大箱の従来型の温泉旅館、お風呂は露天風呂を服も数種類の浴槽を備え十分満足できるものだったが、料理が納得がいかない、あわび、和牛、フグと名前だけ高級食材を使えばよいというものではない、刺身の鮮度、肉の硬さ、鮑のハリといった食材の質の決めてとなる部分が全くない、設備もいわゆる高度成長期に建設された大規模旅館というファシリティで改装の余地は多くあると感じた 5万以上支払ったのでコストパフォーマンスは最悪でした

This hotel is convenient to go to Shoin Shrine on foot, although it is a steep climb from Shoin Shrine to the hotel. They have a shuttle from and to the station. They also provide baggage pick-up from the train station. The staff are very kind and friendly. Food is great.

萩は故郷でもあり、母校の同窓会を含めて何度か利用していた。 部屋から萩市内の眺望が抜群。 年齢と共に足腰の動きが悪くなったので、そのへんの配慮あると良い。段差を少なく、ベッドの部屋=洋間の数を増やす、など。 廊下が暗い。 食べ物は量、味ともにちょうど良い。

コロナ対策でしょうが、朝食は和食のみだったが洋食の選択肢もほしい、 夕食の接客はよかったが朝は、放置されてた感じだった女性の新人だったからかもしれないが、教育できていないのでは？

The staff and the bathing facilities were outstanding. My only problem was that I booked a Japanese style with city view and got a tiny western room with no view, opaque window no view. Language barrier didn’t allow me to sort it out. This may have an Expedia problem or misunderstanding at the time of booking who knows. This did spoil the stay a little, however everything else was excellent

가족과 함께하기 더할나위 없는 호텔식 온천료칸, 하기혼진
3성급이라 되어 있지만, 저에겐 5성급 이상의 경험을 선사한 호텔식 료칸입니다. 우선 환대하는 분위기와, 하기혼진이라는 이름에 걸맞게 하기 전체와 바다가 내려다 보이는 언덕에 위치하여 훤히 트인 시야, 친절한 서비스까지. 부모님과 부부, 아이까지 데리고 갔었는데 특히 온천은 2살 아기도 데려갈 수 있을만큼 쾌적하고 편리하였습니다. 노천탕에는 다양한 탕이 마련되어 있어서 즐거웠고 수질도 상당히 좋았습니다. 조식은 부페식, 석식은 식당에서 가이세키식으로 나오는데 조식은 큰 변화가 없었고, 석식은 매일 같은 코스 다른 메뉴 (재료) 가 나왔습니다. 조, 석식 포함에 호텔식 온천료칸에 이 정도 가격이면 상당히 만족합니다. 차로 30분 거리에 사파리랜드가 있는데 아이가 있다면 강추입니다. 정말 기대없이 갔다가 애보다 더 즐기고 왔네요. 야마구치 북쪽이나 하기에 가신다면 하기혼진 진심으로 추천합니다. 가족들 정말 즐겁게 놀고 왔네요.

スタッフの笑顔は素晴らしいですが、運営方法に少し難ありでは？
ホテルのスタッフの皆さんは一所懸命お仕事されていました。但しそれをオペレーションする管理側に少し課題があるのでは？宿泊した日はかなり空いていたようですが、何故隣もお客さんが入っている部屋に入れるのでしょう？音がするのも、させるのも嫌なものです。貸切風呂を別料金で夫婦で利用しましたが、入り口は蜘蛛の巣、中は水周りが悪いのか不快な匂い、価値は低いです。料理の出し方も、説明忘れや出す料理の間違い、遅い、お茶は中々出てこないなど、満面の笑顔は素晴らしいですが、その前にしっかりとしたオペレーションを学ぶべきと思います。
