Wonderful!

This home was everything you'd expect from a VRBO and so much more! Cozy and comfortable, but not at all crowded. (There were five of us plus three young children.) Perfectly clean. Everything in working order. Kitchen appliances were new. Two refrigerators (one in downstairs play room). No ridiculous check out procedure. BUT THE BEST PART OF ALL: the hosts were readily available and truly cared about making us feel welcome and cared for. Be aware that you won't be able to cook for a crowd here: the oven is very small (doesn't fit a standard baking sheet), and the propane stove doesn't have a very high flame. But that won't stop us form coming back. This was a great find. BBQ grill was large and worked perfectly.

Home away from home

It was a great property with lots of room for all 6 of us to hang out, as well as spread out and do our own thing. Very comfy beds and furniture. Cute and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Had a great birthday weekend and was very comfortable.

Spring Break retreat to the mountains

We loved our visit! Perfect time of year. The home is cozy, yet spacious enough to sneak into a quiet corner for a cup of tea and a good book. We took a beautiful hike on the Perimeter trail, then returned to soak aching muscles in the hot tub. The game room was a hit, for sure! We will definitely be back here!

Great President's Day Getaway!!

We head to Idyllwild every President's Day with another family, and everyone agreed this house has been the best so far! Ample seating for everyone, great game room in the garage for kids, and beautiful location. Owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Idyllwild Home

We loved the home and the setting. The house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us and it was beautiful. The property owner, Tawny, was awesome with communicating with us. I would highly recommend staying in this lovely home.

Lovely Getaway at the Mountaineer Lodge!

I have rented many properties for my annual women's weekend get away over the years and the Mountaineers Lodge ranks with the best! It is such a large and charming lodge for our party of 9. So very clean, well organized and comfortable beds with nice bedding in all of the rooms. We do a ton of cooking on these weekends and this kitchen did not disappoint. The hot tub was sparkling clean and functioned properly. Communication with the host was smooth.

Just what we needed!

We had the most incredible stay! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous, very clean and in a perfect location! The owner was incredible and made sure to answer and questions and the property manager was available to answer any and all questions we had! We will definitely be back!!

Everything we needed!

Before our trip even started the owner and manager reached out and made us feel welcome. The home was large and beautiful and very clean. There were many rooms and beds to accommodate everyone. Everybody enjoyed the game/family area in the garage which had a mini arcade game, darts, basketball, tv and pool table. We also sunk into the jacuzzi which was amazing and relaxing under the beautiful large trees. It was such a lovely surprise that it was already heated for us upon our arrival. The entire family enjoyed this home and loved it.

Family trip to the mountains

We had a fantastic stay! Just what we needed. The property management team was fantastic, and the local site property manager Carolyn was absolutely wonderful! We had a couple things we needed support with, and they were right there to help. The cabin is beautiful, warm, and gave us so much space to enjoy our time. Highly recommend!

Family Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our stay! We had 3 toddlers/infants and 4 adults. There was plenty of beds, bathrooms, and entertainment for all! We loved that the kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of linens/towels for everyone.

Everything you could hope for

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The property was huge, with plenty of room to wander around, change scenery and enjoy cozy evenings in. The 2 game rooms (one for adults with pool, darts and chess and one for kids with an arcade-style basketball game and Pac-Man game, plus plenty of toys for all ages) were such a pleasant surprise. The outdoor space was phenomenal with a sprawling wrap-around deck, tables and even a hot tub! The master bedroom has 2...yes 2...bathrooms.. And the bed was incredibly comfortable. The entire property was exceptionally clean and the host was very responsive and a great communicator. The property's size and amenities truly made us feel like we were at our own miniature resort in the mountains. You also can't beat the location...just minutes from town and the Idyllwild nature center. Highly recommended!
