Excellent family getaway
Our 3-generation family really enjoyed the calm and green surrounding of the property. We also enjoyed playing tennis and exploring the nearby Currumbin rock pool. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything we needed was provided. Check in was easy and friendly. The property manager Talissa was very responsive.

A beautiful, peaceful and well-equipped retreat
Our family group of 14, covering 4 generations, felt very well-catered for. The well-zoned indoor and outdoor living spaces, plus pool, tennis court and pool table, offered plenty of options/entertainment for all and ensured we were not living on top of each other. At the end of each day we would congregate to watch the sun set over the spectacularly picturesque landscape, and listen to the wildlife. The fact that photography couldn’t do the views justice, meant that phones were abandoned and views/company simply enjoyed. It’s a 20 minute drive to supermarkets, so being organised for food was important. We relied mainly on the BBQ though the kitchens are well-equipped. Our only ‘slight’ frustration was with the lights, with switches illogically located and shining through some bedroom windows at night. Highly recommend!

Great weekend away with family and friends l
Great property for a large group for a weekend away in Currumbin Valley. There is something for everyone across the 2 houses here. Driving up and down the valley can get a bit tedious so I would suggest buying all groceries before arriving, but even then not a problem. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful house
Our bridal party stayed here for our wedding and the house was beautiful! No negatives really, except the internet was out for our entire stay, but this is of no fault of the property managers as the Telstra network was affected. The pool was great and so was the tennis court. Would 100% stay again!

Secluded slice of paradise
This property was perfect for our stay over the weekend. There was plenty of space for all of my wife's large family and their kids. The kitchen was modern and large enough to cater for everyone. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the bathrooms were lux. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much to Talissa for being a perfect host.

Beautiful location for a getaway
We had the best experience staying at this beautiful property. Talissa, the owner, welcomed us and fully explained everything about the property, very helpful. Because this property is generously equipped, our family of 9 were very well catered to. It made our holiday all the more relaxing and pleasant. Talissa's personal service is wonderful and an unexpected plus to staying here. We would definitely recommend to our friends and would love to come back one day.

Absolutely Stunning, photos don't do it justice
When you first drive into the gated property your jaw drops, the house looks over the valley and we have never experienced a sunset like it. Truly spectacular. The property had everthing we needed for a group of 13 people. A fully stocked kitchen of crockery and appliances, living spaces with 2 huge outdoor areas. We had a great time using the pool table in the cottage and use of the full size tennis court. Everything from our check in process with Talissa to our relaxed final morning enjoying our coffee taking in the final views, was perfect.

Great house and great location.
We booked this beautiful home with a small group of friends after our wedding. The house is gorgeous with a large kitchen which is great for groups. The gardens around the house and pool are beautiful and we loved the disco Buddha statue. Only downside is that the beds are very very soft - so much so that my husband and I slept in the kids room bunk beds on our wedding night.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Tomewin Mountain Retreat. We are sorry to hear that you found the mattress too soft for you and your husband. Mattress types are such a personal preference. We have never had a complaint before from guests.

The stay was lovely, the area is absolutely stunning! The only negative was that before 10am the property manager and cleaners arrived and made us feel like we needed to vacate immediately. Given how many people stay at the property, we expected a little bit of leniency on the check out

Amazing secluded location for a relaxing weekend away
The house is amazing! A great place to just sit back relax and take in the gorgeous sunset over the mountains every evening. The house is very well furnished with absolutely everything you need. We would have loved to have been able to check out the local area if it wasn't for all the rain. Regardless, would definitely stay again!!

The property was excellent for our annual girls weekend away. 12 women fit comfortably and there were enough space and hang out areas that we could all relax! Great weekend away with friends
The property is great for such a large group 10). The location and surrounding bushland setting was beautiful, the house was well appointed including manager support, features, views and activities. There should be an additional powder room at least for so many people, there were some maintenance issues (showers and basin just loose - nothing major) and some of the dishes and surfaces/corners were not overly clean. These were nothing major and we all had a wonderful weekend and got to well and truly relax!
