Fantastic House, great view in the heart of the Perigord Noir underneath the Castle of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle. Wonderful garden with a nice Swimmingpool. Absolutely recommended for everyone who wants to discovery this very beautiful Part of France.

Cute cabin! Perfect for a couples getaway. VERY clean--I'm very OCD'ish and this cabin exceeded my expectations about cleanliness. The owner is very responsive and super nice. Will definitely stay at other properties she hosts.

Cozy Cabin

Seirra was a very responsive host. If I had any question she got back to me within minutes. Kitchen is well stocked she even had a crockpot. The shower is amazing. Perfect little cabin for our anniversary getaway.

This cabin is phenomenal! We had an amazing trip. The shower is incredible. The patio is amazing with fireplace and jacuzzi. We had a great week and enjoyed the cabin immensely. It’s close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so you can explore both easily! The owner is excellent and responsive when you have a question. Highly recommend this cabin!

This was mine and my fiancé’s second trip to this cabin! We absolutely love staying here, it’s like our home away from home. We like to think it’s our own place and we treat it as such! We will be back , just not sure when, we look forward to staying at your wonderful cabin again!

Great cabin

The cabin looked just like it did in the photos. The place was clean and beautiful. The drive up was a bit scary for me the first time but after that it was fine. Beautiful, clean cabin with a really cool shower. We had a few minor issues when we arrived but the host text back right away. Great communication the entire time .

WIFI password was not on the refrigerator as in the check in email listed. Also, no starter shampoo/conditioner, no black washcloths, fitted bed sheet wouldn't stay on and stains on pad underneath, and many light bulbs burnt out.

Black Bear Ridge Review

biggest pro here is proximity to gatlinburg strip and the hiking trails. biggest con is the view off the back deck. not the best. if youre looking for clear views of the smokies, this is not your ideal place. Its still a nice place overall though. Some critiques: needs some attention to the curb appeal. bulbs were out in the master bedroom and on the deck. outdoor fireplace wouldn't turn on. Not sure if gas was turned off or not. bathroom tub had a contstant leak from the faucet. mattress wasnt the worst I have ever slept on but for sure not the best. Cool shower. a little challenging to figure out the hot water controls but a nice shower for two. it is NOT a sauna FYI. Overall I would give it an A-/B+ For the price per night I was hoping for some better views. 2 nights was over $700

Great smoky experience!

Great place to use as a central operations site to visit the smoky and Gatlinburg, the pictures of the cabin fall short on it, making a very good surprise to arrive to the cabin.
