Rooms are very nice and restaurant has very good food. Can hear people in the next rooms and across hall...not very sound proof at all. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

I'm sorry that you had a negative experience with us on your stay. We book hockey teams throughout the winter, and try to keep up on the noise level throughout the evening. Next time, please alert the front desk so we can ensure you have a better stay. Also, We do offer complimentary passes to the gym in town.

Nice lake view , rooms clean, good food drink but the food and rooms are a bit pricy though. You’re paying for the lakefront view/ a bar and restaurant on site. If you’re not needing convenience of a bar/ restaurant, I’d suggest staying at the bayview motel just a stone’s throw away. There is plenty of food options in town.

It's a beautiful location, hotel is a bit dated and expensive for the condition of the property. It's not bad, but certainly not new. I arrived late and was able to get some microwaveable food at the convenience store, only to realize there was no micro in the room. They have one in the lobby and one by the ice machine...so I used that and it was fine. No complimentary breakfast, so I paid for breakfast in the dining room...again, expensive for what it was. Also, water was shut off for an hour between 9-10 a.m. Maybe the desk person informed me when I checked in but I don't remember them saying anything about it, but I was exhausted and might've missed it. They also had a very small note taped to the front desk, which I missed as well. So, I slept in, only to wake to no water...my point, why not wait until after check out time? That would seem to be more appropriate than shutting the water off while guests might still be there getting ready this leave. Anyway, decent hotel but a bit pricey.

The room was great! It had been newly renovated which was a welcoming because the common areas/hallways looked like they were from the 70s, smelly & dirty. The restaurant on site was good, maybe a little pricey and no breakfast provided by the hotel. Overall a nice place, and I did see signs that the rest of the hotel will undergo a renovation as well.

Customer service blows. I reserved a room specifically pet friendly. It was confirmed. I travelled all day only to arrive for them to tell me the room wasn’t pet friendly. No other hotels had vacancy so my family and I were left without accommodation. Very unprofessional.

Clean basic amenities, bar a little pricey
Nice view, clean room, ok cost. Hot water took 5min to get hot. Breakfast didnt start till 7am. Overall it was a nice place but maybe a little costly as it was pretty basic place.

I had more than one room booked. The accessible rooms are near the middle of he hotel. The wheelchair parking is near the lobby. If you don’t have a wheelchair but use a walker it is a long way to get to your room. If you use a closer door to the accessible rooms there is a bit of a step. My suggestion would be to add a small ramp to the alternate door as well as wheelchair parking spots. Otherwise an absolutely great place to stay.
