The facility was great. Nice spa to relax in after a long day of hiking. The staff was personable and accommodating. The restaurant and bar were surprisingly good. Big city facility in a country setting. I would highly recommend

We stayed 2 nights at the House of Juniper and loved every second. The staff and owners were so welcoming and kind, and the house/grounds itself are beautiful. The room was gorgeous, with small attention to detail and style that made our stay that much more enjoyable. The restaurant had just opened when we stayed, and we agreed that the Sunday roast was one of the best that we have in the UK. The complimentary breakfast menu was also above and beyond what we were expecting, with fresh local ingredients on offer. We have already recommended House of Juniper to our friends and family, and will most definitely be back ourselves. 10/10!

Superb in every way. This boutique hotel is new, and the place is immaculate, with attention paid to details like robes, espresso machines, heated towel racks in the rooms and more. Views overlooking the water; most comfortable beds ever! We felt totally pampered! Spa includes steam room and sauna- and was exceptionally clean and inviting. Location is quiet and away from the fray of Portree yet has all the conveniences nearby. On site restaurant is excellent!! Breakfast was included in our stay, and was delicious, presented beautifully. They’ve anticipated details like having a rinse off outdoor shower and gear drying racks for muddy bikers and hikers. Can’t rave enough about this exceptional accommodation!

Despite the branding, this is not a luxury accommodation. I had to get a room last minute after another property cancelled. For the high nightly rate, there were a number of amenities that this property lacks. There is no shampoo or conditioner in the room, Only two pillows, no mini fridge, no daily housekeeping. These are all things that come standard even in budget hotels. At this price point, I would also expect a hot breakfast (not flavorless overnight oats and stale pre packaged pastries). There is coffee in the rooms but only a few mugs and spoons that you’ll need to reuse. This is a beautiful property and the staff were all very nice but it is terrible value and absolutely not luxurious.

So happy we made a last minute booking at House of Juniper! We stayed in a beautiful and spacious en suite with a sea view (not just a glimpse but an actual view of the nearby ocean complete with great window ventilation to enjoy the sea breeze). Broadford area was definitely sleepy/quiet compared to Portree but front desk had helpful recommendations and there was a great restaurant with local seafood directly across the street. Didn’t get to enjoy it myself but loved the takeaway bar on site at House of Jupiter as well. Spa/Sauna area was much appreciated after a long drive from Edinburgh, as well as the luxurious shower, cozy (electric) fireplace, and heavenly linens. Highly recommend!

Lacking in amenities…no phone, no closet, no Kleenex, no mirror other than bathroom mirror. Did not feel like the clerk on duty was friendly. Would not stay here again.

Très décevant
Très cher sans aucun service. La personne à la réception nous a donné la clé et nous n’avons plus vu personne, même lors de notre départ. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits le ménage n’a pas été fait. Le matin un panier était posé derrière notre porte avec 2 croissants 2 pommes et un jus de fruit.

The absolute worst experience ever!!! Something unexpected came up during our travels that delayed our arrival time by a few minutes and they did not accept to help us. They didn't accommodate us, left us out in the middle of the night in peak touristic season, and refused to grant a refund for a service they did not provide.

Spa like guest house.
Nice spa like hotel. No A/C or fan so the only negative was the rooster at 4 in the morning with our window open. Other than that, no complaints.

The property was very well appointed and new. The bed was the best we’ve slept in since leaving home. The spa area was beautiful and spotless. The staff were super helpful, friendly, and professional.

All vegan breakfast was mostly sugar. Healiest thing offered was yogurt, but it was covered in sugary jam. It made forbabhungry day for us until we got out of the area. Also, no dinner reservations available in the area unless you plan 2 weeks in advance. Plan a head!

Beautifully renovated hotel with updated rooms, bathrooms. Great stay after a long day of hiking on Skye. Didn’t get a chance to fully enjoy the spa however the sauna looked excellent. Very comfortable beds. Serene atmosphere with wonderful views. Would highly recommend!

We had the deluxe suite, which included free use of the spa facilities (sauna and steam room, with cold dunk and shower). The room, though up three flights of stairs, was lovely and spacious with a wonderful view and emperor bed. Breakfast each day was delivered to our door and very delicious and ample.

We loved our stay at House of Juniper very much! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the spa room was a perfect end to our long day of hiking. Check-in and check-out was painless, and the vegan breakfast included in the room cost was a lovely start to our day.

Fabulous location, with views from bedroom , we saw seals, dolphins. Room large and comfortable. Loved the steam room. Tracy (manageress)was lovely, friendly and very good at looking after us.
