Our room was fine, though I can't say it was good. There was evidence of water damage on the roof tiles, and the bathroom tiles had dirty grout, quite a bit of grime build-up in the tub, and some of the tiles were pushing out of the wall, which tells me there have been some significant leaks and water damage there, too. There were three floppy pillows on the bed but we made do. Our room was above the restaurant which was really loud, so I turned the fan on the AC unit to muffle it a bit and get some sleep. If I were a fussy person it definitely would have not worked.
The location is excellent, though, even though the road was ripped up for a watermain replacement (municipal upgrades are definitely outside the responsibility of the hotel itself, but some communication about access would have been helpful).
