We spent five nights at the Danis hotel. The hotel is pretty new, so everything is in very good shape. However, we did not have hot water for two days, and had to shower with cold water. Also breakfast could be improved, in my opinion, as the options were pretty limited. Overall it is a good hotel, but it needs to improve on some basic areas.

My family enjoyed the stay of this hotel. Clean rooms everyday. Please tip the housekeeping to express your gratitude.Polite staff but not friendly. Lobby not very big but it has outdoor space. Free cake and coffee in the afternoon time.Buffet breakfast was good but more options is needed. The quad room was two rooms adjoining with good space and nice bathrooms and comfy beds. Spa/pool/steam/room/hamman which could be rented out for €20 an hour. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Please lookout taxis. They will scam you in a heartbeat. Please get comfy shoes becuase most of the sites are wakable.

Good location, WiFi is excellent, staff are friendly, number of power sockets in room, nice clean property, daily room cleaning, my family had a good stay, nice marble flooring and tiles in bathroom, Grohe and Ideal S fixtures in bathroom, Spa is excellent, is private but to be booked in advance for a set time. Guest have to pay to use spa. Points to improve - hot breakfast should have more options. We were staying close to lifts, slightly noisy when a big group is talking

I booked Danis Hotel after seeing Expedia had rated the hotel as an "8.0". The site showed spotless images of clean rooms and public areas. On October 16, after 36-hour trips from SFO to IST, I got to the hotel. I was given a filthy room (images/video available) with a 20-inch jail-cell window that opened to 2 walls, 40 inches apart, with the loud sound of generators. The carpet looked filthy, the room smelt like an ammonia-filled garbage dump, and the towels looked like unwashed kitchen rags. The mold on the shower glass/walls was disgusting. After taking a few images, I returned to the front desk. Based on what I witnessed, it seemed the images on Expedia's site were either CGI-rendered or photoshopped. The manager got extremely upset and told me that if I didn't like it, I could leave. After a lengthy rant, he said that "this was a take-it-or-leave-it " and "Good luck finding a new hotel in this rain." Shocked, I returned to the room to remove my unpacked luggage and tried to take more images. I was angrily stopped. Luckily, I had taken some earlier. Calling Expedia for help, I was told repeatedly that their system was down. Using Google Translator and asking for help, I began looking for a new hotel. After $100 of "Gift" to those helping, I found a new hotel. The new hotel would take only US$, with a 4-night minimum. (receipt available). Sadly, I got sick the next day. I woke up with a terrible cough. Two days later, fearing I might get further ill, I left IST.

We want to file a complaint. Simply, we arrived at the hotel with a "CONFIMRED" booking and found that the hotel doesn't have this booking! As they said .. we did not confirm to Hotels.com these rooms!!! Result was a terrible night till we find another 2 rooms with a significantly higher price!!! Really a very unpleasant experience. BR

The cleaning it’s very bad, after check in I found hair around all the bed so I had to call them and manager came to change the sheets ( so disgusting) the guys in reception are rude and they don’t understand anything I told him to change the sheets or I will move to other hotel he said you can go ahead and move we will rent the room to someone else but the money it’s not refundable, I had to call every night after I come from Bussines metering to get clean towels because they always forget to replace them also the towels smell like a farm, the breakfast was good but the utensils all dirty so they had to wash them and bring them back I will never go back to that hotel

1st… we couldn’t even enter the area to get to the hotel. The roads are blocked until 9pm. We had to park far away and walk in to get proof of our reservation, then walk back to the car and fight with a guard to allow us in. 2nd no on street or free parking, no valet, and the price quoted for parking was far less then what they tried to charge when we arrived. Only parking is in a garage across the street. 3rd Spa is self serve only and pool is by appointment only in one hour time blocks…no poolside bar 4th we booked our reservation with Expedia online with a pay at hotel option… after all the struggles to even get to the building we didn’t want to fight more… but the price was double and in Euro. From $112 usd to 252€ their explanation was their person hasn’t updated the true prices on Expedia yet. 5th when we requested a manager, we were told that there was no one available … we were asked to pay and they could fix it later. It was never fixed… so we disputed charges with our credit card company. Photos helped. 6th rooms are not sound proof… we got to listen to everyone coming and going all night long as well as the family drama in the next room. 7th room was in decent condition, but the carpets were stained and dirty.

I’ve only stayed one night in this hotel since I moved in i got different room then the one i saw in the picture and the room was smiling like someone was smoking inside and when i opened the window there was a cat dead right in front of the window, i didn’t even sleep that night and i checked out in. The next day and i already informed Expedia, i paid almost $600 for 5 nights stay and i only stayed one night and you guys did nothing about, I’ll never flay or stay from your app again

Good facilties. Good wifi. Good customer service. Fantastic location. A bit noisy at night due to restaurants and late bars Breakfast is poor. Too many cheeses. Too many olives. Too much bread. Fruit but not cut and pealed into a fruit salad Eggs boiled or scrambled. That is it. No yoghurt. No pasteries. No baklawa. Can easily be improved on.

Staff was quite helpful. Lunch was OK however cantine was a bit small. The only thing that was quite bad was the water quality in the bathroom. I could smell chlore from water and even from towels that we got. I stayed one more week at another hotel in Taksim. This hotel's water was really clean. I leaved 1 week at the 6-th floor. It was the highest floor of the hotel, however I had no view because of metal between 5-th and 6-th floors. I recommend to stay at 5-th or 4-th floor. Location of hotel is not so bad. Neer to metro station Vezneciler. Hotel is located just 3 stops away from Hagia Sofia or Sultanahmet.
