So Relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our yearly mountain vacation in this home. The stream, fireplace and fire pit, and cows were our favorites! Beds were comfortable. We restocked the kitchen with much needed tools, which helped when making our Thanksgivingmeal.r.

Meadow Creek House Oct 27-Nov 1 2024

Annual trip to Hayesville to visit friends and experience the fall foliage. Love this home and location, while more than we needed it was great to have these lovely accommodations and our favorite space was the rear screened porch to listen to the creek and watch the sunrise with our coffee. We hope to return with our family or friends in the future as it’s perfect for that and so convenient to all the places we like to visit.

Beautiful house--very clean and lots of nice touches. Tons of beautiful outdoor space, including a screen-in porch. We came for a large family gathering and would definitely come back!

We enjoyed your home, especially the screened in porch, the creek and the cows out back! The location was nice for exploring Highlands, Dillsboro, Hayesville, Franklin and Sylva in NC and also Blue Ridge, GA. Dinner at the local brewery, Nocturnal, was very good! Although a bit of deep cleaning and updating would have made this stay perfect, we wouldn’t hesitate to return and we do thank you for your hospitality!

Slice of Heaven!

Our family had an amazing stay! The location of the house is in a beautiful and peaceful area. The stream running through the back yard was a favorite place to put in our feet, read a book, and unwind. We filled our week with trips to Helen and Ana Ruby Falls, tubing, Fires Creek, Bell Mountain, Cranes Creek Winery, and Chunky Gal Stables. The house was the perfect place to play games, cook, and play ball in the large front yard. Would love to come back!

Beautiful cabin & lovely hosts

This property is beautiful. We rented the main cabin as well as the attached one bedroom cabin. Check in was easy, we had to ask the host for a few things while on vaca and they were friendly, accommodating and quick to respond. The creek is stunning and so clean. We had everything we needed at the cabin and plenty of space. Highly suggest checking this cabin out.

Mountain Stream Get-away

Perfect location for our out-doorsy family only four miles from quiet and quaint Hayesville NC. Surprisingly great dining options in this small town including two breweries! The wrap around porch and babbling stream right behind the house make this house very special.

Mother’s Day Get Away

Our family and puppy enjoyed this property very much. The cabin has a little to offer for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked making it easy to cook for a group. We spent most of our time by the creek at the fire pit.

Peaceful Escape

My sister, our husbands, and I were so mesmerized by this lovely property. My husband and I lived near Hayesville, NC until last summer and were returning to attend the annual Clay County Tractor Parade. We’ve always loved the Tusquittee area and rode through it many times. When I saw the listing for this property, I knew it would be the perfect place. It was exactly as advertised. We never even turned on the tv. Each evening we sat around the fire pit just visiting and laughing at memories. The creek was so relaxing, we left our bedroom windows open so we could be lulled to sleep. Each morning we loved watching the mist rise on the pasture across the creek, revealing cows and newborn calves. We enjoyed the porches, we’ve always loved sitting outside in the mornings and evenings. We hope to return soon so we can visit friends who live in the area and enjoy the peaceful sights and sounds of the mountains.

Peaceful overload!

Not sure where to start but having a mountain view from the front porch and a Russian creek setting in the backyard caused this trip to start off with a 10. Very comfortable inside and everything you need to enjoy just a little cooking or cooking for a group because the kitchen Dining in living room or well, equipped, along with being bright and open . Screen porch on the back was a huge plus because the entire house has a wraparound porch and a section of the back was the screened in area. The only thing I would change would be to have a swinging bed or a regular swing on the back porch lol. Everything else was terrific, clean, scenic, and we will definitely be back. Thanks to our wonderful hosts. !!!

Our Home Away

This was our 4th visit to Meadow Creek and we grow fonder every year. The creek’s noise melts away stress and provides kids ages 2-12 a place to explore and tube. We love the Mountain Views, the town, and the daily visits from the Cows across the creek. It doesn’t get better than this place !
