Not Sure What to say
Would Advise getting the insurance and taking pictures of everything, immediately offered to pay for "Damages", after investigating, i think possibly damages were done to the table by their cleaners, not sure.. Not Us.. An old bifold door that was off the track on arrival, and we are asked to pay to have it popped back into place.. We use VRBO quite a bit, and not used to dealing with things like this. I guess That is all i will say

Beautiful Lakefront Views
We love the beautiful lakefront views! Sunrise over the lake is stunning. The cabin is bright and welcoming and the views can be enjoyed inside or out. We especially enjoy the dock, kayaks, fire pit and being able to bring our dog. We had a wonderful stay!

Exactly what I was looking for
A lake place, just like the ones I remembered when I lived in Minnesota. Growing up, we all went to “the lake” every weekend. Sometimes people thought everyone went to the same lake! But no, going to the lake meant staying at a “cabin” that wasn’t winterized. Now the cabin at the lake can be a modern house, like this vrbo. Complete with a mated pair of loons that called to each other several times a day. The lake itself was clean and clear, and beautiful, and no noisy jet skis and speed boats. Perfect.

Great cabin stay
We had a great cabin stay on a nice little lake. The entry to the water and lake were great for kids playing as well as kayaking and fishing. Plenty of room to sleep our family of 6. We hope to come again.

Charming lake with loon family
Love the size of the lake and a beautiful view from the house. Very comfortable house with all amenities provided. My only complaint is the busy street noise that at times, blocked out the serenity of the lake.

Great cabin on beautiful lake
The cabin was clean, well stocked and the lake was great. We swam every day and caught lots of fish. Grand Rapids was a close, drive. A great place to spend a week with family.

Great family getaway
Cute home on a quiet lake. Had plenty of linens, paper products/cleaning essentials, and well stocked kitchen. Sunrise and sunset views across the lake from the living room or outdoor deck are gorgeous. Owners were friendly and had excellent communication. Short drive into town for anything you need. The only thing we didn’t love was the well water but that was very minor. Would definitely come back!

Nice
We had fun here. It was good for biking the Mesabi Trail. After staying here I can see it would be fantastic for hot summer days and spending time at the lake.I would strongly recommend it for that! It was also dark enough that we could see the Nothern Lights. Good for city folks.

Cozy Stay for the Family
This cabin was the perfect spot to stay during Thanksgiving! The lake view was beautiful, especially the sunrises, and was so peaceful. Our family had a wonderful time there together. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Updated and very cute property!

Great Getaway
My wife and I came up for a quick get away after our wedding. What a beautiful view of the lake from the property. We had a lovely time relaxing and doing a bit of fishing as well. Caught a 20" bass and 36" northern which was pretty fun. Overall, what a great place to stay that is close to town for a perfect getaway.

Just what we needed
It was clean and exactly what we needed for a one-night stay on our way north. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. The kayaks were a great touch and the lake is very peaceful. The home is on a busy road but otherwise it was enjoyable.

Great spot on the lake
The cabin was very cute and the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, etc. The large deck was very nice, as well as direct access to the lake and kayaks to use! We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Close but far
Loved this little cabin. Up to date appliances, great view from the deck in the morning and evening. Close to town and things to do, yet also far enough out that you still have the country feel. Definitely will plan on staying here again my next trip to the area.

We stayed at the cabin for because we were in the area doing work in a project in Grand Rapids. It was very convenient to and from and had all the things I. The kitchen to make meals. I hope to stay again when we finish the project. Thank you

Comfortable house on small lake
This house was clean, bedding comfortable, kitchen very friendly for all meals, and gorgeous view of the lake. We stayed in the winter and enjoyed ice fishing, cross county skiing many trails nearby, and a free ice rink and warming house in Cohasset at Portage Park. Location is great; 5 min from Grand Rapids. We loved our stay. Thank you for providing a lovely home on your lake for us to enjoy!

Cozy and convenient!
Great place to stay for my family! Perfect location, clean, and fully stocked with all the essentials plus more. It was so nice to have toys, books, and dish ware for our almost 3 year old. The hill to the lake was a perfect for sledding. Easy place to snowmobile to and from as well! Plenty of space for four adults and two kids. We would book again!

