Excelente ubicación
Excelente opcion en Estambul, muy confortable. Staff muy amable, habitaciones muy comodas y limpias. Desayuno variado y abundante. Excelente ubicación cerca de todo.

NO es un hotel 4*
Es un hotel muy regular, muy lejos de ser un hotel 4*. Tiene a favor la ubicación y la disponibilidad de internet. El desayuno es aceptable, sin embargo siempre es lo mismo. En contra: el mal olor, especialmente en los baños, que a pesar de haber solicitado cambió de habitación , el problema persistió (habitación 305, 402, 405). En una habitación el lavamanos se inundaba y la vista por la ventana era una pared (305). En otra (402), la tina se inundaba, el soporte de la ducha estaba roto y la llave del lavamanos se desprendía. En la habitación 405 el inodoro queda dentro de la ducha. Habitaciones pequeñas, sin sillas (no caben). Las toallas son escasas y muy delgadas.

Its stated free parking it isn't. We have to park 2km away from the hotel. I booked for double bed which can fit 3pax and from the picture theres sofa bed .. but got twin bed instead with no sofa paid extra for nothing. Stated blacon with city view. But we get no balcon with full of wall blocking our window. And sound proofed stated?? But i can hear next door taking shower with their tv on! No water were given in the room.. must ask and they only give us a bottle of 500ml. That's it! The drinking glass is dirty never washed! The toilet smell of sewage. And when ask for things.. the grumpy old women will give you the looked. They said wifi password in the room.. which we can't find any. Checked in at 9pm.. and ask for late check out, not available..(disapointed) Breakfast was so simple.. nothing extra.. not even extra drinks. Not even juice or fresh milk for my 3years old son. Very sleazy hotel.

Jag bodde hos olika hotell i mitt liv men jag har aldrig bott hos sånt hotell.allt var jätte dålig.jag rekommenderar inte någon som kommer uppleva/få dålig känsla som jag. Drivaren var grinig, personaler ger dålig service.t.ex man vågar inte fråga ifall man får ett glas vatten p.g.a personalen blir griniga. Städningen var jätte dålig.ingen Bytte påslakan som var slitna,smutsiga. Man undrar faktiskt om drivaren är inte nöjda med sitt jobb, personalen är inte nöjda med sitt jobb varför ägaren tar in kunder från Expedia, varför personaler fortsätter jobba där. Man får känsla som om ingen jobbar där som vill se dig där på hotellet.

Wir waren für 10 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist top definitiv sehr zentral. Aber dass Hotel sehr schlecht. Zimmer sehr klein, unhygienisch, sehr hell hörig, Fenster gehen nicht zu. Bad ist ekelhaft. Ich würde es niemandem empfehlen.

Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Geweldig personeel, je kon er alles vragen en dan hielpen ze je ook als het kon. Jammer van het ontbijt, iedere morgen kreeg je een bord met hetzelfde, het was geen lopend buffet. En bij Expedie staat dat er balkons zijn, maar die zijn er niet, maar dat is niet hun fout, maar van Expedia

Close to Sofia, blue mosque , metro and cistern .
The hotel was below my expectations . Molds around the tub.Shower head leaking and were told that it will be repaired but never happened, TV didn't even worked. No telephone in room so you go down to desk to ask for toilet paper etc. staff 95 % of them didn't speak English. Food handling was unsanitary we ended up with GI problems. Wished Expedia see these places before you book your customers.

Et intimt og koselig, lite Hotel midt i Istanbuls historiske sentrum. 100m fra Basilica Sisterne, 200m fra Hagia Sophia, 400m fra den Blå Moske og 800m fra Grand Basar og Spice Marked. En personlig døgnservice som bare små familie eide hoteller kan oppvise.

Nice people but outdated hotel
While the hotel was in a great area, this hotel is outdated and needs help. I was there the end of October when the weather was cool. THe room they gave me had a draft. I complained that the heat was not working. The nice man at the front desk came to turn it on, but it never worked. At midnight I called the front desk, but no one answered so I put on every stich of clothing I owned. At 4 a.m. I went down to the front desk to wake up a man for a new room. He gave me a thin comforter and told me to check with the front desk in the morning. I did, and was given a room with a heater that eventually worked, but this was after trying about 6 rooms. The front desk people were nice, but when I asked for a refund, was told that I must contact the booking agency I used. THis hotel is in a great neighborhood, and has wonderful people, but if it is cold, I don't recommend staying here. The rooms are small and my rooms had a building backing up to them with no view at all.

