Softball Tournament Weekend Getaway

We decided we wanted to stay at the beach instead of at a hotel that was close to the softball complex in Freeport....and it was DEFINITELY worth it. Quiet area and a short walk to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed for our family and home was very clean. We walked further up the beach when the tide was high but no matter what area we went to, the beach wasn't ever extremely packed even on Saturday afternoon. Went to have dinner at Pier 31 on Saturday night. Nice relaxing place for the entire the family.

Family beach trip

The property was great and Christy was so very helpful and let us check in early and even gave the kids beach toys to play with . Would definitely stay here again

Beach getaway

We enjoyed the property except there was construction next door literally steps away. Hammering and nail guns all day. Also, the property is in need of maintenance. I do feel it was a little misrepresented on the Vrbo site. It was clean and I had no problems otherwise.

Great roomy house

The house was very roomy and easily fit 4 adults and 4 kids with room for more. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances we needed to cook meals at the house. There was plenty of towels and having the washer and dryer was a huge plus! Our kids loved playing on the swings below the house and we really loved having the yard fenced in. We would stay here on a visit in the future.

Fine - a tiny bit of TLC would make it great

The place is fine, with a good floor plan and good appliances and provisions; however, it could be so much more with just a little effort and a little money. Front porch and front door need re-doing. Outside steps are steep and not great for very young or very old. A little touch-up paint inside would add wonders - also a bit of decorating skill would make a big difference. Bring your own water and ice -- Surfside's is not drinkable.. Also bring charcoal & fire starter if you want to use the grill.

Exactly what we needed for our getaway.

Property was clean and more spacious than I had expected. Just a couple of blocks from the sea wall, and within walking distance of pedestrian beach (1/2 mi or so). We chose to utilize the parking near the beach. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

5/5! Everything about our experience was wonderful. Top notch place with very welcoming hosts. Loved the location & all the amenities. Suggestion- bring mosquito repellents/candles & lots of water if coffee drinkers. The water is fine to shower but wouldn’t drink. (Not the hosts fault!)
