Exactly as advertised. Privacy and gorgeous views minutes away from town. It was the best of both worlds. The cabin was immaculate, absolutely no complaints.

Easily accessible cabin just outside the Gatlinburg Arts and Craft District. Cabin was clean and well equipped to meet our needs from kitchenware to bathroom amenities.

Bear in Mind was a great stay!!! We stayed a week in June and had all the comforts of home. For previous stays in other houses we always had to go buy the “essentials”. At Bear in Mind Richelle had everything you needed: garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, soap, dish soap, paper towels, etc. The view every morning was amazing, beds super comfy, having a gas grill that had propane supplied to it was awesome!!! I have nothing negative to say. The best part was all the visitors!!! There was a momma black bear and her cubbies who visited every day. Also another bear unsure of age. Always looking outside before we ventured out for the day.One little tip is anyone hauling a trailer greater then 20ft, it’s definitely scary going up and down the roads to this house and difficult to maneuver/turn around.

We had another fantastic stay at the cabin! The house is very clean, so convenient to whatever you may need but still feels like you are tucked away in the woods, is tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds, has a kitchen with everything you may need, and a lower level where our family enjoyed playing pool and games. There’s both an upper and lower deck (some covered) that has a hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, swing, and plenty of furniture for our entire family to relax throughout the week. We loved looking at the mountains while enjoying our morning coffee! We can’t wait to return!

Location was close to places we want to visit. Great porches with quiet wooded area. Property clean and adequate areas for privacy when staying with others. The kitchen was fully stocked if you wanted to cook. Very comfortable beds. Would recommend this cabin if you are visiting in the area.

The location is great! Close to the arts and crafts community and a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Super quiet area and we saw a bear!!

We loved our stay at Bear in Mind! We had plenty of space indoors and out - one of our favorite things to do was simply grill and eat dinner at the picnic table on the upper deck. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful - perfect for relaxing! We had 6 people (4 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 6) The kids shared the pull out sofa in the game room which they thought was really fun. Richele is a great host, very good communication all the way through. The cabin was stocked with all of the essentials which was helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Bear In Mind was perfect in every way!!! Beautiful decor..immaculate..personal touches..guest book..game room..organized kitchen!!! Richele was a pleasure..always responsive for any question/any time promptly!! Perfect get away..will definitely be back and even interested in their other properties!! We absolutely loved it..only hesitation with sharing our review is that it will be discovered and harder to book again!! A little piece of Heaven!!!

The home was beautiful. We really appreciated the high quality items the home contained-nice bedding, toiletries, dishes and the labeled organization. The home was in the perfect location! Close to town but still felt secluded. It completely felt like a “home away from home” and was one of the best parts of our trip!

We loved everything about this cabin. It was in the perfect location and was close to everything we wanted to do. We loved the cabin itself, from the inside to the outside, and our girls loved it as well. Our favorite part was seeing a bear our very first night right below the cabin! We will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future.

Fantastic property and owners. Everything was exactly as described. Cabin has everything you could need for a great stay. Close to many places but also tucked away for privacy and peace. More than enough room for 4 people and could easily fit 5-6. Was lucky enough to see bears on 3 different occasions right off the back deck. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone!

Great cabin! Very clean. Nice touch to have a TV and fireplace in both bedrooms, living room and family room. Liked having ceiling fans in living room and bedrooms, along with standing fans in each room to adjust temperature. Kitchen was nicely set up with all you need, crock pot, smoothie maker, large toaster, coffee & k-cup maker, even cups, plates & bowls for kids. Night lights in bathrooms and other rooms which we’ve never seen. They are good to have when in an unfamiliar home. Bathrooms had nice soap and bath spray. Host was very responsive to all our text. We grilled one evening and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub (very clean). Pool table and pac-man game was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again when returning to the area.

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for a short getaway. When it comes to places to stay, I can get a bit obsessive in finding the perfect place. Well this cabin was it! Bear In Mind is exceptionally clean. It is conveniently located yet feels secluded. The decor is beautiful and you can tell that there was a lot of thought that went into making it comfortable for guests. Richele was quick to respond to any messages and just a pleasure to work with.

Cabin was a great place to stay with easy access to Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park.Property was very clean, and the owners communicate with you very well.Our family enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again.