The little cabin that could
We stayed for 3 nights after Christmas, rough drive through a snowstorm that didn't end until well into our first day. The purpose of our trip was walk-out ice fishing and just enjoying some time together. This was my 2nd time using VRBO. Some thoughts: Hosts were good with communication, very prompt to questions all the way from booking to check out. View is really nice, for winter it was great, gotta think summer is even better. Amenities are well stocked, all modern and clean. Can't think of anything we were missing. Thanks for being pet friendly! Dog had a great time too. Basement space was great for drying out all the stuff we got full of snow from being on the lake. Good supply of games, TV setup was nice. Cribbage table was a hit. Good location close enough to town for supply runs but fairly free of road noise. Beds very comfy. Master BR was warm despite sub-zero temps. Side rooms for kids seemed colder but they didn't complain. Snow removal service was really good and prompt! Only a few very very minor complaints / gotchas: Couches not comfy for my tall frame, too low, personal preference! Water kinda strange smell / taste - host warned us ahead of time to bring our own drinking water. Garage not usable for vehicle in winter (used for summer storage) - not a huge deal, but had a lot of snow to clean up when we had to leave. Be careful stepping onto the lake, large dropoff hidden by the fresh snow! Would stay here again, the snowstorm made it difficult to do much other than ice fish fairly close to the house so we didn't get to explore as much as we originally planned. Good fishing on the lake, lots of crappie, and I expect we could do even better under different weather. Speaking of, if you go fishing, highly suggest the friendly folks at River Rat bait and tackle.

Deer hunting
It was a really nice property. The view of the lake was fantastic. We were up for deer hunting so we were away most of the time but after a long day in the woods and an early morning, it was a comfortable place to come back and enjoy.

Lovely place on the lake
This was a lovely place to stay for a week. We were there “off season” so there wasn’t a lot to do but the surroundings are beautiful and the cabin was well stocked, clean and had an awesome view! Convenient to Grand Rapids where we visited the dog park every day!

Nice little house
This is a nice house in a great location far enough away from town to get away but close enough for the conveniences of town. The communication with the owners was great. The kitchen was well enough equipped that we cooked every meal. I would recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in the area

Short getaway
We arrived late in the evening but was able to find the place with ease. It was located on a busy street so you could hear the vehicles going by. Spend a lot of time on the deck enjoying meals and viewing the lake. Our kids enjoyed fishing from the kayaks. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great house, very nicely decorated and very clean. Three large decks and a dock with two chairs.
We all felt it was an excellent house and location. The two bedrooms were separated by a bath and another bedroom, so it was very quiet sleeping. Large screen TV with Youtube. Very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake.

Perfect cabin getaway!
Our family and another family stayed together for the weekend to play at the lake. The house was clean and exactly at pictured. I was grateful for the air conditioning on these hot summer days. The boys were thrilled to share the bunk room and had a blast with the toys!

Quiet Northwoods Small Lake
The property is located off a fairly busy road, however the owners took great care in placing a front privacy fence. You don’t go to the cabin to sit out front anyway. You go for the lake side. :) They have redone every inch of this cute house. It’s light and bright. Updated decor and appliances. It’s really a stunner on the inside. The back deck is layered into three landings leading to the lake. The dock is new and makes for easy access to this clear clean lake. With only minor Snafu’s (huge storm first night 😯, garage door handle unusable!) the owners were on top of it all. They really want you to have a nice time and it shows! You cannot go wrong with this cute little yellow cabin.

Family Vacation 2021
What a nice and relaxing vacation! This little cabin perfectly accommodated our family, it had everything we needed for a worry-free stay. Nice and clean, plenty of space and the water was great for paddle boarding and swimming. We brought our corn hole game which made for a fun competition down by the lake shore, caught a nice sized bass from the dock and roasted marsh mellows at the fire pit! I would recommend this little gem to anyone and will probably return next year if the timing is right. Thanks so much for a great stay!!

Memorial Weekend in Little Ass Lake
Wanted something close to Deer Lake so that we could socialize with other family members over the holiday. This cabin was perfect, exceeded my expectations. Comfortable sleeping for four people, a kitchen with everything we needed, even a washer and dryer. The best part was the expansive deck overlooking Little Bass Lake—such a quiet, peaceful experience! The only downside was that our stay was too short. Thank you!!

Small, Quiet Lake
We had a great experience. From check in to check out it was seamless. It is a nice, quiet lake that it also close to town. We appreciated being able use the kayak that was on property! We also greatly appreciated how kid friendly the cabin was. We weren’t expecting there to be toys or anything. But there were books, toys, and even a pac n play available for use.
