Never could get the door to lock when we left. It was unlocked when we arrived on Friday. The sliding door in the living room closest to the hot tub doesn’t lock either. All in all it was being with family that made the weekend wonderful. The house was a disappointment. The kitchen had nearly no glassware to speak of, and we had to purchase Solo cups and dish drying towels. Thank you for dropping off the four wine glasses. The dishwasher was broken, and the washing machine had no detergent… also had to purchase. The house should have been stocked with “starter” pack. There were enough bath towels but only a handful of hand towels and washcloths to use throughout all the bathrooms. No bath mats so had to use the only hand towel as a bath mat. The sectional sofa in the living room is broken where the two sides conjoin. There were mice in the living room and one in the upstairs bedroom that got in my sister’s suitcase and ate through a plastic bag in an effort to eat some snacks she had packed. The ping pong table is also unusable. The house should include a statement that it is not recommended for any guests with mobility issues. The stairs from outside were a challenge for two in our group, and the handrails on the inside stairwells are not installed to code and are hazardously low.
