Kimberly, regarding your review of your stay, let me clear some things up for future guests. Upon entering the property, you go through a beautiful screen enclosed courtyard and pool deck that leads to the second floor screened enclosed balcony outside the guesthouse. It is not a throughway. My husband and I are the homeowners and full time residents. I am not sure why this is an issue for you. Guests consider this to be a plus, as we are always available to address any questions or needs a guest may have. As far as the private beach access goes, it is regularly maintained, but, there is just so much that can be trimmed because the grasses, and, dunes are protected. Additionally, you misread the note for the a/c. We would never ask a guest not to lower the thermostat below 76 degrees. That request is for when guests are not in the guesthouse. We do everything we can to ensure a comfortable, and, enjoyable stay, and, we try to accommodate guests whenever we can, like we did for you, when you asked for our exact location, well ahead of your reservation, which is not typically done, for safety, and, security reasons, but, I made an exception because I knew you were trying to arrange travel for family members that were attending a local wedding. Finally, to say that the glass doors that lead to the courtyard onto the pool deck is “creepy” is both offensive, and, insulting. We have great respect for our guests, and, their privacy, which is why we are five-star reviewed, and, have maintained our Premier Host status for six years. I am very proud of this, and, take it very seriously.

I make every effort to ensure that guests are provided with as much information as possible about my listing before they book. This includes pictures and detailed descriptions. I take every review seriously, so, it is disappointing you felt it necessary to point certain things out, such as the size of the kitchen alcove, and the stairs to the guesthouse, which should come as no surprise to any one who reads my listing.
