Very dated, but clean.
A very dated motel in need of updates. On the plus side, accommodated our 3 adult, two children situation and was clean and served its purpose. Just don't expect anything that is remotely deluxe - a clean place to lay your head and nice people run it.

Bathroom needs work.
Bathroom Shower did not function and Tub stopper could not be closed. Mold on surround.

Over-priced for the level of amenities
Small and clean, but not much for the price. Rooms are simple, no ice-bucket or breakfast and the shower is only useful for very short people. The extra $15.00/day charge for a dog was a surprise.

Disappointed and dishonest people
We had a confirmed reservation for the August long weekend, which we booked 2 weeks prior. We showed up and they had resold our room to someone else, for probably triple the price. No other place in town was available, we had to travel 80 kms backwards to find something for the night. I felt more sad for the people in front of us with kids where the staff/owner had done the same. I would never book there again, they are dishonest and cheats.

our room was sold to someone else. we were told our credit card was declined and they left a message on my cell. neither were true.

Hotel stay
This was a Great place to stay. Myself and my three kids stayed here and enjoyed it. The Beds were very comfortable with good pillows as well. It was in a Quiet area so we were able to get a great sleep. The bath tubs could be replaced as they had some of the finishing coming off. If you are just showering it was no big deal. Overall the appearance of the room was fine. Keruig in the room for a quick coffee in the morning. The staff was quick and polite. I Would definitely stay here again if I was travelling through the area. Also For anyone playing Pokemon Go there is a Pokestop right outside, beside the parking lot.

Clean, old-fashioned motel, inexpensive.
This is a great small motel, nothing fancy, but very clean and very inexpensive. It was just what our bike riders needed for a hot-shower-and-wifi break from their biking/camping trek. Great diner right next door!!

Staying in Hope
Not too impressed with the outside lights shining through the curtains all night. Very hard to sleep. Very little sound proofing between rooms and very noisy plumbing.

Terrible value.
The hotel was very dated and overpriced. It looked like it had been furnished from garage sales and thrift stores - nothing matched, the blinds were bent, the curtains hung unevenly, the bathtub was stained. The bed smelled strongly of cheap perfume. The soundproofing was minimal.

We were headed en route to a convention and we needed to stay at a hotel. We stopped by Hope and booked the cheapest hotel that we can find. The room was alright. The owner was very polite with us and made us feel welcome. We went in to the hotel room and everything looked in good order. Wi-fi was good, room was good, but I wish that there were more plugins, and that they update their vertical blinds, because they were letting in light. Bath and shower worked alright. Liked the fact that restaurants were walking distace so we can grab something to eat. Checkout was smooth. Just put the keys into the box.

Friendly, basic unit - good value
When travelling we look for a place that's clean, convenient, inexpensive, basic BUT with wifi, fridge, microwave. This place fit the bill. Friendly welcoming staff at the reception desk was a plus.

Great hotel.
I have stayed here several times as the price is right and the location is convenient for my needs. This is an older motel but is very clean and well looked after. Maybe the furniture doesn't match, but the beds are very comfortable. The owner is a very nice, friendly man. Make sure you book ahead as the night I stayed there it was full and had to turn people away. I will be back.

Good enough for short stay
Conveniently located, this hotel is alright for a short stay on your travels. Somewhat pricey but like all the inns in this location, they rely on seasonal travel and one night stays to survive. Don't expect new, up-to-date type of rooms and you will be ok for a one night stay.

This is NOT a 3 star hotel!
This was the worst motel I've stayed at. It was dirty. The carpet didn't go to the edge of the wall. There weren't enough towels or coffees and the owner was rude(he yelled at my mother)when we asked for extras. We paid $96 and it wasn't worth $50. I've stayed at much nicer places for less.

We stayed for one night and had fun. The room was clean and the bed was comfy!

Could be a nice hotel, not so nice.
First impressions count. The room was ok. Upon arrival the owner/manager had processed our deposit via Visa, although it was only for holding the room(funds were processed the day before our arrival). Because the funds were declined the room reservation was cancelled, another room was assigned onsite with an increase of from $79. to $101. It seemed obvious that this was a deliberate act to increase rates.There were no other rooms in town available and we were rushing to a wedding so paid the condescending man and promised to never stay there again. Nothing could have made it pleasant after that.

Hotel for one night stay with reasonable room rate
When I made a reservation of the hotel, the hotel was not rated, and I hesitated to make a reservation. However, I decide to stay the hotel since it was only one night stay while we were moving. The room was rather clean considering the hotel was quite old. The hair dryer was out of order although you can borrow it from the office. The staff was very kind. It was the hotel for one night stay with cheap room rate. If you expect more, you'd better find other hotels with more expensive room rates.
