Spacious and Cozy Home
Lila is a great host, as she communicated well and often to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Even better, this home comfortably provided 6 adults and a puppy an awesome accommodation during our Homer visit. The location is just minutes from the restaurants and the Spit. Thank you Lila for an amazing stay!

Blissful sleep, lovely home away from home in Homer
Our hostess Lila is a great communicator and welcoming hostess, offering to bring over games or kitchen gadgets, etc. We had everything we needed for our two night stay, but we appreciated the offer! The house has lovely light in the kitchen/dining/living area, with comfortable seating for lounging and relaxing. The 3 bedrooms had ample "blackout" shades and drapes and wonderful mattresses, for a very comfortable sleep. The place was very clean. If it hadn't been so stormy (rain and fierce wind) we could have easily walked to the Pioneer Avenue shops and restaurants, and even taken a bit longer walk to Fat Olive's and Bishop's Beach. As it was, we drove to those places and to the spit. Thanks Lila! I definitely would choose this house again, and reommend to friends.

Felt like home.
Wonderful views, clean well kept accommodations. Host reached out several times to ensure we didn’t need anything. This morning mama moose and two babies were right outside the back patio door. We had an amazing trip. Thanks so much!

Homer Stay
Owner put a lot of effort into providing literature about activities, trails, restaurants, tides, events, etc in the area. So very helpful. Responded quickly. House as pictured. Nice stay!

Awesome Place!
We enjoyed our stay. Was easy to find and keyless entery worked perfect. Everything was clean, the bedrooms were very comfy and everyone slept great after our busy days. The host checked to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Some good and some not so
Nice. Owner should make certain there are enough glassware for visitors. We only had two glasses for 4 people. We could not figure out the a/c heating thermostats. Something in the hall closet ran all day and night not sure why or what it is for. Lila was very helpful with restaurants in town. Few were open for indoor dining. Most for delivery? Very odd. TV was not easy use. When we finally got it to work all that was had to view was Netflix. But for some reason it was not the Netflix I am used to. Very odd as well. Plants, flowers trees,in the yard were most amazing and the highlight of The Who,e property.

Hi Debbie! Thank you for your review and for staying with us! I am so sorry you had some trouble with your stay. I know you visited for a wedding, but if you do ever return, please, please, please reach out to me while you are here because I absolutely am more than willing to help and bring you anything that you need! There are lots of glasses in the cabinet above the stove and the cabinet next to the sink - coffee mugs, wine glasses, pint glasses etc. The boiler closet runs in order to keep the house warm and keep the on-demand hot water ready. We do not have cable TV here; apologies, but the two flat screens do only have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus. As you probably saw, we also have a large assortment of DVDs. Apologies about the restaurants - the schedule has been weird in our small town this summer due to Covid. Thank you again so much for staying with us, Debbie! Take care!

This home is in the perfect location, and is equipped perfectly. I have stayed at many VRBO, and this was the most comfortable. The Host took care of all our needs.

An amazing trip

Wonderful stay
We stayed here two nights and had all good things to say about the property and the owners. It is in a quiet and pretty neighborhood, away from the busy touristy area, which made us feel like home. The house is beautiful from outside, surrounded with flower window boxes and baskets. The house inside is spacious and decorative, very artistic. We liked having separate bedrooms for each kid, plenty of space for storage, very nice washer and dryer. Lila is so wonderful! She gave us information for tours in Homer and was great in communicating with us during our stay. We couldn't be happier.

Wonderful property

Fishing buddies had a great time
Wonderful stay. Owners went out of their way to provide everything we needed! Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and hot showers after a day of rainy fishing fun we’re greatly appreciated. Good location with easy access. Will definitely recommend it to my friends. Hope to return again someday!

Great Place for Our Business Retreat
We had such a great time at this property for our business retreat. The back porch was lovely and all the beds comfortable. It was clean, in a lovely neighborhood, and just perfect for our needs. Will look for this property again when I need a place to stay in Homer.

Just what we needed
Needed a basecamp for a business visit in Homer. The property was exactly what I needed. Internet access was stable and fast. Having a full kitchen, etc made the trip much more comfortable and affordable as compared to a hotel.

Excellent stay
We are an extended family from Montana and Idaho participating a small wedding for another family member. One of our tasks was to bake the wedding cakes. It involved three different cakes and a full day of baking. The oven worked perfectly and the whole stay experience was enjoyable.

Great property with great owners
This was a trip with myself and 3 other guys going to Homer to fish. The home is exactly as described and such a great home. One thing to keep in mind, the beds were so comfortable you will not want to get out of them! The owner was so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Everything was so perfect we hated to leave but will definitely be back next year! I would recommend this home to everyone who is planning a trip to Homer.

This house has three good size bedrooms and two bathrooms. We are a big sized family. Mom and four kids. I liked that the master bedroom had its own bathroom. The living/dining area was very open and spacious. There is a deck from the master bedroom. The deck and the back yard get plenty of sunshine ad there was a firepit in the back yard. Kids made smores twice while we were there. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. It was easy to walk the dogs around. it's about a 15 min walk to bishops beach and to Save-U-More grocery store. We rented the house and there was plenty of room for my SUV and the small camper we brought as well. My kids really enjoyed themselves and we will be back! :)

Great family place!
This was a great place for our 4 adults and 2 small children. The refrigerator needed a good cleaning but everything else was great. We would definitely stay here again. Our grandkids loved all of the toys available to play with!

It was a good location and the house and yard were very nice
the property manager was very nice. We brought our 2 dogs and even though we checked with the owner and approved the dogs by email, the property manager didn't know. But they were very nice people.

Wonderful place to stay!
I took my parents and children to Homer for a long weekend and we stayed here. It was very comfortable and clean and so convenient. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking family meals (there’s a grill, too) and there was room out front to park our boat. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet- we all slept well. There were toys and games for the kids. The owners contacted us before we arrived to make sure we knew how to enter- AND shortly after arrival to make sure we were comfortable. It felt like home from the moment we arrived- we loved staying here and highly recommend it.

Plenty of room. Very quiet. Some minor maintenance issues- carpet replacement or cleaning; towel rack in bathroom needs reattached. We would stay again.
