Regarding booking on the internet, we welcome bookings online - in fact, a sizable proportion of our bookings are through our online partners. In your case, prior to booking online, you telephoned us. On the phone, we did tell you that a king size room was not available (even though it was showing on expedia that a king room was available). Following your conversation wih us, you proceeded to book the king room online, even though we had advised you that only a double room was available. For that reason, our staff made a decision not to refund the difference. With hindsight, this appears to be a harsh decision; please accept my apologies.
