Buena opción para ferry entre islas
Parada de una noche para tomar ferry al día siguiente. El hotel está bien, buena cama y buena ducha. Muy bien situado con paseo agradable en los alrededores tanto zona puerto como centro histórico de la ciudad Aparcar el coche es complicado, calle muy estrecha sin parking

Habitación pequeña precio alto
El personal es muy amable y servicial, pero la habitación estándar es tan pequeña que no sabes dónde poner el equipaje abierto, en cambio el precio no es pequeño. Si volviera a esa población, buscaría otras opciones

Agradable, aunque mejorable.
Sólo fue una noche. El hotel está muy bien ubicado y es en general muy agradable, aunque es caro para la habitación que nos dieron, ya que era un poco pequeña para tres personas. Igualmente, la puerta del baño, muy de diseño, es incómoda, ya que es de cristal y cuando hay una persona dentro, los demás perciben toda la luz encendida.

Great Hotel with a Perfect Location. Near Restaurants and Bars and the Airport as well is 10 min away by car. For my next visit to Heraklion Lato will be my Choice.

From a short stay
We just spend the night after a late arrival to Heraklion. Everything was OK. Staff was quite nice and helpful. It was surprising that bees stated in the website that parking was included we left the car to the valet parking and found it in the morning properly parked in the street. Nor a problem but striking for me.

Os lo recomiendo 100%
Hotel muy bien situado, cerca de todo (puerto, centro, estación de autobuses que te llevan a knossos, aeropuerto ..). Desayuno perfecto, muy generoso y abundante. Las personas de la recepción son muy eficaces y siempre nos han ayudado en todo. Habitaciones muy correctas, así como el baño. Fuimos por semana santa y nos dieron velas y huevos duros (bonito detalle).

Era un anexo al hotel en otro edificio.
Me decepciono el ver que mi ventana estaba a ras de la calle y no podía subir la persiana por que me veía toda la gente que pasaba por delante y todos los huéspedes del edificio principal del hotel, cuando entraban y salían. La reposicion del baño y los cafes no se llevaban a cabo diariamente.

Excelente ubicación, moderno y recién renovado
Me gustó mucho la ubicación. El desayuno muy completo y en un salón muy agradable. Las piezas que tuvimos fueron en un edificio contiguo, son un poco pequeñas pero cómodas.

Hôtel très bien placé et qui plus est, avec une très jolie vue sur le port pour certaines chambres. Celles ci sont bien équipées et fotesd8d'une literie très confortable.

Our stay was good. The top floor water view room was very nice with a spacious patio and two bathrooms. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Disappointing. It needs an updating. No, outlets for cell phone or tablets. Bed wasn’t comfortable. Wouldn’t stay here again. Fine for college kids…The staff ( except for the guy that checked me in ) were SUPER NICE!

Dependable stalwart
Our room (310) had a terrific balcony (that you could play football on) with an even greater view of the fishing harbor and ocean. However the heat pump/AC unit was on the blink and the room (especially bathroom) had a bit of a musty smell. It’s a bit strange that the doors of this hotel’s rooms do not have peepholes for security, as most hotels have today. Also, the shower did not have a bracket for the attaching the handheld shower to the wall. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years and — for the first time — got the feeling that general maintenance has suffered a bit as of late. As always, parking is also bit dicey although there is a parking garage (Central Parking) closeby that gives a discount with a validated parking stub.

Hotell ligger bra till och nära till det vi ville se. Men det var väldigt lyhört, varje gång någon spolade på toa från övervåningar hördes det i rummet 😩 Sedan var det alla flygplan som startade och flög över hotellet sent in på natten. Så sömnen blev inte så bra. Men frukosten var bra iaf 😃

Wie schon einige Rezensenten hier schrieben, liegt das Hotel sehr gut zwischen Hafen und Altstadt. Ich möchte noch hinzufügen, dass auch der Busbahnhof von KTEL fußläufig erreichbar ist, von wo aus Ausflüge unternommen werden können, Das Personal des Hotels hat und sehr freundlich aufgenommen und uns eine schöne Zeit bereitet. Das Zimmer mit Hafen- und Meeresblick war umwerfend. Das Frühstück bot eine reichhaltige Auswahl. Da der Flugplatz von Heraklion sehr nahe ist, sollte man nachts die Fenster bzw. Balkontüren schließen. Die Qualität des Bettes war sehr hoch und bot guten Schlaf. Ich empfehle das Lato-Hotel uneingeschränkt.

The rooms are dated and the balcony view we got was a half sea view. Not like what I reserved that showed the fortress. The lobby is shabby. Only good thing about this place is a discounted nearby parking garage.

Dear Mike thank you for staying at Lato Boutique Hotel. We appreciate the opportunity to refer to our Superior Sea View rooms. Sea View rooms are considered those with view to the sea. Some overlook the fortress and some the Venetian port. Your rooms on the third floor is among a few featuring a terrace rather than a balcony, in order to enjoy most of the sun and the sea breeze. We do regret it did not meet your expectations. In such case we advise our guests to adress to the front office in order to find the best alternative - given the availability.Kindly note that all our rooms were renovated on 2022 so as to provide freshness, light and comfort. The staff was helpful and the sack lunch they gave us when we left before the breakfast was available was much appreciated. However the hotel is in need of a refresh. The pictures of it were accurate, maybe 5 or more years ago? Everything was a bit worn and dingy. So marks on the wall, the bed just at the edge of still comfortable, pillows that were on their way out, the towels thin and skimpy, and so on. It was an okay place to stay for the night, and our view was lovely, but don't expect what you see in the pictures.

Dear Ilsabe, thank you for your significant feedback. We appreciate all your remarks as they give us the opportunity to check and rectify. Due to the season's occupancy it was rather difficult to proceed in the room's maintenance. Nevertheless kindly note that we have already proceed in the thin towels replacement and all stains thoroughly removed. Our housekeeping is now registering any pillow or matress that needs to be replaced. Quirky hotel with different elevators for different parts of the hotel, but otherwise a nice stay. Clean, with friendly and very helpful staff. Very nice breakfast included. Good location, with view of the harbor and easy walk to restaurants, shops, etc.

Excellent place to stay in Heraklion. Within easy walking distance to the old town, archeological museum, port, and bus station. Lots of good restaurants all nearby. Friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms. Oh, a fantastic breakfast buffet is included.
