Amazing!!
The house was perfect! It is very close to the beach and a short drive to Galveston. We had everything we needed and it was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again in the future!!

10/10 Excellent Waterfront Home!!!
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful waterfront home! We were there during the week and it was so nice and peaceful outside by the canal. The view is beautiful! The bed was comfortable and the home was spotless inside....So relaxing! We enjoyed walks in the evening around the neighborhood and fishing at nighttime! The underwater fishing light is awesome...a fishermans paradise!!! We took our little dogs and they, too, enjoyed their stay. The property is lovely and the location is great!! Robin is a great host and we hope to return again in the future!

Nice getaway and close to home
Wanted to get kids out and was a nice place to base everything from. Beach access (17?) directly across from the neighborhood this house is in and handful of food choices around there. Overall good accommodations and owner provides lot of amenities you won't get anywhere else. Only callout I would make is that with little ones be aware of the spiral staircase which we saw in the pictures but didn't fully realize till we were there.

Fantastic week with family
Perfect place for our family of 4, with our 2 kids ages 7 and 11. Everything was exactly as described and Robin was super responsive and helpful. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Great amenities
We were very pleased with the layout of the property and felt very safe for our dog. The property can be completely closed in and has plenty of space for you dog to run. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to rent this one out again.

Fishing Trip
Stayed with my two brothers while on a fishing trip. The property was perfect in all aspects. With canal access, the guide pulled up in his boat every morning and droped us back off in the afternoon. I hope we get to stay again in the future.

Tortuga Cay… wonderful!
Comfortable beds, new linens, nice furniture, fenced yard. House well equipped with everything you need. Would rent this house again. It was perfect for us and our little dog.

Awesome house, location, owner. Very clean, a/c is cold (and this was in August), good fishing with light underwater, great food nearby….perfect stay. Ready to book again and I’ve only been home an hour.

Amazing!
This house was just what we were looking for to complete a short trip. We loved the location to the beach and the neighborhood. The beach was just across the street from the neighborhood. You are able to drive your car on the beach and park. The house is in a canal/cove area on the water in a quaint neighborhood. We expected mosquitos to be terrible, but there was not a single mosquito. We actually noticed that there were hardly any bugs outside by the water. Living on a Texas Lake, we were impressed with this! We loved the kayaks, the bicycles, and the decks. Fishing off of the deck was fun so bring your gear. The upstairs was a perfect place for teens to sleep while adults can have privacy downstairs. The owner was very responsive. I contacted them asking for a mop because the floors had some soapy residue on them. She offered to send housekeeping back but we declined. It wasn’t a big deal to us and certainly was not complaint worthy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We would totally stay again! If large dogs were allowed we’d probably stay often and for longer visits. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Quick get away
Tortuga Cay was great! Beautiful location on the canal and quick and convenient beach access. We really enjoyed the bikes and the kayaks!

West Bay ☀️ Waterfront Paradise 🚣‍♀️
Make the reservation even if it’s last minute. Robin was a great and responded quickly. The house was located in a great spot and our doodles loved the fenced yard. The house was clean and the views were so good! We ate on the deck, we fished, we watched the fish swim in the green underwater light, we sipped coffee and sat in the swing early in the mornings, we laid on the chairs on the top deck before bed while we listened to the music from across the water and counted the stars, we enjoyed a morning walk on the beach with the dogs, we biked around the neighborhood, we sat downstairs and let the dogs play in the yard while we visited with the neighbors, we kayaked, we swam, we stayed up all night watching movies. We did it all in a great house with a great host. Book the trip!

It was a great relaxing time. We slept good, enjoyed the neighborhood, kayaks, and the sea breeze. The home was in need of some exterior maintenance, and the fishing light was not working. We had a great time.

Fabulous and Relaxing

Wonderful!
The house was very clean and comfortable. The swing on the deck was so nice for sipping morning coffee and the upstairs balcony was great for lounging. We didn't catch any fish but it wasn't from the lack of trying and an abundance of fish which we could clearly see at night thanks to the green light in the water in front of the private deck. Would definitely recommend this house.

