We will be back!
We very much enjoyed the stay; Steven is great and the room we were in, while basic, was very clean and quiet. The location is really nice, nestled along a creek and hillsides. It is also very close to the center of Hudson with all the town offers. We plan on staying again!

cozy & clean
Nice and quiet, set back from road, very private. Small deck with hot tub, nice view of water. Comfortable bed. Small space-wise but fine for two of us and all the necessities (including full kitchen) for few days. Spotless. Restaurant was closed but not necessary due to great downtown area short drive away.

Cozy B&B, perfect for weekend getaway or more!
We had a wonderful time at Steven's, starting right away from his communicative check-ins. His cell number is clearly labeled at the property if you need help, but he also followed up our reservation with that number and clear instructions the day before. The room itself was also wonderful, with a big soft bed and a well stocked kitchen and bathroom, both full of towels and appliances. We had an amazing view over the rows of berries in the gardens at the property, which Steven also invited us to help ourselves to. The raspberry brownies we made after we got home really cemented how far our amazing time at this stay went! And taking a beautiful nap with a cat named Kitty while we left the door open for air and views through the screen door was really just the cherry on top. Located just a ten minute drive from Hudson, it was a great distance from all the activities we wanted to do that weekend. On Sundays, there is also a brunch buffet you can partake of, with juices made fresh, a hot food buffet, beautiful pies and cakes, a short order menu for breakfast staples made to order, and even more than I can list here. We truly couldn't recommend this stay more. We found this listing by chance, but the next time we come back will be one we look forward to for weeks!

Peaceful setting but very noisy above me.
I would agree with everyone else’s ratings, lovely hosts, clean, comfortable bed etc. However I was really looking for peace and quiet and I was in Room 3 and guessing tumble dryer and four legged pet directly above me with little sound baffling above the ceiling. From about 6:30 PM Sunday when I returned until about 9:30 PM and then starting again about 6:00 AM Monday I could hear every paw drop as pet ran back and forth (guessing chasing ball), and the regular thump thump thump of laundry in a front load machine sounding directly above me. Good value if you get in later and wake up and are out early. Not quite what I was looking for; I suppose ear plugs might have helped.

Great weekend getaway!
This unique and secluded property was great for a weekend stay! The owner met me upon check in and showed me to my room and told me if I needed anything to let him know. The location is only about a ten min drive from downtown Hudson. I spent a day hiking in New York and Massachusetts, as there is a lovely trail only 30 mins from the rental that leads to a beautiful waterfall. There are lots of quaint little towns in the area to explore and lots of shops and good places to eat and have drink. The rental was quiet at night and the hot tub was a nice treat to have to be able to use one evening. There is a very friendly cat named Kitty too, who will come into your room and demand loving if you leave your door open. I did not mind Kitty's nightly visits, but beware Kitty seemed to love room three, lol. Would enjoy coming back when the farm is in full force as I am sure that is just as nice as the rest of the property. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Not what we expected but fantastic host
The host was incredibly communicative and nice and understanding when we decided not to complete our stay. Very thankful for his help and accomodations. Our expectations were that this was an apartment but it was actually part of an inn. Hot tub is shared by inn guests. Kitchen is actually a kitchenette with mini fridge, hot plate, microwave. We had planned for use of an oven so this didn’t suit our needs. Space was small but clean and amenities like towels, sheets, soaps, coffee, spices, etc were all available. We almost pulled into the wrong location because the photo on the listing was of the neighbors across the creek, not the inn.

Th microwave is actually a combination Convection oven/microwave. We are sorry about Google maps. As many times as we get it corrected, it reverts back. We have a large sign at our entrance at the bottom of the hill, and now it is lit and easy to see. I'm glad you were able to enjoy at least one night with us. Steven

Steven was a wonderful host, easily accessible. The apartment was convenient to town. It was comfortable and clean with a nice kitchenette. We were a little thrown since the photo of the white home on the website is the next door neighbors.

Good overall
Property was basic but fairly priced and accurate to listing. The owner let us check in a lot earlier than listed check in time which was hugely appreciated. My biggest complaint would be that there is still no working hot tub which is one of the reasons I booked the place. I’m only mentioning it here b/c it appears they still have it advertised as having a working hot tub on VRBO website. Overall, would recommend!

I was delighted with my overnight stay here. The owner Steve is a lovely man, and very attentive to the little things. Fresh water & ice in the fridge, basic cooking supplies & equipment (although I didn't need them), bathroom heating unit, electric "fireplace," etc. Highly recommended.

Great Stay!
This is the perfect room where you're looking to be out and about in the area and just need a simple place to sleep. The room is exactly as pictured and was very clean and tidy. Very easy to get too, just a few minutes from Hudson.

A lovely place to visit.
Steven’s accommodating and generous nature, the pretty rural setting with flower and vegetable gardens, the property’s location near charming small towns, and a lake with an unspoiled beach nearby, all made for a very pleasant visit. Our one disappointment was that the jacuzzi was having problems and was not available for use.

Beautiful weekend getaway
Steven has a beautiful property and is an excellent host. The room we stayed in had all of the amenities we could have asked for for a weekend away. Just as advertised, there is a beautiful view of the creek nearby and a gorgeous garden filled with fresh fruit. It is a short drive to downtown Hudson, which is a great town especially for antique lovers. Definitely plan on returning at some point to Micosta Inn! Look forward to trying the locally sourced brunch if he starts it up again!

Located on a beautiful small farm with a friendly helpful host and staff, the room was clean and well-equipped, though a bit smaller than we expected. But it worked perfectly for us. Conveniently located near Hudson, but in a quiet semi-rural environment. Friendly kitty and pet goose added to the charm.

Pleasant Surprise
Husband and I booked a last minute (booked the night before!) trip here with our dog to do some day hiking and explore Hudson. Pleasantly surprised the VRBO was located on a fruit farm! Steven was an excellent and kind host. Place was very clean with attention to detail of what a guest may need. Hot tub was a welcome addition to a long day of hiking. Would love to come back here in the summer and explore the fruit farm and enjoy some delicious berries and tomatoes! A hidden gem.

Great getaway - pretty part of the state. Very relaxing.
The property was cozy, very clean, well equipped. Everything we needed. Nice having a Chromecast to put netflix and youtube on the TV. Easy trip into Hudson, lots of eating options and interesting shops to browse. Some great hiking opportunities and awesome views of the Catskills.

Warm, cozy and wonderful
A hidden unexpected delight. From the moment we met our host Steven, we knew we were in for a wonderful stay. He was so helpful and friendly and tended to our every need. Our room has everything we needed and was airy and clean. The kitchen had all the essential appliances and was fully equipped, the bed was very comfortable and the view from the window overlooked the beautiful rural farm setting. It was frigid weather and our room was toasty warm. The location was perfect for our weekend stay up in the Hudson area visiting our granddaughter. Minutes from town and good restaurants nearby. We have found our home away from home.
