Lovely hotel, friendly staff and beautiful grounds, in a great location. Room was a bit basic, but clean and tidy. Food was very good and the free bus to town a nice touch, although late both times (must be Greek time) we booked this. Also hired a couple of quads from Aegean near Reception. All in all everything was good.

The property was beautiful, quiet and very accommodating to my wife and I. Anything needed or requested was handled by the staff quickly and appropriately. Definitely 5 star hotel with all amenities needed. The staff were the nicest people in Athens who made us feel special. If you are thinking about staying here, book your room now you will not be disappointed.

We spent a week here in August 2023 for our family summer holiday. The hotel is lovely and staff were really helpful. It is a short walk to two beaches (2 minutes and 5 minutes) and they also have a free daily shuttle to and from both the beaches and Skiathos town. It is a 25 minute bus ride to the town, which has lots of lovely restaurants, especially along the port. If you get off at bus stop 4 (the hotel is bus stop 22) and walk down to the port, you get to see the lovely back streets. Just be aware that the hotel doesn’t have a lift and there are also lots of stairs down to the bus stop and to the beach, so if you have mobility issues the hotel maybe tricky. All in all it was a lovely stay and I recommended booking the Mama Mia boat tour at the hotel, even if you aren’t a fan of the movie, it’s a lovely day out (adults cost €40 each and €25 for a child).

Skiathos ja, Palace eher nicht (nur für 70er Nosta
für diese Preisklasse in Griechenland, bedeutend zu wenig Keine Liegestühle am Strand für das Hotel, das Frühstück sehr basic, nur mit upgrade, sind die zimmer schön (superior war nicht sehr gut geputzt und dunkel, alte durchgeliegene Betten), executive war ok (aber nicht für diesen Preis) scheinbar, gemäss taxifahrer, ein bekanntes Problem zudem: man muss « gut » zu Fuss sein, denn ohne Treppensteigen geht gar nichts (man kommt nicht mal ins Zimmer oder zum Frühstück) Skiathos und der Strand sind jedoch toll:) gerade für Familien ÖV gut organisiert, ebenso mit den Taxis.

Staff are very friendly and hospitable, Hotel’s free shuttle service to drop off and pick up from and to the port is very convenient. I love Greek people. The clear turquoise water of the many beaches around is stunningly beautiful. I would definitely would like to come back.

An incredible hotel, very plush and beautiful surroundings. The views are to die for. Right next to 2 beaches and on the bus route to skiathos town. We would love to stay again.

Surtout ne rien avoir à demander !
Surtout, ne rien avoir à demander ! Ça s’annonçait bien : Chambre exécutive (320 € la nuit) un peu vieillotte et salle de bain vétuste, mais agréable avec belle terrasse et superbe vue mer. Et puis, le grain de sable : La climatisation ne fonctionne pas, les ennuis commencent : Personnel à l’accueil sans écoute et complètement inefficace (ne parlons même pas d’empathie !). Toute la matinée perdue en discussions stériles pour aboutir finalement à notre décision, en désespoir de cause, de prendre une chambre de catégorie supérieure pour 30€ supplémentaires par nuit (le petit geste commercial qui coûte peu à l’hôtel mais compte beaucoup pour le client, ici on ne connaît pas !). Dans tout ça, à nos questions et demandes, des réponses robotisées (« je fais le maximum… je ne peux pas vous dire… dès que possible…”) Pour information par ailleurs, la plage publique (pas de plage privée) a laquelle on accède à pied en traversant la route (bruyante) ou par navette est surpeuplée Ajoutons que le personnel (sauf quelques exceptions), ne sourit pas et n’a pas l’air tres heureux dans son travail. Exemple : On demande des glaçons au bar de la piscine que l’on obtient … de mauvaise grâce (sans un mot, sans un regard, sans un sourire) Enfin, la dernière nuit, des bruits de rangement au dessus de notre chambre (semblant venir du restaurant) nous ont réveillés a partir de 5h du matin Bref, hôtel-usine pour tourisme de masse avec très belle situation géographique mais dépersonnali

Lovely Week and Would Go Again!
Our stay at the Skiathos palace hotel was lovely and would definitely go again. We had organised transfers to and from the airport which was very easy to do over a couple of emails. After being checked in we were pleased to find out that we’d be given a free upgrade! We were able to have some food and made our way to the room. The room was tidy and the view was great looking over the bay. Food wise you can expect a traditional buffet style with choices of salad/starters and deserts. There is a pool bar throughout the day, where you can order salads, sandwiches, burgers etc. Unfortunately the other restaurant was being renovated at the time so didn’t get to try that. The hotel is located right outside the number 22 bus stop, was very easy to catch the bus into town or back to the hotel (there’s only one route) as well as the shuttle that runs in-between their sister hotel on the harbour. The pool area was a good size although probably a little more cramped I imagine come peak summer season. So would advice getting in early. The sun is available all day from up there so I wouldn’t worry too much about what spot you get. Towels can be got from the gift shop each day, which was a nice bonus. Only downside was the lack of fitness facilities and entertainment in the evening. Would have been nice to have used the great big and lovely lounge more for people to watch a band or something. If you are planning on going to the beach as well it’s €20 per umbrella.

