Love the location! But a few things to note...
Location was perfect. A few things were disappointing with the house that should have been disclosed. They do starter supplies, such as one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and the bathroom handsoap is bar soap. Also, they require black trashbags which would have been good to note before we brought out own bags for the trash. Also, they only provide one towel per person which means youre doing laundry almost daily in order to have clean wash rags/towels to bathe with. The dishwasher had a leak and it took 3 calls to get a tech there to fix it but it did get fixed on day 2. Had to go back out to get supplies to hand wash dishes until then though. Also, no ceiling light in one of the rooms (just a dim table lamp) so had to use the closet light in order to see. Great selection of games for the rainy time we were there. Because of the rain, the driveway floods...and i mean FLOODS. Had to carry our shoes as youre ankle deep getting to the vehicle. Had a great time, place was clean! Fishing was great and plenty of room on the dock. House could use more outdoor amenities (canoe, paddle boat,etc) like other houses we have stayed. This is our 10th year staying in jamaica beach and we come back annually.
