Bellamente restaurada casa Charentaise con piscina privada y vistas impresionantes

La Grange aux Buis es una casa de campo de piedra que ha sido renovada a un alto nivel y ha mantenido muchas de sus características originales. Está situado en la cima de una colina y tiene unas vistas impresionantes de la Francia rural.

La casa es muy luminosa y espaciosa, con amplias habitaciones que están decoradas con buen gusto. Al entrar en la propiedad hay una entrada con escaleras que conducen a un rellano de la galería. En el piso
 piso hay un gran dormitorio doble con baño privado con ducha y WC separado. El salón tiene la chimenea original y una estufa de leña. Esta habitación es un lugar ideal para relajarse.
Hay 2 dormitorios en planta alta. Uno tiene baño privado con ducha y hay un baño familiar para el otro. Todas las habitaciones tienen televisores.
La cocina / comedor de 65 metros cuadrados tiene tres puertas francesas con vistas a la piscina privada y la terraza. La cocina está muy bien equipada y tiene todo lo que pueda necesitar para unas vacaciones perfectas. Hay una gran reserva central con capacidad para 6. Sin embargo, siempre puede sentarse en la mesa con capacidad para 8.
Fuera de la piscina hay una zona de estar con una mesa para ocho. Puedes sentarte y comer aquí mientras contemplas la hermosa campiña francesa.
La casa está rodeada de viñedos y es el lugar perfecto para relajarse. Sin embargo, en 45 minutos puede estar en las playas de arena de Royan o en el corazón de algunos de los lugares más hermosos de Francia, como Burdeos, San Emilio, Cognac y Angulema.
Hay una zona de aparcamiento cubierta para 2 coches.

A Wonderful Choice

My family and I had a marvellous three-week stay at this lovely property. Chris and Caroline were excellent hosts and had attended to every detail with care and attention. This was declared the best holiday ever by all the family. The pool was particularly popular with everyone. It is a lovely area for a family holiday, and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Exceptional property

Just got back from two weeks in this stunning property. It really is beautiful and the hosts Caroline and Chris could not have been more helpful. There is so much space both inside and out to keep everyone from teenage boys to grandparents happy. We spent an amazing peaceful two weeks in the property. I can't decide if my favourite spot is the dining area outside where we spent nearly every meal, or the beautiful kitchen area where we all congregated after dark. Thank you so much for having us.

We absolutely loved our stay in Expiremont. Chris and Caroline were wonderful hosts. The property is beautiful, and thoroughly set up for children and families staying. Our children loved the pool, various games and dvds that were there, and the badminton and table tennis in the stunning garden area. The property has stunning views of the rolling Charente countryside and vineyards. Would thoroughly recommend.

A dream stay in a gorgeous house

Caroline and Chris made us so welcome in their beautiful house. We loved the outdoor area with its lovely seating areas, great pool and stunning views. The house was even better than in the photos!

fantastic Place

The home was fantastic for ourselves and out adult children and grandchildren. We stayed 2 weeks and everyone else came and went as their time allowed. Caroline and Chris couldn't have been more accommodating but not intrusive. A beautiful home that is easy for all to have a great time. Restaurants in the area exceeded our expectations. Thank You Chris and Caroline for our wonderful experience.

Exceptionnel !

Caroline et Chris sont des personnes formidables et à l’écoute de leurs hôtes et on fait preuve de beaucoup de gentillesse et d’attention à notre égard. La maison est belle (ancienne ferme charentaise rénovée), propre et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La vue est magnifique et l’environnement d’un calme reposant. Il y a une belle piscine mais nous n’en avons pas vraiment profité à cause du temps. Nous vous recommandons les yeux fermés cette propriété !

Superbe bâtisse de ferme très joliement remise au confort actuel. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Expiremont. Séjour magnifique et agréable dans une belle maison confortable!

Magnifique grande maison tout confort, intérieur, extérieur, piscine avec vue sur une campagne superbe, calme et luxe résument bien cet endroit! Tout est parfaitement propre et aménagé, les propriétaires qui habitent discrètement à côté sont adorables et disponibles si besoin. Nous avons adoré cette semaine en campagne charentaise, loin de la foule mais proche de plages et de beaux endroits, au bon vouloir de chacun. Amazing and beautiful Gite in a truly stunning setting!

Caroline and Chris were the perfect hosts and deserve great credit for creating an amazing Gite with everything you could wish for! 'Le Nook' is beautifully decorated and is in a stunning setting in the middle of the rolling French countryside. I would recommend 'Le Nook' to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. The pool and surrounding gardens wouldn't look out of place at the Chelsea Flower Show and reflect the care and attention put into them by Caroline & Chris. Panoramic views and a wonderful setting

We really enjoyed our 11 days here. The property is well described on the website, though perhaps understating the beautiful garden which has more roses, geraniums and petunias than anywhere we've seen outside RHS Wisley. The accommodation is compact but entirely sufficient and well equipped. A door from the bedroom to the pool area would shorten the route from kitchen to the magnificent shaded eating area but the exercise does no harm! Expiremont is not at the heart of tourist France which means that places of interest involve a little more travelling but the up side of this is that the places to visit are not overrun with fellow Brits and are authentic France. We were certainly not disappointed. Chris and Caroline are excellent hosts with a good knowledge of where to go and what to do and, within the limits of sharing the same site, are sensitive to giving us the free run of the place.

Very charming and helpful hosts, quiet and peaceful setting with lovely views from the pretty rear garden. Bathroom a bit compact, but otherwise accommodation well equipped with comfortable bed. No hesitation in recommending.

We found the perfect place to relax, unwind and soak up everything good this beautiful region of France has to offer. Le Nook is both quaint & chic, a literally idyllic base with stunning views across the French countryside. Hosts Caroline & Chris are lovely and have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The property is conscientiously maintained from the lovingly tendered flora & fauna, to the spotlessly clean pool, bbq & outside eating area. The accommodation is also spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable with charming personal touches such as fresh flowers in the kitchen and cheese & wine on arrival. Cannot recommend this place enough, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Awesome gite and lovely hosts

We stayed at Le Nook for 2 weeks and we had a lovely time. The gite is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The pool area has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and has plenty of comfortable seating . It is the ideal place to relax. Caroline and Chris were very welcoming and the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were there whenever we needed them. We honestly cannot think of sufficient words to praise them enough. If you are thinking of visiting this area then you must stay at Le Nook. We hope to return!
