Beautiful secluded area
Beautiful home and property! Close to all the amenities but yet privacy for your group. Located just off the main road on a private drive where the morning walks lead you to nature and tranquility. Beach is only a couple miles away and shopping close. Great place to relax and unwind. The house is welcoming and makes you feel right at home. Can not say enough about the beauty! Bonus is the host is very responsive and very knowledgeable of the area. Looking forward to our next stay❤️

Girls weekend
We are a group of seven friends that like to get away for a winter weekend. This house had plenty of space for all of us to socialize and sleep comfortably. The TV area and couch are very spacious. We used the hot tub a ton and it is very nice! Overall, we had a great weekend!

Beautiful home and property
We had a great stay at Joshua’s home. It was a beautiful snowy weekend and we loved all of the amenities here, not least of all the hot tub. Joshua was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. The home is very spacious and has a lot of nice touches and conveniences. We had six adults and all had plenty of room and each couple had its own bathroom. We couldn’t have had a nicer time!

Lake Michigan Gem
Perfect location for ease of access to Saugatuck & South Haven. Loved the acreage and feeling of solitude while being so close to great parks, restaurants, and shopping. Would absolutely stay again!

Excellent Family Vacation
Great place, tucked away in the woods and in a peaceful setting. Very close to Douglas, Saugatuck, and some great beaches. Very well-equipped home with grill large kitchen lots of space with a couple of living areas, large deck, loads of sleeping room. The house is very tastefully decorated and the owners are very responsive to any questions. My only "recommendation" is around the coffee maker. I never really figured it out but we got it to work every day. Perhaps some instructions (or a simple Mr. Coffee? :)). My entire family enjoyed the week...we had a blast. Highly recommend this fine property.

Awesome
Beautiful home away from home. Nicely stocked kitchen, lots of breathing space for a large family, very clean, lots of outdoor privacy. A sweet little haven away from crowds, but in close proximity to town and beaches. We especially loved the hiking trails.

Perfect home base for family vacation
We loved our stay at this house - it's tucked away in a beautiful wooded spot, but only about a five minute drive from Saugatuck. There were ten of us (plus a dog) staying in the house, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is clean and well-decorated, and there is a really nice deck and firepit area for outdoor time.

Wonderful Family Getaway
Our three families (6 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs) loved our stay at Wildwood. The home is beautiful, inside and out. The layout gave each family privacy, but we were also able to comfortably gather in the dining room, living room or family room and enjoy time together. We especially liked the lovely enclosed deck, which helped to keep the kids and dogs corralled. Joshua is the perfect host - great recommendations and so helpful!

Girl’s weekend
I would highly recommend staying at Josh’s place! The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed. ALL the beds were comfortable and clean and having three bathrooms for a girls weekend was very useful! We used the hot tub for morning coffee and it worked as expected. Would highly recommend for a big family or group of people!

This is our second time staying at Wildwood or as we like to call it Vinter Haus, as we always come in the winter to get out of the city. The property is just as expected, Joshua is a wonderful host and very communicative. Three families stayed here comfortably and always have a restful weekend away!

Wonderful vacation home
This home was all that, and more! From the moment we turned down the country road this home was on we knew we would have some beautiful views We were not disappointed... This home has a decor that invites one to relax. Like cooking, the kitchen has all you might need to prepare any meal. The house is roomy and open, yet the bedrooms are very separate from the living areas. Speaking of bedrooms, the beds are so comfortable, Love the great outdoors? One is surrounded by woods and great fresh air that only nature can provide. Can't say enough about this rental. Douglas/Sagatuck.is within minutes and offers great fun, shopping, beach, and casual dining. All around the perfect rental home.

Best rental we've ever had!
House was immaculate and perfect for all 12 of us! Loved the decor! Beds were so comfy, even the bunks! Big kitchen had everything we could possibly need! Location was great...close to the beach and downtown but still secluded and private. We've been renting every summer in Saugatuck for the past 20 years and this house is by far and above, the best. The owner, Joshua was great and very responsive. Perfect getaway for our whole family! We didn't want to leave! Highly Recommend!!

Second year stay
We stayed in this beautiful house again this summer. It is just perfect. Enjoyed a bonfire with s’mores, dips in the hot tub, relaxing morning with views of the woods, and ended the nights playing games at the huge kitchen table. We ate almost every night at the house because they have everything! Literally there is an espresso machine, Weber grill, Kitchen Aid mixer, etc! Probably the cleanest rental I’ve ever been in. So close to Douglas and Saugatauk. We are always sad to return to real life. Joshua is an amazing host; accommodating and timely with response. Plan to continue the tradition.

This is a great place for large families
The size of rooms are wonderful! Three plus bedrooms, 3 bathrooms,! This is great to have when you have 3-different families. Each room in the house can provide you with a peaceful getawa (if you need one). I love the fact that the only room with a TV is in the lower, large family room. This gives us all a great break from - the world so that we can enjoy what’s really important (our family). The huge, beautiful kitchen and dining area allowed is to make and prepare our food and celebrate. The woods surrounding the house makes you feel so tranquil. I highly recommend the places Joshua mentions. The diner down the road - great food! Picking blueberries, Thanks Joshua for sharing your slice of Heaven with us!

great location to get to neighboring towns Have to drive to walking paths immediate area was not great for morning walks because of speedy but light traffic. downstairs temperature was chilly so bring warm pjs! overall very nice house!

