Very nice comfortable home with amazing lake views. The kiddos really enjoyed the playroom, and also hit the hot tub several times after long adventure days. Close to several nice beach parks, and close to Florence’s wonderful old downtown restaurants. Had a wonderful time here!

Lake House

The view was amazing coupled with proximity to town makes this a great location. Kids loved game room. We were able to fish right from dock. This place is priced right for what it has to offer. Hot tub was dirty so we decided to not use it. Kitchen was well appointed with all the necessary cooking items.

Great view. Beds of hell

The house is clean, with a nice view of the lake. Hot tub was very clean, especially for a rental. Issue are beds are about as hard as a rock, and cheap as can be. The upstairs bed broke on the second night. Needed to still use it for sleep. Took it apart and found that the bed has been fixed multiple times. Outher main issue was there was teash left fron the cleaning people . So the teash was over flowing. The deck has a few rotten boards that someone will go through in the near future if not fixed soon. They count the garage in there sq ft estimate. Which is to cold to sleep in, in the winter at least. Worst of all not the owners fault but who ever built it. The walls are thin as papper. You can hear everything in anyroom of the house. The parking is terrible. House should be listed for 8 people not 10. Its not a bad place but i would've rent it again

Beautiful

Great house but multi-level if you have issues with lots of stairs. Be careful with the door knob from the lower level to the small patio/balcony because the knob is a little deceptive and it is easy to lock yourself out of the house. Host might want to consider a combination door lock on one of the doors to address that issue.

Peaceful Lake Life

Lots of stairs - but worth the views and the fun!!!!! had our dog with us so the lake was perfect after spending hours on our favorite beach north of florence. quiet, lush and green and met many wonderful neighbors on the daily walks with the dog

Family getaway

The view, location, environment, and overall experience was exactly what we were looking for. Our entire family has been on the go all Summer with projects and moving. We all needed a relaxing getaway and we got just that at the lake house. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this spot!

Lovely, well appointed home with poorly maintained hot tub.

We would have loved our stay had the hot tub been better maintained. Two of our party went to the ER twice with painful skin infections - cellulitis and mastitis - that had to be treated with antibiotics. I asked for my ER copay to be reimbursed but did not hear back from the host. I had asked the host to have the hot tub treated for bacteria, so I could be sure that the antibiotic given was appropriate (it wasn’t, and later had to be changed,) but instead of testing for bacteria, they just cleaned and refilled the tub. I am incredibly disappointed and would not recommend staying here.

Lakefront Paradise!

My family and I had a truly amazing and memorable stay at this property. 5 stars across the board! The view simply can't be beat. The beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in in our lives. Almost every morning we were greeted by the darling sight of a cute little forest bunny eating outside the master bedroom's window. The neighborhood was ideal for our daily walks with our dog. And the internet was lightning fast, making streaming, downloading, and any work from home tasks a breeze. The decor was perfect, the kitchen a joy to cook and bake in, and, as always, the host, Jim, was wonderful to work with. I would love to come back here for another trip, perhaps by then the kayaks will be available and we'll be able to enjoy some time on the lake; that would be a dream come true. I would recommend a welcome book just to cover the basics like where the garbage cans are supposed to go to get picked up and what the remote near the thermostat is for (we never quite figured that out), but all in all it's an incredible property, beautifully set up, and we felt very fortunate to spend part of our vacation there. Thank you for the memories!

Wonderful Lake Home
