The price was great! The condition of the property, not so much. Bathroom door didn't latch. Our room door appeared that someone had to break in, as it was splintered and broken near the door knob....The carpet had "rough" spots. BUT, the price was right! Breakfast was hot and ready. Staff was nice.

The hotel was very unclean he asked if we could use the washer and dryer that was there an available one guy told us we could use it we just had to get our own soap when we use the washing machine it did not work and left soap on her clothes so we re-wash them and we still had soap on her clothes and they did not ring out so we asked the gentleman at the front desk and he said that the washing machine was broken

Breakfast was cold and terrible, its from 7a.m to 10a.m we went at 9 milk was gone, eggs was hard and crumbly. Im certian they wasnt real eggs. Toilet ran all night despite me shaking the handle.

Quality Inn is easy to get to from the interstate and local roads. Easy access to the parking lot. The employees are friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here on my next visit thru Elkhart.

Not what i expected
My whole reason for choosing this hotel was i wanted a swimming pool. The picture on the web sit made it look like a very nice pool. When we get the the pool is dark, with black plastic on the windows. Looked inside, and it was used as a storage room. If there is no pool then dont advertise the there is one, with pictures. Which i had taken a picture of the pool area. Also there was a broken lamp in our room. It was hanging off the pole. If its broken get it out. Also the bathroom door was hard to open, close, and lock. Just seemed like the whole hotel need vacuumed. And fixed up. Breakfast was better than most. As it had waffle, eggs, baggle, Danish, cereal. Every thing else sermed fine. If i was looking for a cheep room just to sleep in, and i wasnt to particular. I guess it would be ok.

Disgusting
Hotel was ABSOLUTELY disgusting - there was a bed bug on our bed and drywall all over the carpet . We left as soon as we saw our room and went over to the Hilton instead. We spoke with hotel before leaving and they told us they could not reimburse us our money because we booked through Hotels.com - we would have to contact them instead. I did this the next morning and they informed me it was actually the hotel who needed to reimburse me. Thus, I called them back and they said they would not reimburse us our money. After a lengthy long distance phone call, they finally agreed that if we sent them the receipt of our hotel we stayed at instead they would reimburse us. I still have yet to hear back from my email or to see the money back in my account. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. We didn’t expect a lot for the price, but Quality Inn’s typically pride themselves on clean, low priced rooms. Poor service and quality of the hotel though is unacceptable for such a franchise.

Would not stay at Quality again
The elevators were out of order, the hallway was very hot, there were repairs "in progress" in the hallways, the room was completely bare, barely any furniture, poor caulking around bath (possibly mold?), there was no hot water at 7 pm, the breakfast being served was a very poor spread.

Bad choice
The hotel was awful. Dirty carpet in the halls, non-smoking room smelled like an old smoking room, electrical outlets not attached to the wall, mold in the refrigerator. I will never stay in another Quality Inn Hotel. The only reason we stayed, is the room was booked as non- refundable.We did not even do the breakfast because the hotel was disgusting

Very disappointed and dissatisfied in this stay!!!
This has been one of our worst stays in a Hotels.com hotel. The room had not been vacuumed. The breakfast that was advertised was nothing you would expect. The food was rubbery and old looking. The bathtub had some pink slimy stuff, we were unable to take a shower. It was not stocked sufficiently. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Actually I will make sure the people I know not to use this place. We feel this please was so bad that we should get a refund!!!

The pool was not open and appears to have been closed since 2007, according to reviews. It was extremely dirty and unkept. It felt scary and unsafe. This hotel should not be part of Choice Privileges or Expedia. We booked another hotel and left within the hour. We did not ask for a refund. Sincerely scared.

Worst night ever
First of all the bathroom was not handicapped all have to step over a tub that is 20 inches high I don't think so there was no place to hang up clothing no hangers no ironing board no iron the bed was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable the room right across the hall was 101 and people were in and out all night and laughing and being very loud in the hallway and I told them so there was a hole in the bathroom wall where the pipes came in that was big enough to look into the utility room and them to look into the bathroom bedspread had blood on it with a little welcome sign covering it didn't realize that until we took the sign off will never stay there again will never recommend it to anyone. The bed was so hard we both had to take a pain pill in the morning and sleep the rest of the night in the chair

They were working on the pool and working on some rooms the hallways were not clean. Some other things need to be fixed like doors. The staff was nice, had an ok breakfast.

