming replies to some simple questions and requests we had. Con’s: bed is queen, not king as stated in listing, only had 2 rolls of TP for an entire week, there were no tea towels, bread knife or food processor in the kitchen, and the shower had no water pressure and had a noisy small heater. We prefer to have hosts who make our stay easier. Don’t recommend.
