Beautiful villa, but major issues and poor communication
I stayed at this villa from March 19–23 to celebrate my birthday. While the property itself is beautiful, our experience was overshadowed by several issues that significantly affected our stay.When we arrived, the trash was full and overflowing, and it wasn’t picked up until the next day. Soon after, we discovered the refrigerator wasn’t working—right after we spent 400 on groceries. It wasn’t repaired until the following afternoon, by which point all our food had spoiled. This disrupted our plans and delayed my birthday celebration.Additionally, the hot water and Wi-Fi both stopped working on separate occasions for two days. Some of the lights also went out, as they were connected to the same fuse. These outages made it difficult to shower, communicate, or even relax comfortably in the home.Throughout all of this, I was in constant contact with the house manager, who repeatedly downplayed the severity of the issues and belittled our concerns. Despite promising to speak with the owner, she never followed up. I had to reach out to the owner myself. While he did issue a 300 refund toward the spoiled groceries, no further compensation was offered for the other major disruptions.This villa has potential, but the lack of upkeep, poor communication, and lack of accountability made for a very disappointing stay. I hope future guests have a better experience and that management takes these concerns more seriously.