The Best of Everything.
As a disabled man on holiday this hotel was perfect, The Basilica Cistern is a 30 second walk, The Hagia Sofya and the Topkapi Palace are across the road. The Blue Mosque is a 5 minute walk, you get the picture, everything is on the doorstep. The food in the Ares Hotel is excellent, try the Turkish and Ottoman menu, you will be pleasantly surprised, also the Turkish breakfast is first class. I was given help with everything. The Ares Hotel is not the biggest or the most famous but it's the hotel that I will go back to because it is friendly, central, good food and very helpful, why pay more. I am looking forward to my next visit to Istanbul and my stay in The Ares Hotel, Sultanahmet.

Amazing location, great staff
super nice staff. amazing location. good breakfast. beds were adequate but had stiff sheets and limited blanket. rooms are quite small, but if all your doing is sleeping it is adequate.

Great location
Very local to tourist spots. Many restaurants in area. Staff was great and tried their English skills. The room had not been swept well and the bed cover not clean but sheets were clean. Good breakfast. Over all the hotel was great and I would stay there again.

Perfect Location!
You can't find a better location than this for tourism. Literally steps from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Basillica Cistern. Short walk or tram ride (the T1 is right outside the door) to the Grand Bazzar, The Golden Bridge, and many ferry terminals. The staff are all friendly and go out of their way to take care of you. From the airport, you can take the M1a line to the T1 line and ride transit all the way to the hotel for 8 Lira.

Great service from a little great Hotel.
As soon as I arrived the staff delivered great service. They helped me with my bags and showed me around the hotel. They gave me information of the hotel, the neighborhood, and the city of Istanbul. The room was clean and spacious and they have restaurant on top of hotel with a breathtaking view of Istanbul. The stay was enjoyable and the staff was amazing.

Excellent central location
Hotel rooms and bathrooms very small but staff friendly and helpful. Excellent central location literally minutes from Blue Mosque, cistern, Ayasofia and Topkapi Palace. Also very close to transport, restaurants and park. Within easy walking distance of Grand and spice bazaars.

Hotellin sijainti on loistava. Ratikkapysäkki on aivan kulman takana, samoin upeimmat nähtävyydet Hagia Sofia ja Sininen moskeija, Topkapin palatsi ja muu vanha kaupunki. Ravintoloita ja ostospaikkoja on paljon. Huone oli pieni, mutta siisti. Hyvä sijainti moskeijoiden läheisyydessä tarkoitti myös sitä, että rukouskutsut raikasivat kovaäänisesti aamulla n. klo 5.20 ja illalla n. klo 22.20.

Super Ausgangspunkt für einen Städtetrip!
Das Hotel liegt mitten im touristischen Zentrum. Hagia Sophia und Blaue Moschee liegen direkt vor der Haustür. So konnten wir die eine oder andere Warteschlange vermeiden. Das Zimmer war eher klein, aber sauber. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man nur wenig von den darunter liegenden Restaurants. Das Hotelpersonal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit: Die Abendessenempfehlung war genau richtig. Und als es dann mal regnete, haben wir sogar den "privaten" Regenschirm geliehen bekommen. Das Frühstück ist übrigens typisch türkisch - mit Omelette auf Wunsch. Gestört hat uns, dass man auf dem Weg zum Hotel dauernd vom Personal der umliegenden Restaurants angequatscht wird.

タオル類が間に合わないから明日まで待たなければならないホテル
夕方チェックインして部屋に入ると、どこにもタオル類がなかった。リセプションに申し出たら、今予備が無いから明日渡すと言った。シャワーは勿論、顔も洗えずその日は寝ました。シャワーもお湯が１日目にでなかったのでとりあえず水浴びをし、その後問い合わせたら、どこかのスイッチを入れたのか、部屋に係りが来なかったのにお湯が出だした。どこかメインのスイッチがあってきっているのかもしれない。決して値段が安いホテルではなかったから、正直ありえないと思った。鍵もカード式だけど、なぜかオートロックで閉まらず、部屋の外に出てからカードをかざして３０秒待つとやっとカチッと閉まった。朝食も乾燥したトマト、きゅうりなど、食べるものがバケットしかなかった。
