This was a modest home (which we expected). It was very clean and we felt welcomed there. I would have liked a nicer backyard, but it’s a very pet friendly place and it was a dog friendly space. All in all, I would have given them 4 stars if I could.

We had a great time at Molly’s place. The open concept and large dining area made it THE perfect gathering spot on our rainy day. The large deck seating area was perfect on the good days. We had so much fun. It’s THE perfect place to book an escape, because literally everything…beach, Grand Marias shopping area, restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shop, town children’s playground, museums, marina, it’s all within a short walking distance. I got to talk with Molly over the phone, and she’s an excellent hostess. We highly recommend the “Stone’s Throw.” Almost forgot… there’s a fire ring for a campfire! It was perfect

Lovely beach side retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at Molly’s wonderful beach house. Lots of room for everyone, clean and close to Lake Superior’s wonderful beach. Fantastic little town too.

It was absolutely a perfect place to stay. Very short walk to the beach. This home came with everything you could think about taking, if you forgot something no worries it's there.Found a bunch of yooperlite rocks, absolutely incredible. Can't wait to book again next year!!!

We loved staying at The Stone'sThrow! Molly is an extraordinary host and a joy to talk with.The house is literally a stone's throw from Agate Beach - gorgeous at all times of the day! Eight Siblings Annual Get-together

It was perfect for our reunion! Sharing a house is much better than a hotel and A Stone's Throw was spacious and comfortable, just the right size for the eight of us brothers and sisters. Walking distance to the beach and town was a bonus!

Great location for Lake Superior access

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the house was perfect for the beach. We were able to keep our boat in the bay and the driveway easily accommodated our trailer. The house was nicely stocked with whatever we could’ve needed. We had plenty of everything from toilet paper to firewood!

amazing location!

We loved being able to walk to the beach at the lake. The kids enjoyed using the sand toys provided. It was unusually warm during our stay, but there was enough breeze during the night to cool the house. The firepit was a relaxing end to our day as well.

Clean and comfortable, great location!

Everything was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Fans in each room which was nice and the futon was comfortable as well for sleeping. Kitchen was nice and had plenty of counter space to prepare/serve meals. It was also nice to have a drip coffee maker as well as the K cup. The sensor light between the bedroom off the kitchen and the bathroom/laundry room was a great idea! * If I had 1 thing to recommend, it would be to put a hand rail on the steps that go up to the deck to the dining room as my mom is 86 and was a little difficult for her. It was a very nice place to stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us.
