Pulling up to this VRBO started our trip off terribly. The grass and weeds were 2 foot high. I have pictures. Walking into the house the floors were dirty. I dropped some ice in the kitchen, used paper towel to clean up and the floor was filthy. It took a while for the agent to return my call to have someone come out and clean the floors as well as fighting someone to cut the grass. The solution was that I had to pay the maid and the landscaper cash. I had to stay around the house so I was there to pay them. Was a big distraction for our schedule . Yes I was credited on my account. However, I managed the entire process and upkeep of this home. That should’ve been perfect for my family and grandchildren to stay. The bath towels were extremely limited as well as any towels for swimming no potholders for cooking no pan to use the oven and cook anything in the oven toilet paper few rolls, but I had to buy more to fill the house up. The swimming pool was a complete disappointment as the heater wasn’t working and the temperature was 68 that most of my family did not want to swim because it was too cold. I feel we’ve spent too much time communicating to try to get things working for us to enjoy this house in which we paid 6500 being that we had so many complications and disappointments. I’m asking for a 25% refund along with the 1100 given to pay Lawn people and the maid. I would appreciate a response as soon as possible so I know where I stand in this situation. Thank you!
