Fab place
Fab hotel, an honestly bar which was a great idea, and hot freshly cooked breakfast, a towel rail broke our first night but a mention to owner and it was fixed on our return, nice fridge in room and milk supplied was a lovely surprise and lovely for a coffee after our ling journey.

Basic but good value
Basic but good value for visiting friends, family or events in West Yorkshire, no (optional) breakfast available for my stay due to staff holidays and low guest numbers, but alternatives within a 15 minute walk.

Very good for the price
I was looking for an overnight stay near the National Coal Mining Museum for me and my 5 and 8 year olds. I was swayed by the price and location and my 8 year old liked the look of the pool table. For the price, I was really pleased and I think they could charge more. The pool was free. The beds were comfy, the linen wasn't tatty and the towels all matched. We'd stay again if we were in the area.
