“El personal de recepción fue muy atento y amable. No obstante, la limpieza en el baño dejaba bastante que desear (se podían apreciar pelos en la repisa del lavabo) y la ducha no funcionaba! Lo comunicamos a recepción e intentaron arreglarlo, pero al ser Año Nuevo no pudieron contactar con ningún fontanero. Esto desmereció muchísimo la estancia.”

“The staff and food at dinner were lovely. Breakfast wasn’t run at quite the same standard with a lot of mistakes and delays on orders. The room was nice, although the finer details could do with a bit more attention (dust in corners, dirty grout in bathroom). Bed nice and comfy, unfortunately we were near the road so a bit noisy but that can’t be helped. The resident cats will wake you up early whilst they’re waiting for breakfast though if the traffic doesn’t! We were charged £25 extra for...

“The propert was lovely, our room was modern and up to date. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and clean! The bathroom was so lovely and clean. I loved that you didnt have to go through the pub to get to the rooms although there was a walkway into the pub at the bottom of the steps if you wished too. Staff were friendly and very helpful. ”

“It as a beautiful 1400 Grade 1-listed building, which was great, but I had problems with the shower. In my initial room the water was lukewarm at best. I was moved to another where the water was hot but the shower was weak. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was good. They had soya milk for my coffee.”

“A really welcoming group of people and a quick check in. Typical character building with wonky creaky floors but loads of charm. A bit cold in the room at first but soon warmed up with the heater. Lovely amenities and a great bathroom too. Good pub food for dinner, breakfast was OK (hard boiled poached eggs will always get a point deducted I’m afraid). Will definitely stay again though.”
