From the owners: "Thanks for the review, James! We are thrilled you all had a great time and appreciate the heads up on the lifejackets and wasps. We usually have lifejackets available in the dock box, but it sounds like they have disappeared once again. I will be sure to get a couple more down there asap. We'll also have our cleaning crew do a thorough check for wasps around the exterior of the property. This time of year, they tend to quickly set up nests before we can get to them. Hi Jon, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following: - There is a series of ramps and steps between the house and the dock, but the steps are no steeper than a normal stairway in any home - Since heat rises, we recommend using the ceiling fans (5) to help pull the heat back downstairs and maybe close the upstairs bedroom door - There are 3 ways to get to the property, which are all are maintained by the county, and 2 are paved while the other is gravel - Though the driveway is steep, the parking area is flat enough to ride a motorcycle and have no problem - We have 2 security cameras: one is pointed at the driveway and entry and the other looks at about half the deck - no cameras are on inside when guests are there - All bedrooms have plenty of closet space, and at least 4 empty drawers per bedroom to use - We are buying a lamp for the bedroom that does not have one - We did give instructions on an alternate route to the house that is much better after you expressed concern on this matter Thanks for letting us know about your stay!
