La propiedad es bastante luminosa y espaciosa. Tiene 5 habitaciones, dos de las cuales tienen una cama doble y tres tienen una individual. Esto lo hace ideal para un pequeño grupo de amigos (hasta 7) o para una familia ya que hay mucho espacio para descansar.

Nice little place to stay.

We all enjoyed our stay. The stairs up to the apartment are a little hazardous so be careful when carrying luggage. One of our group fell on the worn stairs and skinned up their knee and rolled their ankle.They provide just quilts for the beds and I would have liked a lighter top blanket as I sleep hot.

Our recent stay

The place is spacious and the pictures are a pretty accurate representation. My only complaints would be:1. Only one set of keys. We were a party of 7 and weren’t always together at all times so coordinating access to the apartment upon returns was a hassle. 2. On our final day there was a mouse running from room to room. 3. Heating didn’t work quite right. Directions said there were knobs or valves to assist with regulating the heat at the radiator location beyond the thermostat but more than half of them were missing the knobs with only stems left which we couldn’t turn without tools.

Flat Near the Royal Commonwealth Pool

Really enjoyed this location near the Royal Commonwealth Pool and only a 20 minute walk to "downtown" Edinburgh. The amenities inside the flat are plentiful and nice.The oven did not work properly, we could only get one of the three sections of the oven to work. The hot water knob in the kitchen is broken, but still manageable to be used.Overall, this location is very nice with nice furniture and amentities.

Convenient lodging in Edinburgh

The property was large and well-equipped, with high ceilings and nice architectural details. We used 4 of the 5 bedrooms. Beds were comfortable and 2 baths sufficient. We did not cook in the kitchen aside from warming some food up, but it was fully equipped. Check in and check out were easy. Good communication from management. Only one set of keys, but we used the outdoor key box when our group split up, so they'd be available to the first group to return. Very convenient to the old and new towns of Edinburgh, restaurants, shops, and bus stops. Carpets could use a good deep cleaning, and we were informed two times that owner/management would be in the space during the day. Aside from that, our stay was very pleasant, and we would book here again. Thank you!

Nice, but ...

Nice spacious apartment - pros and cons: reasonable walk (approx 30 mins) from city centre, castle, etc; #### for two nights, so not cheap, but almost half the price of hotels closer to city centre; Linen provided and small body wash, shampoo, conditioner - really needed a second set of body wash for the second night, so either this needs providing or bring your own; We arrived after dark, stairwell from building front door to apartment front door was dark, soaking wet, and strong smell of chlorine - felt like something out of a horror movie! Could definitely do with more lighting in the stairwell and at the apartment front door - used our phones torches to help see the door locks - ultimately no issues, but just a bit off-putting first time in the stairwell - second night, stairwell was dry and no chlorine smell; Main issue was the main bathroom light which was flickering like crazy throughout the stay - no windows, so unless you wanted to use the toilet or shower with a crazy strobe effect going on, you had to use your phone's torch - obviously impossible to shower like that - I called the management company of the property three times - first time to report, second time to send them the requested video, third time end of first evening questioning why it was not fixed - management company answered the calls, but no updates - repair man had visited, but had not fixed the light, and then no further updates - I think this is poor from Joivy, especially for the price paid.

Fijn verblijf. Irritant dat bij aankomst de juiste sleutels er niet waren. Midden in de nacht zelf op zoek naar een hotel voor 8 man inclusief 2 tachtigjarigen. Zal laten weten of alles wordt vergoed.

My family really enjoyed staying at this property. The owner was in touch before the trip, and he was very available for questions. For those taking early flights, there isn't a nearby luggage drop, but the owner offered me a place to store it. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is brand new and well-appointed. There is not a designated dining area, but we mostly ate out or around the table in the sitting room. We had a little trouble with the area rug in the sitting room as it does not seem to want to lay flat. Trash disposal is convenient. There is a playground nearby that my children enjoyed and good restaurants as well as a food market around the corner. Overall, this was a very good home base for our stay in Edinburgh, spacious, convenient, with great charm and just about everything you could need for a large family.