My stay
The hotel is doin renovations so the whole time I was there it was nosiy. The hallways were messy ,my room had no smoke detector, and it was just overall a hazard to stay there

The blankets smelled old like they haven’t been washed a lot of rooms was opened that wasn’t in service never was notified that the swimming pool Wasn’t working until we got dressed to go To the pool and was told it was out of service and that was the reason we booked there because of the indoor pool so disappointing about that

I have stayed in many many bad hotels/motels/resorts as a traveling musician. but this definitely ranks as one of the worst. I expected it to be very average based on the stellar price. But this place has clearly never seen a vacuum. It smelled bad (especially in our bathroom). the lobby, stairs, and hallways needed to be vacuumed SO badly! There were cobwebs, dust, spiderwebs, pieces of plaster, pieces of trash everywhere. Some of the doors into rooms had nothing but 2-3 inches of space below the door (just concrete floor in the room I guess?) and some of the room numbers were missing. When we got to our room there was NO LIGHT in the room. yes you read that right. NO LIGHTS. no LAMPST or ceiling lights except in the bathroom. we had to use our flashlights to fumble around getting ready for bed. And the TV in the bedroom was also broken. Then, before getting in bed I went to lock the extra lock (the metal thing that swings of the door) and it was snapped off. That made me feel extra safe. All of this was par for the course in a cheap hotel, but the last straw was when on the way home I received a call from the hotel in which I was accused of STEALING THEIR LAMPS. horrible service. horrible staff. will NEVER stay in a Quality Inn AGAIN.

Worked for us
Service at check-in and check-out was wonderful - very personable front desk staff. Room was spacious and the bed/pillows very comfortable. It looked like the room was under a bit of construction as there was no safety latch (broken off) to the door, some drywall dust and chunks in a corner where a hole was patched, and the bathroom appeared to possibly have been recently used (understandable if they've been in there working). AC worked great and we didn't hear any noise. Room just lacked a few amenities that would make it a bit more comfy - light in bedroom area, remote for TV, lockable bedroom door, clock of some sort. For the purpose of our stay (sleep and shower) it worked for us.

DISGUSTING
Absolutely DISGUSTING Hotel. Dirty. Pillows had blood stains, sheets were stained, carpet stained, even glass door in lobby was filthy. Would have left if it wasn’t 2 am when we checked in. Breakfast was cereal which closed down 10 minutes prior to stated time. Staff was rude and didn’t care about complaint. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough.

The location was very good. But the property was dirty and not well kept. There was no elevator, and the first floor smelled of smoke even though the building is smoke free. The floors throughout were dirty. The room was big and beds okay... but the waste baskets were dirty when we checked in and the door to the bathroom would not fully open... and then would not close. When we showered the tub would fill with water because the drain was clogged.

Under Renovation
Hotel is currently under renovation after being closed for a year. Lots of dust on carpet and things didn’t seem quite ready, for example broken standing lamp, no luggage stand, less furniture than you would expect for a suite, pool not yet open. Breakfast buffet included cold cereal, fruit, and waffle maker (no yogurt or hot food since licensing is pending). We did have a very spacious suite with new furniture at a reasonable room price. Staff were friendly and seem to be trying hard. The location was convenient, not far from the interstate. We found a beautiful botanical gardens a few minutes drive from the hotel.

Dirty, no pool, not great stay.
This hotel was dirty and the hallway smelled. I don’t think it was vacuumed the entire time we were there. The pool was under construction and the WiFi did not work. The breakfast was ok but we had to look for cups ourselves to get coffee and it was not stocked very well. The room was decent and the better part of the stay which is why we stayed and didn’t check out right away. The staff was up front with us about the pool upon check in and tried to be accommodating but I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

This was our worst hotel experiance ever We do not recomend to book this hotel to anybody In general this hotel is filty dirty and run downed in urgent need of cleaning and maintenance The first room given to us was with such a bad odor that my wife got sick Another room was given but was not much better it was also far from clean has a clogged up sink which has residue from someone shaving and had a ripped off security lach The breakfast area was also filty with dirty refrigerator limited food no fruits and when we ask for jelly for the old bread we were told they do not put it out because people steal it !!! Altogether a horribel experience we dont wish anybody else to to encounter

Condemned Hotel
This hotel should not be renting out rooms it looks condemned outside and inside. This was not the hotel that was online. The first floor didn't have any heat rooms where under major construction stuff everywhere dust, dirty floors and missing light covers the pool was deserted and not maintain. My door had two inch gaps at the bottom and sides didn't close properly latch broken off. The bathroom was not cleaned towels were dirty. Not what I booked online.
