Far too overpriced for all the problems the rm has
Bad wifi using old legacy network equipment, toilet smelt so staff attempted to mask the smell with a scent mixer bowl. Jacuzzi didn't have a working heater and the tv was unwatchable due to the poor satellite signal. Food was good for the breakfast buffett and the views of the bay were beautiful however the hotel overcharged me for this room with all the problems its not worth the money, I suggest you bring a wifi adaptor with you and if you are with Globe for Cell service you wont get reception.

Flight was canceled due to typhoon. In fact, all guided tours were mandatory canceled. However, we still cannot get the refund. We had tried to call the hotel after the flight was canceled by phone without success. The line was busy- not sure wether the phone line was down. Therefore, the request could not be made on day1

Nice view of the ocean and overall atmosphere The rooms were on top of hills and some good exercise to burn calories from all the good food consumed. Def need to be in shape to make the stair climb to breakfast which is all the way on top a lengthy hill!

Disappointed
We were very disappointed that there was 0 wifi our entire stay. This is crucial for travelers and there was no reimbursement or discount for something so necessary. The room we got wasn't the room we thought we booked so getting a dark room with only one window which everyone walking by can see in was not cool. The pool is right next to the dining commons and there was tons of construction going on, people constantly working even at 7am trying to enjoy breakfast. We found a few blood stains on our bed spread the first night and was sad about the lack of hot water, absolutely no warm water to shower with.

Great Hotel
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It’s a bit out of El Nido but a trike into town is 150 pesos = 3USD. The staff is very friendly, rooms were nice, and breakfast was yummy. The only complaint we had was there was no warm water.

Great spot for a short stay in PP
Great little spot for a short stay in Puerto Princesa. The service was wonderful and even though there were some glitches with our reservation in terms of the info being sent by the website to the hotel, both the website and the hotel worked together to get us both sorted. They accompanied us to the airport upon our departure and also brought breakfast to the room in the morning.

the view is very nice but it's a climb. You also need to climb down to reach the beach. The room is nice and clean. It is about 10-15 mins to El Nido town. The restaurant is nice with nice view. The happy hour is cheap. Half the food in the restaurant menu is not available. Breakfast is meh.

客室はとても清潔です。温かいシャワーもちゃんと出て安心しました。エアコンもしっかりきいていました。 フロントでツアーを申込んだのですが、当日に初めと話していたことと少し違うことがあり、少しもめましたが、その後出てきた別のスタッフの方がしっかりと対応していただいたので良かったです。朝食もビュッフェ形式で、目の前でシェフがオムレツを作ってくれるサービスがあり美味しかったです。 ホテルの設備としては、部屋の中のwifiが弱く不安定でした。 ホテルの場所はタウンから15分ほどトライセクルでかかってしまいますが、綺麗なビーチが近くにありよかったと思います。

Nice hotel but...
The hotel is nice and well located close to Las Cabanas beach. But it is surrounded by working areas. When the electricity is down, the generator is operated, leading to even more noise. So, if you are looking for a quiet place, forget it. The stairs, to the restaurant or to the higher accommodations, are also to be considered for people with disabilities. The room #101 is lacking of maintenance : leakage on the wall providing moisture inside the room, loose sink and tap, TV not functioning. Overall disappointment considering the price of the room.

Neu gebautes Hotel in Strandnähe
Wir haben relativ kurzfristig gebucht und deswegen nicht viel Auswahl gehabt. Die Zimmer sind an sich komfortabel mit guter Klimaanlage, Fernseher und relativ gutem Bad. Wasser und Strom waren immer ok. Das Ressort wurde neu gebaut und aktuell werden weitere Bungalows gebaut. Generell gibt es viel Baustelle für weitere Ressorts in der Gegend (2018) und es ist deutlich mehr los als es auf Google Maps aussieht, aber es ist ok. Eine Fahrt ins Zentrum El Nidos kostet ca. 3 Euro per Tricycle, die auch gleich um die Ecke auf Kundschaft warten. Was leider auch für ein bisschen Verkehrslärm sorgt, aber durch die gute Klimaanlage kann Nachts ja das Fenster zu bleiben. Zu Fuß sind einige gute Strandbars und -restaurants gut erreichbar. Allerdings geht es steil bergauf vom Strand über die Straße zur Hotellobby und nochmal einige Höhenmeter zu den Zimmern und Restaurant. Das ist relativ anstrengend zu laufen. Wer mit dem Laufen Probleme hat, wird hier definitiv nicht glücklich. In jedem Bungalow gibt es oben ein Zimmer mit schönen Blick steil nach unten aufs Meer. Die Zimmer unten haben in die andere Richtung Blick auf ein Tal mit Meer etwas weiter hinten. Außerdem ist die "Terrasse" dieser unteren Zimmer gleichzeitig der Weg zu den anderen Zimmern und das Restaurant. Ich empfehle deswegen, besser eines der oberen Zimmer zu nehmen für eine Terrasse mit schönen Blick und Privatsphäre.