Our new beach getaway.
My husband and I have been looking for a place at the coast that would allow us to travel with our two dogs. This was perfect. The fenced yard came in so handy. They had a place to stretch their legs. We walked the neighborhood and everyone was so pleasant. The house was very comfortable during this very cold time. We can't wait to go back!

Awesome stay!
Perfect spot for our pre-Thanksgiving family trip - plenty of space for parents, young kiddo, and grandparents. Felt super safe for our daughter and pup. We spent a lot of time inside because of rain and we were very comfortable!

Great house with good amenities
I stayed here with my parents, partner, and pup and there was plenty of space for us all to coexist. Ruby loved the large yard and we took advantage of the kayaks! The house was comfortable and well appointed and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Loved our stay!
We had a blast on our 3 night getaway and really enjoyed the home. Our family and my parents all enjoyed the spaces available from the living area to the decks for morning coffee. We were super impressed by the cleanliness of the house. We did enjoy the kayaks and made use of a few beach toys :) Robin was very easy to get a hold of when I had a question during our stay. Thank you for a great stay and all the little extras that are available. Our family had a great time

Very nice location and property.
This was very nice and would stay here again. The only complaints are that the TV in the downstairs and upstairs did not work. Also, there were 5 or 6 encounters with cockroaches. The boogie boards were broke. We left behind a fishing pole, New boogie boards, and some beach toys for your guests in the future.

Kevin, thanks so much for allowing us to host your trip and for the 5-star review. I'm so sorry there were issues during your stay. In the future, please, please, please let me know during your stay and we can have any issues addressed immediately. It turns out both TV's were set to the wrong input and were working fine the whole time and we would have been happy to drop off some new boogie boards if we'd known. I also had our exterminator out today to check for roaches and spray just in case (we have a monthly contract that includes follow up service). He didn't see any evidence of roaches and we've never had an issue before so I'm hoping and guessing you are referring to seeing them outside near the dock possibly? At any rate, this is something I would have been happy to address immediately had I known. Thanks again for allowing us to host your trip to Galveston!

Awesome House w/Great Fishing from dock!
House was modern, clean and spacious and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a blast on the kayaks and swimming in the canal during the day and caught keeper size speckled trout by the underwater lights each night. Fenced yard was great for our labs and having a gate to prevent them from jumping in the canal was an added bonus that most canal houses don't have. Not a single issue or complaint to report. Place is awesome.

We’ll be back!
Easy all around with a host who answers quickly. My family had so much fun fishing and swimming in the canal. We took the kayaks out and seen plenty of fish. House was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The spiral staircase was cool and easily blocked off with gates they had. 10/10 recommend!

Wonderfull getaway
This was the second time staying at this property and we had a blast again. The family really enjoyed it and want to plant another trip here soon. Property owner was real easy to to communicate with, The only odd thing was some guy in a brown car pulled up to the house and took a picture of the house and us while we were outside not sure why. Other then that I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and relaxing
Our family of four stayed here. It was beautiful - exactly as pictured. We stayed Sun- Wed and barley saw any other people. Kayaks and bikes were fun. About 25 minutes to all the action of Galveston, which was fine with us! There was an issue with the fridge but Robyn had it repaired right away. Impressive response time. Highly recommend. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location and Perfect for our Family
We really enjoyed our weekend! There is plenty of parking, lots of space to spread out, and we fished every evening. The older kids used the kayaks and the bikes, they were a great bonus. Enjoyed the view from the decks. The house is on a larger part of the canal which was very nice and quiet. Great communication by the owner. Everything was very nice. 5 stars!

Nice property, roomy, great balconies, quiet. Only thing you need to bring are paper towels/napkins and coffee. Quiet beach across the street from the neighborhood, quick drive to the east part of the island where more restaurants and groceries are. Enjoyed my stay.

We love it here! The property is equipped with everything you need for a fun and relaxing visit to Jamaica Beach! Highly recommend!
