“The house was amazing and the views were breathtaking. Plus it was very quiet and peaceful. Our daughter absolutely loved having the room at the top of the stair overlooking the sheep pasture. Got to watch the sheep dogs move the sheep and we got a chance to chat with the shepherd who was very friendly. Our host was wonderful and she always responded very quick to any of our questions. This is an absolute must accommodation if you are visiting the northern end of the Isle of Skye.”

“We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. ”

“We loved staying at Hughes Hideaway. Our favorite part was that there were little lambs/ sheep in the pasture next to the house for part of our stay. It also had really nice Mountain View’s as well as a little peekaboo sea view. The house was super clean and had everything we needed. “This poperty is away from the town center of Portree and isolated, which is a plus and a minus. It is on a small road with a private gate, there is a parking space. The views are great and it is nice to be able to hike down to the coast. The facilities are more than adequate and comfortable.
