It's a fantastic Hotel as well as the city. Maybe is on of the best Hotel I ever stayed with EXPEDIA inc. the Grand Elysee at Hamburg. If you are traveling with your family and you are not in a worry, forget Hanover and come to this Old City. Hamburg was almost destroyed at WWII, because was always the alternative target if they could not accomplish the mission. Highly highly recommended, i will insure my words for all who read my comments.

En pleno centro histórico
Precioso hotel. En una plaza con edificios históricos y al lado de tiendas y centro comercial. A unos 10 minutos a pie de la estación. Buen detalle lo del minibar gratis. El spa un poco cortito:sauna, pico de pato frío y piscina. Desayuno buenísimo con zumo natural recién exprimido.

Muy buena ubicación
muy buen hotel, gran ubicación, con estacionamiento y wifi en todo el hotel. por mejorar, pedí habitación cama matrimonial y recibí dos camas de 1 plaza juntas.

DEMASIADO CARO PARA LO QUE ES
La habitación era "superior" ubicada en la zona "antigua" del edificio, aunque reformada, se trata de una habitación antigua con techos altos. El hotel es correcto, pero por su precio esperaba más. Creo que hay que alojarse en las habitaciones "ejecutivas" que están en la parte moderna del edificio. Estaba límpia, pero habían 3 bombillas que estaban fundidas, lo que contribuía al ambiente "lugubre" de la habitación. En la recepción preguntamos por la catedral y nos dieron un plano, aunque no fueron capaces de advertirnos que cerraba en 20 minutos. Nos quedamos a cenar en el hotel, que ofrece un menú un poco caro en comparación con el nivel de precios de la hostelería en Alemania, aunque la cena fue agradable y nos ayudó a valorar más positivamente nuestra estancia. No repetiría. No lo aconsejo.

Hotel Van der Valk, perfecta situación
la situación del hotel es inmejorable, el personal del hotel es correcto y la instalaciones en perfecto estado. la habitación que nos asignaron tienen una preciosa vista hacia la plaza , el único inconveniente es que los dias de mercado desde muy temprano se oyen los ruidos , aunque leves , dle montaje. Hotel muy recomendable.

Es un hotel confortable con habitaciones amplias y un personal muy atento.El desayuno muy bien lleno de detalles y buenas camareras. Como contrapartida la piscina estuvo en algunos momentos fria.Tambien deberian poner algun programa en la tv en español como nuestros hoteles que ponen programas en aleman e ingles. El resto muy bien

I loved the hotel the front desk young lady that checked me in was very helpful, she booked my massage with Valentina who was fabulous and exactly what I needed she helped me find a converter I needed and they the most delicious buffet breakfast with a wonderful staff I asked for crispy bacon and the next 2 mornings that is exactly what I got!!! Pool could have been a bit warmer (though I forgot to ask as I am certain they would have accommodated and they need to get an English speaking news station. Perfect place to stay I look forward to returning soon!

Pricey but good
The location of the hotel can be a bit tricky to find. It faces onto the Market in front of the Rathaus, but the main entrance is down a side street which opens out. Signage should be improved as the doors onto the Markt itself arelocked for the cooler parts of the year. That was the only problem. The location is great, 11 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof and in the (rebuilt) old town. Probably the best hotel in town, certainly it is closer to what you would expect to pay in a big city! But the facilities, location and quietness are worth it. Breakfast is way too expensive if you just want a roll and a coffee, but plenty of choice in town. Recommended.

Vi havde et par gode dage på Van der Valk. I restauranten fredag aften var der en dejlig buffet med rigeligt udvalg. Det eneste minus var en lidt sur servitrice, men de havde også travlt.

Enttäuschendes 4 Sterne Hotel
Unser erstes Zimmer war sehr schön, llerdings war die Matratze defekt und nicht zum Schlafen geeignet. Die Toilette war permanent am Laufen. Das wurde an der Rezeption bekannt gegeben, getan hat sich allerdings nichts. Nach der zweiten Bekanntgabe wurde uns ein Upgradezimmer (Executive) zur Verfügung gestellt. In diesem war die Heizung dermaßen ungünstig, hinter einem schweren. dicken Vorhang angebracht, sodass das Zimmer nicht geheizt werden konnte. Außerdem war die Kaffeemaschine defekt. Alles in allem für ein 4 Sterne absolut enttäuschend. Wir waren in 3 Sterne Hotels schon besser untergebracht.

Excellent choice, wonderful hotel
This is a wonderful find. This hotel surpassed my expectation. We loved the interior, pool and the breakfast was amazing. We will certainly stay again there on our way back from Poland.

Wirklich ein empfehlenswertes Hotel! Es ist mitten auf dem Marktplatz, man kann vor dem Hotel trotzdem gut halten um das Auto auszuladen und dann direkt in die Tiefgarage. Die Lobby ist stilvoll eingerichtet, auch gut für Fotos ;) Die Zimmer sind super sauber, auch sehr schön eingerichtet und unser Balkon hatte eine schöne Aussicht auf verschiedene Kirchtürme. Details wie der beheizte Spiegel im Bad, kleine extra Handtücher für die Hände und zwei große Kissen pro Person im Bett, das war auch sehr bequem und nicht zu weich, haben unser Wochenende sehr positiv abgerundet!

Ikke tidssvarende hotel. Syntes billederne snyder meget. Forventede klart en anden standard til den relativt høje overnatningspris. Bestilte et trippleroom, med forventning om ordentlige sengepladser til børnene også (18 år og 12 år) men der var kun én rigtig seng, samt to små feltsenge…

Preis Leistung Verhältnis passt überhaupt nicht. Die Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber. Das Kinder und Zustellbett kann man den Kindern nicht zu muten, Matratzen nicht sauber und komplett durch gelegen. Im Eingangsbereich kommen einen Mäuse entgegen. Das Frühstück Buffet hat für mich Mallorca Clubhotel Niveau gehabt. Wir mit zwei Kindern im Alter von 10 Jahren und unseren kleinen besonderen Kind im Alter von 3 Jahren. Werden dieses Hotel nicht wieder aufsuchen. Rein optisch auf dem ersten Eindruck wirkt es hochwertig, aber bei allen anderen wo es am Ende darauf ankommt. Ist es eine Enttäuschung für viel Geld.