+ Fint och stort rymligt rum och hotellområde generellt, superfin utsikt, härlig pool och bra lunchrestaurang vid poolen. Fin strand precis nedanför hotellet men mindre folk. Bra massage på spa:et för OK pris! Skön säng och sköna solstolar. Tips är Mystique Beach Club i närheten med 10-15 min promenad bort. - Servicen var inte speciellt bra, väldigt mycket svinn på hotellfrukosten då dem la på för mycket mat på tallriken varje gång. Fanns transfer in till Skithos Stad men det var en liten bil så blev fullbokad väldigt snabbt och taxi från hotellet var dyrt.

I would have liked a tea/coffee making facility in the room. However there was a fridge for cold drinks. The hotel was very good. Clean, wonderful views. Very attentive staff and 2 excellent beaches nearby. The hotel pool was good with the bonus of a friendly lifeguard

Nice stay with view of the bay of Koukounaries
Advantages: • Well equipped, daily cared big hotel with parking space; • Overall nice & friendly personnel; • Great small beach that can be reached on feet through a path with stairs (Marathas beach); • Proximity to Koukounaries beach (car still needed to go); • Very good bed, nice view though balcony could be bigger, good flat screen TV, great bathroom. What can be improved: • Though Marathas beach facilities are provided by the hotel, they make their guests pay 10€ for a ser of 2 sunbeds - this is unacceptable from a 4☆ hotel!! • Overall the hotel is not very cozy but rather impersonal; • Wi-Fi is not secured; • Breakfast is not good quality, orange juice is not freshly squeezed, the overall quality of breakfast is low (equivalent to a 2☆ hotel); • Room service is also poor, we asked for breakfast in the room and it was messy/late/things that arrived was not exactly what we asked for.

This is a good quality hotel in an excellent location overlooking Kookanaries Bay , the rooms and pool area are very good. The reception staff were all excellent , very friendly and helpful. The pool bar and restaurant staff were however neither friendly or helpful which seemed to be the view of most people staying there and this is a negative factor.

We spent only one night in this hotel, as we landed in Skyathos too late to catch the ferry for Skopelos. We decided to stay there because it is literally on the top of the most famous beach of Skyathos. Even if the hotel is too big and with too many guests for my taste, we had a very good experience

Hôtel excellent, pour la partie rénovée
Chambre très confortable et bien aménagée, belle vue sur la mer. Attention en revanche à bien demander une chambre dans la partie rénovée de l’hotel Certaines chambres ne sont pas encore rénovées et ne sont plus du tout à niveau. Piscine et espace petit déjeuner fort sympathique. Personnel très aimable. Attention, l’hotel ne dispose pas d’ascenseur et n’est pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite.

Location meravigliosa,la struttura ben situata e architettonicamente ben strutturata,ma i servizi,il personale deludente sotto l’aspetto professionale e l’igiene e la pulizia da denuncia.Inoltre il Wi Fi praticamente assente nelle stanze.Nonostante la presenza di circa il 70/80% di clienti italiani non c’era nessuno del personale che parlasse qualche parola di italiano.Una chicca,si fa per dire,l’assenza di asciugacapelli nelle stanze e l’impossibilità di procurarselo durante il soggiorno.

Very poor
Hotel has amazing views and a nice pool area however in general run down and the rooms were dirty. After complaining about state of rooms the cleaning service got worse some days no cleaned rooms and had to ask for clean sheets after several days and then they were left on bed for us to change ourselves and they were the wrong size.
Dirty bathroom
Sink needed a good clean
Stains on furniture and sheets
Under bed and behind easy to move furniture in room was filthy

Good location but very expensive with poor service
The hotel is in an excellent location and in the most beautiful area of the island but there are a lot of improvements in the service of the hotel. They squeeze my family in a very small room, not changing the towels everyday, no shampoo/shower gels everyday, no power plugs for everyone etc... all the amenities were very expensive and nothing free from the hotel.

If you have been allocated to a room that can fit a four member family (2adults + 2 children), we would like to mention that these rooms accommodate hundrends of families like yours every season. Regarding the changing of towels, that is something it needs to be cross examined with our housekeeping as well. Were there any days that you had a not disturb sign? We do not charge for amenities in the room and that is quite odd you are reffering to this. Please supply us with more information about your bookings and even you can contact reception to express your complaints. We are aware that a solution will be found. Kind Regards

La struttura non verifica i contatti. Ho prenotato da una dipendente lo jeep Safari per tre persone specificando che volevamo andare alla spiaggia di kechria, altrimenti non raggiungibile e prevista dalla escursione. L’autista della Dolphi, il giorno convenuto, si presenta con un suv insufficiente per sei persone, e ci porta a fare un giro che non comprendeva la spiaggia di kechria. In seguito alle nostre proteste la dipendente dell’ hotel chiamava la Dolphi e ci diceva che una settimana prima aveva piovuto e non era possibile andare in quella spiaggia. Prima che io prenotassi questo problema di una settimana prima non era stato segnalato da nessuno. Sessantanove euro moltiplicato tre persone, da noi è una frode.