A Few Things About This Place
First of all, there’s a huge staircase you have to walk up and down everytime you want to go to your room so if you don’t want to/can’t walk up and down, go somewhere else!!! I accidentally booked this place a day earlier than the day I was going to check in and decided to just pay for that night and check in the next day because it was a last min booking and the fees would probably come out the same. Then I got an email saying it was cancelled and I would be charged a whole bunch of other fees... My data connection was super spotty when I was driving up from Puerto Princesa so I couldn’t do anything about it. I was freaking out because I was with friends and it was my responsibility... Luckily when I got there, they took care of it and made sure I wasn’t charged extra. The next day, I heard a man complaining to the front about how there was a infestation in his room and brought dead bugs to the front desk and showed them pictures of how bad it was... That’s not all though... My friends and I met a couple from Vancouver BC and they smelled smoke coming from the room next door. I guess the TV caught fire and could’ve burned that complex down (there are about 5 2-story buildings with 2 rooms upstairs and 2 downstairs). A lot of problems here but besides that... It was okay... Oh yeah, the shower water wasn’t exactly cold but it was pretty warm. You won’t get very hot water but read from other reviews that that was common in El Nido.

Отель достаточно уютный,новый,чистый. Рядом с пляжем Ласкабанас. Персонал приветливый. Единственное - в ресторане очень медленно обслуживают, и выбор блюд невелик. Даже тот что есть зачастую не пополняют. Костгард закрыл море на три дня и мы не смогли выехать на туры по островам. Нл это к отелю нп относится))

すぐ目の前が、Las Cabanas Beachで最高のロケーションです。 スタッフのサービスも良く、ホテル全て階段を登らなくてはならないが、荷物も運んでくれる。 部屋も清潔で、インテリアがオシャレ。 広いテラスが付いていて、テラスからの眺めが最高でした。朝食も付いていて、レストランからの眺めも良かった。 部屋にwifiがあれば、perfect です!

O hotel tem um quarto muito bom porem, tivemos que cancelar nossa estadia porque devido a um problema o hotel estava sem agua. A equipe, muito educada, pediu mil desculpas e ofereceu um galao de agua filtrada para o banho mas optamos pelo check out porque para mim, que tenho cabelo comprido e nao gosto de agua fria, seria impossível. O hotel disponibilizou um transfer para nos levar a outro hotel devido ao ocorrido. Nao recomendo o hotel para pessoas idosas devido a grande escadaria para chegar aos quartos.

great relaxing place
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. We stayed an an Bayview room with private outdoor pool. the view from the room and pool is totally amazing! Bed Is comfortable and room nice and spacious. the staff where all very friendly and helpful. The location is across the road from the nicest beach in the area. It's a short tricycle ride to town. A few points to note, they didn't bother us as we new before hand and you need to remember where you are: the wifi does not work at all, the power goes off between 1000 - 1400, and also we stayed for four nights and by the last day our pool was dirty so would of required to be emptied and cleaned for any further days stay.

No Wifi
As with all reviews, read the good reports along with the bad ones. To give some context I have traveled widely around the world, with this being my 5th trip to the Philippines. My wife is originally Filipina and we are both British. Our trip involved some great 5 star hotels and resorts in Cebu/Boracay and Palawan. The Bay View Resort in my opinion is not a resort, but merely a comfortable set of cliff top suites. Their website states free wifi, but there is none available in the rooms. The wifi in reception and the eating area is extremely limited as it relies upon a mobile wifi repeater. At best the mobile phone signal is available a few minutes per day, so expect NO WIFI at all. I'll repeat for the benefit of the management, there is NO usable WIFI. The hotel should best be marketed as a quite comfortable retreat. No phone signal or wifi can be an advantage. The forest view rooms are ok, if not very over priced. The cliff top suites facing the bay are almost twice the price! Other really good resorts in the Philippines are the same price as this hotel. I would recommend more time in Cebu ( Crimson Resort) or Palawan (Princess Island Garden) or Sabang ( Sheridan). There is massive room for improvement and I suggest the management take some time to visit the resorts listed above and attend to the comments people post. The showers are still very difficult to control and achieve a constant temperature. Breakfast is disappointing.

Comfortable hotel walking distance from beautiful Las Cabanas beach. Hotel is nice but has some flaws. Main complaint is that we asked for a foldout bed and they set it up and it had no mattress. The floor would have been more comfortable. My friend walked down to the lobby later that night for help with it and no one was there but a security guard. She didn't sleep a wink and then they had the nerve to charge us extra for that stupid bed! WIFI was poor, you had to go to the lobby and it was still slow there (and that is quite a walk). Other than that the employees were friendly enough and the view from the rooms can't be beat!

