The clerk who checked us in thursday night was EXTREMELY helpful. Everything we needed was in our large room 8020. The large refrigerator was excellent for our needs. We will definitely come back here

The Grass Valley Courtyard Suites felt like a boutique hotel, including the personalized service from the staff. It’s location is a great mix of a quiet neighborhood and close to the restaurants and pedestrian mall in Old Town Grass Valley

We love this place! This is the second time we have stayed and the staff is so amazing, we love that they bring in the fur babies, and we love that we can walk to shopping. We will stay here every time we come for our girls trip to Grass Valley!

The property was beautiul and the rooms absolutely perfect. First thing I check out is COFFEE. Never before have I had coffee grinds so I can make the coffee as strong as I love. No stale weak coffee. Thank you!

This is a very nice property. The staff are great. Breakfast was solid. The bed was much, much firmer than what I am used to, but I slept pretty well. Very close to downtown, so totally walkable, which was nice

Wonderful stay!
This place is so warm & welcoming! Diana, Kyra, and Carol took great care of us - we wanted to stay longer. Room was super comfortable and clean (loved the memory foam mattress!). The lobby is filled with art, a nice cozy hangout with a friendly kitty to greet you. Breakfast was awesome, including the made-to-order “wamlets” (omelets made on a waffle maker). This is now our “go to” when we’re in Grass Valley.

Old fashioned hospitality! That’s rare these days. Thoughtful items provided in the room like real coffee and half n half. We got fresh made omelets for breakfast. We will Definitely return.

Property was very acceptable. Our room had a balcony we thought it was a patio. Openeddoor to outside /Having a patio to enjoy some outside air plus the day was nice and warm that day was beautiful. It needed to be swept from old brown leaves and bench at least dusted. Otherwise nice stay in a very nice room

Definitely worth the stay
I was so happy with this hotel. We got a suite and it was perfect. We have 2 kids that are big enough that they could sleep in one queen bed, but with the sofa bed, it gives them the comfort of their own bed. Breakfast was excellent! They make omelets for you in waffle makers which is genius! The gym is not an afterthought as it is in most hotels. It's actually large with a lot of equipment. And only a half a block off the main street you don't need to drive anywhere. Only 'issues' would have been (and these are so minor) if they stocked extra trash bags, paper towels in the room and more accessible outlets in the bedroom.

A Christmas birthday (bah humbug!) redeemed by a marvelous, restful stay at GVCS! I usually give up trying to have any kind of birthday in the middle of Christmas hubbub time. I think we found a new annual tradition to remedy that problem! GVCS was a wonderful holiday getaway. Hubby and I were impressed by the delightful, helpful staff, the included *real* breakfast (wamlettes, yum), tons of parking, and convenient, walkable location. We loved our spacious king balcony room, which overlooked the pool and hot tub. Being winter, the pool wasn't open but the hot tub was, as were all the other amenities. We didn't get around to the sauna but it looked inviting. We will be back, maybe sooner than my next birthday!

Girls trip , fantastic choice!
Girls trip for a performance and we’d stayed here before . Loved it again this time . Clean , very comfortable and wonderful staff . Bummed the hot tub was only tepid , but it didn’t ruin the trip . Will come back !

The inn is conveniently located only a couple blocks from downtown shopping, dining and theaters. Walking into the welcoming lobby is like entering a warm and friendly gathering area. Staff are welcoming and helpful. One can start your evening with wine, cheese and snacks. Start your morning with a nice breakfast. The room is spacious and very clean. Crisp sheets, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Altogether a lovely place to stay!

Not a typical hotel. Set up so theres space between building's & we had covered parking! Wow! Comfy too. Forgot to trll them to check the toilet- sometimes it didn’t stop.
