The cleanliness in the room is deficient, it is not cleaned well, the shower has fungus on the walls, more cleaning is needed

We were expecting better
The room was cold throughout our whole stay even tho the heater was ON. The hotel is fine but already a bit worn, nothing special. For this price there are better options in the area. Location and staff were nice though.

Hermoso Hotel
El hotel si bien no esta tan cerca de los lugares mas turisticos, esta en un hermoso lugar, al ser invierno estaba todo congelado, vellosima vista. Pidan hora al sauna, es para quedarse el dia entero!!!

Buen hotel remodelado
El hotel es viejo, pero las habitaciones están remodeladas, de muy buen tamaño y espacio, y las vistas al mar son espectaculares, es desayuno, bastante variado y la hubicacion, está aprox a 1 km del centro a pie

Great place, great service
The hotel is very cool and comfortable. The architecture is somewhat eighties and the decor is modern and well kept. Service was awesome. So was breakfast. The only little detail is that it is noisy when rainy, because of some sort of tin gutter below every window. But all in all, a wonderful place to stay. Right next to the Hakaniemi pier, where ferries depart to go to the zoo; and lovely Hakaniemi market.

Nice hotel close to city center
The staff provide an efficient and friendly service. The room was clean and comfortable. Delicious meals in the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Regresaría feliz a Helsinki y al Strand
El hotel estuvo impecable. Todo limpio, buen servicio y en general el personal muy amable. Nos dieron dos habitaciones con una muy linda vista al canal. La ubicación es muy central (10 minutos caminando a la estación y la bahía ) y a la vez tranquila .

Well located but with so much road works around. The reception staff who did my check in wasn’t very welcoming but cold and not a smile. I stayed in the bar for work and no one came to ask me if I needed anything. I had to go to the bar to order a coffee and it looked like I really bothered them. Breakfast was alright. I will not be staying again, there are other hotels much more welcoming.

Accueil de haut niveau.
L'accueil fut formidable, que ce soit lors de notre arrivée ou durant le séjours. Le personnel a été vraiment au petit soin avec nous. Je fais souvent les Hilton à travers le monde pour des déplacements professionnels, celui de Helsinki Strand fait partie des meilleurs. Merci à toute l'équipe, notamment à la personne qui nous a fait le check in.

Well located for the centre of Helsinki, walkable if weather permits but it’s a three minute walk to Hakanemi Metro station if not. This metro station is two stops to Helsinki central railway station which is the centre point for most Helsinki landmarks, bars and shopping. The hotel itself - being a Hilton - boasts all the amenities one could reasonably want and the staff are friendly and helpful. Minor drawbacks: the buffet breakfast is served with cold plates and the single room is very small but these are trivial points.

Good hotel but too old, need renovation!!
Need renovations: TV is too old, no option to connect any Apps like YouTube etc, connect your own devices or other option. THE BREAKFAST quiet good and many options but too small space in the breakfast place and too dark. No sleepers or bathrobe in the room . In general is good located, very close to centre and transportation.

Kiva sisäänkirjautuminen kaikkine yllätyslahjoineen. Rauhallinen, siisti hotelli. Lapsi- ja lemmikkiystävällinen palvelu ja kiva henkilökunta. Aamupala super hyvä! Sänky oli omaan makuun todella kova.

Egentligen trevligt men nedgånget
Egentligen ett trevligt hotell med bastu och bra frukost. Har dock sett sina bästa dagar ett antal år sedan. Luftkonditioneringen funkar dock dåligt i många rum (ja. jag har bott här förr. Ligger nära kontoret). Första natten kom temperaturen inte ens ner till standardnivån. Sa till på morgonen och de skulle fixa. Kom tillbaka relativt sent på kvällen, samma sak igen, efter hela natten var det fortfarande varmare än satt standardnivå. Sa till vid utcheckningen. Personalen sa bara ojdå, men erbjöd ingen nämnvärd ursäkt eller visade att de brydde sig!