Nice and unique. Need some maintenance but we love the wading pool in the backyard. Walking distance from Marimegmeg Beach a nice long white sand beach.

Bayview er must å bestille. God mat, serviceinnstilt personell. Merker at man er på bygda, og at det er litt mer avslappet. De ansatte har ikke uniformer, og vet ikke heelt hvordan man gir god service. Men de prøver, og gjør det du ønsker. Fin strand rett nedfor hotellet! Minus for litt lang trapp fra resepsjonen og til rommet, og at det er veldig lite varmtvann. Fikk aldri varmtvann i dusjen. Kun WiFi (tregt) i resepsjonen og restaurant.

The place is unfortunately 2 miles away from downtown so if you want to go to the proper where all the restaurants and mini night life are, you have to take a tricycle for P150 but the hotel is great! Very clean, long stairs till you reach your room so good luck if you have heavy luggages but staff will carry it for you. Garden view is glorious! You can see the amazing creation of God as well as the sea view, so win-win for both types of room. Breakfast is good and you will have a fantastic relaxation in this hotel.

Great stay!
They have the best staff I have come across from so many hotels. The staff is warm, courteous, absolutely willing to do best for the guests and make the stay a memorable one. I was on my honeymoon and they ensured that it was worth remembering. The food is nice, the location is great (next to las cabanas) and they have all the facilities to arrange tours in El nido. We also got a complimentary dinner from the owner on one of the nights. The room is spacious and every time we entered our room it was decorated nicely with some handwritten notes by the staff. Things to be careful about: the rooms are located on a hill which you have to climb(72 steps to be precise) and the water is chargeable although we got 50% discount since we were not aware of it. I shall definitely come back here every time I visit El nido.

pleasant overnight stay for next day international flight. there was renovation ongoing so it was a bit noisy during the early hours of the night but in all we managed to get a goodnight sleep.

Beautiful view! Nice comfy spacious room. Up the hill from beach. Spa/pool still under construction. Great breakfast. Overpriced dinner menu and very slow service so did dinner at the local beach restaurants the rest of the stay.

Katastrophe für soviel Geld
Zimmer waren nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Unter und hinter den Betten sowie auf der Fensterbank war alles verdreckt. Ameisen Straßen gingen durch das ganze Zimmer. Auf ansprechen wurde nichts gemacht außer das Problem grob wegzuwischen. Zwei Stunden später wimmelte es wieder vor Ameisen. Wasser, sowie Pflegeprodukte im Bad wurden nie nachgefüllt. Handtücher nicht getauscht. Das Hotel wirbt mit Wlan, kann man vergessen nie eine richtige Verbindung in den öffentlichen Bereichen gehabt. Das Bett war sehr bequem aber Erholung konnte man vergessen. Der Strom fiel ständig aus und wurde unserer Ansicht nach absichtlich oft abgestellt um zu sparen. Dadurch ging in der Nacht jede Std die Klimaanlage aus und man konnte vor Hitze nicht schlafen. Die Preise sind alle überteuert. Uns wurde vom Personal gesagt eine Fahrt mit dem Trike in die Stadt sollte 150 Pesos kosten. Das sind Absprachen mit den Fahrern. man bekommt eine Fahrt nach El Nido auch für einen Bruchteil. Man wird nur übers Ohr gehauen. Wir haben eine Tour übers Hotel gebucht und alles sollte inklusive sein. Zahlung bei Abreise sollten wir auf einmal 400 Peso für eine Umweltsteuer zahlen die auf einmal nicht mehr inbegriffen war. Pure Abzocke. Auf Ansprechen all unsere negativen Erfahrungen wurde immer freundlich gelächelt aber nichts getan. Sehr sehr schlechtes Hotelmanagment da hat absolut keiner Erfahrung mit richtigem Management. Mir ist nicht klar wie dieses Hotel unter diesen schlechten Voraussetzungen existieren kann.

Super Hotel mit wunderschönem Strand
Ein sehr neues Hotel mit super Aussicht, es liegt direkt über einem wunderbaren Strand. Der Pool ist noch nicht ganz fertig, aber wenn es soweit ist hat er eine einzigartige Lage mit Ausblick auf die Bucht von El Nido :-) Das Hotel befindet sich etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum, jedoch an einem schönen Strand mit Restaurants und Bars. Vor dem Hotel stehen zu jeder Tageszeit Tricycle Taxis und man fährt für 3 Euro ins Zentrum. ca. 3 km

Nice stay
I really enjoyed my stay here. Very nice grounds. Restaurant had really good food and it was inexpensive. The only downside is the wifi. A better signal is needed. Oh and maybe some hotter shower water. Other than that though, this place is great.
