As advertised, clean quiet and big and well organized
Place was well organized, I have a group of friends and we do traveling remote work, convenient to hiking, close to the beach, and everything was as advertised. The trampoline was a hit with the group and 10 of us were comfortable in the house throughout the stay. Furnishing was nice and adequate and in like-new condition. The yard was very well cared for and we got to catch everything in bloom in the spring, spectacular!

Great for our group trip!
Came here with 18 and for our family reunion. They've done a very good job on the remodeling work, we've come to Crescent City many times and northern California past eureka has a lot of just old and dated homes. The AC system was great, they had infinite hot water which was a nice suprise we thought we'd be converting water the whole time, nothing worse than having no hot water for a big group. There was an extra couch in the master bedroom which was not in the photos which was nice to arrive to and a nice brand new leather couch in the living room which was also a nice surprise, that wasn't photographed either. We used this location as our home base for everything and all the neighbors are nice and the homes are kept in decent condition. The kids absolutley loved the backyard and 4 of the kids actually slept on the trampoline the first night and the host provided a tent for us for the kids for the backyard after they were enjoying the yard so much. The finishings in the home are very nice, the pictures don't do it justice. Quality workmanship all around, the window sills and door frames are beautiful and they did a nice job of keeping some old unique characteristics of the home with the remodel. We have no complaints at all other than an alley cat coming into the yard which the kids ended up making friends with, and our group did bring ear plugs and sleeping masks because you know how that goes with light sleepers. The hosts recommended a bonfire down by the beach loved it.

Clean, bright, new!
Easy to get inside. Flexible arrival time. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with what was needed. I love to cook. Younger kids loved the trampolline outside and teenager loved the room with a swivel tv. Could hear the ocean from the front door. We went in March so a little chilly and didnt spend much time outside but there was a firepit and nice outdoor furniture. Only about 30-45min by car to scenic redwood forest drive, coastal drive and drive thru tree. Nice restaurants nearby. Host was responsive and friendly. Overall absolutely fantastic experience.

VERY misleading. You DON'T get what you're promised.
Horrible!! I've gotten nothing but false information from day 1. Someone tells me 1 thing, another tells me something else. Upon arrival, things appear nice & clean. On closer inspection, dining table had all shorts of spots and marks which were covered up with table mats. Dining chair were filthy. Bar stool were filty. Some silverwares were filthy. Some blankets were filthy - dark spot and blotches that looked like crap residue, all over. Under the pillow case, some of these "white" pillows had yellow and brown blotches all over. I stopped keeping track after this. Things they lied and/or misinformed me about at time of booking. 1. Description says 3 bedrooms, then immediately under that, it says 4 bedroom - Nope only 3 rooms. 2. Sends me a link showing check-in is after 4pm - On day of check-in, tells me check-in is 5pm "and has always been that way". 3. Sleeps 25 max - DO NOT go with more than 12 people. Now they upped to "sleeps 30". 4. Tells me there's additional roll up beds and air matresses on site - Requested for air mattresses (because there wasn't enough beds for every one). Was told i must've misunderstood because the roll up and air mattress were the "same thing". BS! 5. Two rooms were combined into 1 to make 1 great big room to sleep large groups - The "Great room" was probably no bigger than 200/250 sq ft, with the island, dining table and counters taking up 60% of the space. There's so much more, my comment is limited, I dont have space to list everything.

Fantastic experience. Great Host
I recently stayed at this vacation home rental in Crescent City and it was a fantastic experience! The property was well-maintained and beautifully furnished, making it feel like a luxurious home away from home. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and well-equipped. We had 14 in our group and it was a bit tight but we were able to make it work with the extra roll away beds they provide, and they also have little partitions to make sleeping in the living area more private. Backyard had a nice suprise with firepit, gazebo, and trampoline. The location was ideal, situated in a quiet neighborhood that was just a short drive away from some of the area's best attractions, including Redwood National and State Parks and the beautiful beaches along the coast. The owner recommended Ocean World which was a huge hit with the family. We loved being able to explore the local area during the day and then come back to the comfort of our vacation home in the evenings. The property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed before and during our stay. We felt well taken care of and appreciated the attention to detail that was put into making our stay enjoyable. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this vacation home rental and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Crescent City. Thank you for a great experience!