Celebrating 50th Wedding Anniversary Week
This property met the needs of our whole family of 11, plus a 3 month old puppy! Our 3 families spent the week together at Wildwood. Granna and Grandad had the master suite on the main floor level. The 5 grandchildren used the bunk room and the cozy nook in the lower level. The 2 couples each used one of the other bedrooms. The common spaces-kitchen,living room,family room are spacious! It’s secluded in the woods but has quick and easy access to the main Blue Star Highway. It was very easy to travel to shopping, dinner, and sunsets. We all had a great time, and the children didn’t want to leave! They had spent much of their outdoor time riding scooters up and down the paved private driveway ! Joshua is a great host, and has a quick response time for questions. We were so happy we found Wildwood!

Private Getaway
Our family had a great time at this secluded, beautiful home! It was equipped with everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked with new appliances and gadgets. The hot tub and fire pit were top notch. We had no issues with Wi-Fi or cable and plenty of seating for large groups (indoor and outdoor). Everything was very clean. The West Side County Park was a short drive away with free access to the beautiful Lake Michigan beach. Would highly recommend this home!

Saugatuck Girls Weekend 2022!!
Seven of us stayed here for our 8th annual girls weekend and had an amazing time! The house was beautiful and extremely clean. The huge kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the great weather and spent a lot of time out on the back deck. The house was so private and felt secluded, yet close to Douglas, Saugatuck and Lake Michigan. There is so much to do and see in this area. We had a blast! Perfect weekend getaway!

Great Location and private stay
This is a great home to stay with many amenities to enjoy. There were two couples and a family of four and there was plenty of space in the home. Snowy weekend escape from the city
Amazing property with space to spread out and plenty to do in the area. Two families with kids aged 8-13 and our dogs spent a snowy weekend hanging out around the fire, enjoying the hot tub and local sights. Went sledding, hiking and explored Saugatuck’s adorable downtown. The house has a great floor plan, beautiful furnishings and a fully stocked kitchen. It was spotless on arrival and had nice little touches throughout. The owner thought of literally everything you could need or want to make your stay enjoyable. Joshua was available via text and responded immediately, even checked in to ensure we didn’t need anything and left a bottle of wine for us upon arrival. We will definitely be back!

I can't say much that the other 5-star reviews haven't said. Our group of friends has rented many other properties over the years, and none has compared to this and the thought and care that's been put into it. We thoroughly enjoyed the winter-friendly amenities including hot tubbing in the snow, lazing by the fire, and snuggling up in the luxurious Pendleton blankets on the sectional while gaming and chatting. Joshua is an exceptional host, with great communication and well-wishes before, during, and after. If you're into hiking or snowshoeing, don't miss Crow's Nest Trail in Saugatuck less than 10 minutes away. The 2.5 mile trail takes you up wooded ridges to the top of a dune with a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. We look forward to a return visit to Wildwood!

Charming Property
Lovely property that’s away from it all yet close enough to restaurants and shopping. The downstairs was much bigger than I expected. The bedrooms were well thought-out as they are far away from the family room and separated by a long hallway. Would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Best rental I’ve ever stayed
Wanted to get away for my 30th birthday. This house was perfect. We had 10 people and two dogs and there was plenty of space. The owners have thought of everything you can think of that you could need. There was even a cabinet stocked with bowls for the 4 legged guests. If you are thinking about booking here you won’t regret it. The hosts are amazing, the house is even better than the photos, and the location is so close to many great places. If I could give 10 stars I would. I’m a very seasoned world traveler and I highly recommend this stay.

Perfect Christmas
My family rented Wildwood for Christmas. It was perfect for our holiday celebration. House was immaculately clean and well-stocked. Kitchen is a dream to cook in and has everything you would ever need. Joshua was an amazing host; from our first interaction, he was a great communicator and available for whatever we needed. He went above and beyond and even decorated the house for the holiday. TV went kaput day before we arrived and was replaced prior to our arrival. We could not have had a better rental experience and will most definitely be back.

Well needed, luxurious escape!
The property was impeccably maintained. Everything is very modern and up to date. It's a spacious, cozy place that has great rooms for group gatherings, while still being spacious enough to have some down time if you need a little escape. The hot tub is gorgeously placed next to a very wooded back yard and was a treat to lounge in. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking equipment you could ever need. Jacob was an excellent host. Always communicated clearly and responded very promptly! Would recommend staying here, we probably will next winter!

Friendship and family by the firepit
We had an amazing week! The house was perfect, and we put the well-appointed kitchen to good use making big breakfasts and dinners that we enjoyed around the spacious dining table. We enjoyed the fire pit two of the nights. And the front porch was the perfect spot for pictures to remember a lovely week spent with the best of friends. Thank you!!
