This house was just perfect for our weekend. The four bed rooms and three baths gave us plenty of room to stretch out. The kitchen was well appointed and great for making meals. The view of the lake was lovely. And, we found lots of great hiking trails near by.

The North Lake House was a wonderful place for our family of 5 to stay. The house was very clean with nice and comfortable furniture. The whole home is updated nicely. All of the bathrooms were stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, ample towels, and cotton balls and q-tips. Beds and pillows were comfortable and the pellet fire place was amazing in the chilly early mornings of our October stay.  Our kids loved the game tables in the garage! The view of the lake with the large wall of windows was absolutely delightful! The manager/owners were very responsive and did not make a fuss over the sheets that were affected when one of our kids woke with a bloody nose. They were even kind enough to ship our baby’s pajamas back to us!  All in all, great home in a peaceful location not far from Ann Arbor (or Brighton). We hope to be back!

This home was the perfect place for me and my family’s last vacation of the year! Everything in home is new and modern and it had available so many amenities like kayaks,Bluetooth speaker, everything to start fire for s’mores and all the stuff to make s’mores water toys, tubes, and anything in kitchen you may think you need they have. The lake was beautiful and we had 2 day boat rental from place they suggested and it was nice to have own dock and boat launch so close. It was amazing stay to say the least.

This was a perfect location for a family to just kick back and enjoy each other, especially little ones. Lots of birdlife. The lake bottom is sandy up to the dock and perfect for kids. The beds were very comfy with crisp linens. We had everything we needed and more. The garage was delightful with foosball and ping-pong, and a big sectional to sit on while barbecuing and watching the water. There is a somewhat busy dirt road between the lake and the house, but it wasn't a problem. The owner was very attentive and responsive with communications. We would definitely go back

Our whole family looks forward to our vacation together every year, since we are coming from NC, GA & WA! This newly remodeled, beautiful house on the lake served us well! We had such a good time kayaking every day & we also conveniently rented a pontoon boat for two days which provided even more family fun! The kids had a blast! In addition, the location of this home was excellent in regard to many other sightseeing & shopping opportunities. The house was immaculate & provided everything we needed. Communication with Claire, the PM was easy & she was always extremely helpful. Overall, another wonderful week together! We would come back in a heartbeat!

5 cousins, from Florida and North Carolina with roots in Michigan made our way home for a long week remembering our uncle who passed. Thank you to Claire for making our DAY BEFORE booking so easy and accommodating. Your communication was really helpful and the property is beautiful!!! My quiet morning on the kayak was so peaceful. We all highly recommend! Thank you!

We stayed 5 days during our son's graduation from UM. While it's approx. a 30 min drive from Ann Arbor, it was a perfect location for us to get out of the craziness of AA during this time. Enjoying the evenings watching the sunsets over the lake was perfect ends to each days activities. The house has all the amenities needed, including fully stocked kitchen for all our cooking needs. The beds were also very comfortable and it helped to have the 3 full baths for us to get ready in each morning. While we didn't have time to take advantage of the lake, we hope to return to use the kayaks and play some foosball in the future. Lastly, Claire was a wonderful host who checked in on us shortly after we arrived and made sure we felt comfortable.

Property was exactly as advertised Plenty of room for family of eight Home was very nice, view of the lake was very pretty I realize that renting in the winter you take your chances with the weather. We were sad that it was foggy, cloudy and rainy the whole week but did not snow. May have to come back in the summer to enjoy the nicer weather and lake

Very clean and nice house, and had all the amenities needed. Lake water was very warm and clean! Only suggestions are cushions for dining room chairs, extra fans for upstairs and few more garage bins.

Nice location, right near the lake (there is a somewhat busy dirt road between house and lake), great fishing! We enjoyed the cute down of Dexter and the local restaurants, a day of boating with N&K Marine and the kayaks were a big plus. Friendly owners and a nice, relaxing week by the lake!

We went and stayed with friends at this lovely lake front house. From the time we got there until the time we left everything was perfect. My family and I had an excellent experience here. My husband and I brought our 5 year old and 2 year old twins. The host, Claire, was extremely responsive and very helpful including when we accidentally locked ourselves out! The home was beautifully finished and we only had to temporarily hide a few things from our curious 2 year old twins. We did use 2 baby gates to keep them out of the kitchen for most of our stay. The shallow waterfront was wonderful for all our kids to splash around and we took advantage of the kayaks as well. Chelsea, MI offered a nice outdoor playground at Pierce Park with soft serve ice cream a short walk away and an excellent indoor playground with great coffee at the Treehouse. This was a wonderful place to stay to turn a family visit near metro Detroit into more of a vacation. Thanks very much!

We had a fantastic week at North Lake Stay. The home is a recent remodel and in great shape. The beds were hotel quality and very soft and luxurious. The mini split A/C really kept up nicely even with the humidity. We rented a pontoon from L&K Marine and they delivered it for us to the boat launch a few hundred yards down the shore. The dock was perfect. The dirt road was a wonderful place to go walk in the mornings before heading out on the water. This is Michigan so of course there was some rain and the hangout set up in the garage was perfect! We could sit and watch the storm over the lake with the garage door up, staying perfectly dry and still feeling outdoors. If you’re planning to cook, the grill and appliances are in very good shape but you should make sure to bring any extra items you might want (tin foil, more spices, etc) The host was incredibly responsive and we are so grateful for an overall wonderful week on the water. There were also some really nice touches with s’more supplies being left, mosquito repellent (thank you!!!) and a few little kids books/ toys.
