We spent 2 nights in Nevis and really enjoyed our time there. The Four Seasons is a lovely property, however a bit dated for the price. The pools could use a bit of a modern upgrade and the revolving dates on the restaurants was a bit disappointing as we weren't able to try all the dining options because not everything was open (we were there over a weekend too). The people are delightful, the beach is spectacular and the snorkeling was great. We definitely recommend staying there is you are to visit Nevis.

The Four Seasons Nevis is an absolutely beautiful property. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the food is excellent. The staff are friendly and so helpful. We are definitely going back to stay longer!

Beautiful resort on a lovely gem of an island. Mount Nevis is gorgeous and makes a beautiful backdrop. Quality of food onsite was hit/miss, but that is usually the case for most resorts. Staff was overall wonderful and gracious, although they could have done a better job coordinating/communicating onsite activities so that guests could have enjoyed the offerings better. We had a fantastic time and would return to FS Nevis again.

Our stay was perfect. The resort was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating. We traveled with two toddlers and the extra kid amenities in our room including a step stool, diaper pale, soaps, etc were so helpful. The property has a lot of offer for families.

We liked the remote and calm nature of the resort. We did not like the Ocean pool (algae problem) or the unexpected transportation fee $340) to/from the resort.

Nevis itself is beautiful and relatively unspoiled. We snorkeled, golfed, beach swam and took the Funky Monkey tour. The staff at the Four Seasons is top notch and friendly. The room was nice and the housekeeping staff were perfect. The food was excellent but felt a bit overpriced. There was a corporate outing at the hotel and the only problem with it is that they close some pools and restaurants to other visitors while the corporate groups have them. The golf course is gorgeous and well laid out but too dry and needs water. The hotel could do a better job of arranging outings for the guests. I kind of felt like they try to keep you on premises too hard — we wanted an island tour and had to find and book our own. We wanted to go on a catamaran and they could not arrange. We didn’t see any excursions to anywhere. Snorkeling was on the hotel taxi boat and not a real snorkeling expert. Overall it is good enough for the relative remoteness but there Is room for improvement.

The hotel staff was very friendly! The property is becoming a bit dated but very clean. We do wish there were more hotel activities to choose from. We often felt ourselves with nothing to do in the afternoon because the evening music didn’t start until 9 or later. Yoga on the beach or early afternoon entertainment would have been. Ice for those of us who rise early and go to bed early.

Be prepared to charter (for convenience) the hotel's service to and from the property from St. Kitts for an additional $340 per couple. If you are looking at the Four Seasons in Nevis, you can't be concerned about budgets. If you want to be budget conscious, look elsewhere. Initially, it's hard to transition from the business world of budgets/costs to the resort. Expect to pay $100 for a casual meal. Things aren't any better off the resort at nice restaurants. The staff is wonderful. We casually mentioned it would be nice to have chairs facing the peak on the entrance to the room...breeze was good there...and next thing you know....chairs appeared. Be prepared to drop bills all over for tips. (The nice thing to do.) The locals appreciate the hospitality in reverse and they are nice. Tourism is their revenue. The resort offers transportation throughout the island, not too many rental car services (they aren't necessary.) My wife and I do not play golf, but the golf "tour" of the course was wonderful. The General Manager greeted us at the dock, and is visible throughout the stay. First class all the way. Monkeys entertained us. The resort waters are tranquil and clear. Golf and tennis are great because the winds are calmer on this side of the island. The views are beautiful...everywhere you look. Weather was always wonderful. I'd go again there in a heartbeat. We didn't visit St. Kitts, the Four Seasons was wonderful. Don't expect crowds here and the place is beautiful.

Always in season for beauty and comfort here
For much of the stay, the resort was quite empty, with more staff than guests, but allowed a level of personal service and serenity uncommon. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The food is good, but so expensive! And things like exercise classes for $75 or massage for $300 seem high, even for 4 Seasons. The beach, the pools, the grounds are all terrific, and the one night when we had entertainment, it was beyond amazing, with a singer with the best voice I have ever witnessed live. We very much enjoyed our stay there as a couple, and would consider returning, possibly with a large family trip.

The hospitality at Four Seasons Nevis was outstanding. The staff was super friendly, super accommodating and had attitudes of service, made me feel, as a guest, like they wanted me to be there and make my experience wonderfulc which it was. The actual hotel was beautiful, yes, they’re under going construction, but so is my street and town, but there is t a beautiful beach, sun and a warm breeze and Nevis peak to admire on my street. We stayed in a renovated room and it was very generous with space and view. We are already planning our return to this special little island, Nevis and staying at the Four Season’s there.

Didn't receive what I paid for!
This is not a "four seasons" service nor quality. The room was filthy. The pool in the bacck of the yark was dirty and took them 3 days to come and clean. I feel ripped off paying over $2000 per night for a luxury villa which was full of dust and dirt. I asked for coffee the first day and it took 3 phone calls and 3 hours. Poolside and beach service was ok or terrible. Many of the staff was very friendly and the rest had bad attitudes. I would not recommend this location to anyone and I honestly would not go back even if they offered the same room for free! This is an insult to four seasons. You guys should seriously consider removing your name off this hotel. Not acceptable! I will look at reviews and be a lot more hesitant staying at a four seasons in the future. Very unexpected and sad.

Amazing
We renewed our vows for our 30th wedding anniversary and it was the most amazing experience. Every single person was amazing specially our event planner Jermaine. Everything went smoothly from the day we arrived until the day we left. We loved it so much we hope to return someday. We have traveled all our lives and stayed in many places but no one beats “The Four Seasons Resort”. So far we have been to the one in Costa Rica where my son had his wedding and this one in Nevis. Great job!!! Four Seasons.

Everything Great except the Food
Beautiful environment, very friendly staff, clean hotel, but the quality of the food in their restaurants was just ok and very expensive for what was provided.

Peaceful Break from Work & Winter
This is our second visit to The Four Seasons in Nevis. We stayed in this oasis of calm for two blissful weeks. Idyllic location, excellent food, and attentive service: perfect !

We enjoyed every minute here.
This is a beautiful property, lushly landscaped and maintained with care. Our ocean-view room was large and comfortable. Loved the beach, as well as the first-rate service offered there. Frequent offers of ice water (plain or flavored), fruit, sweets, even a mini-pina colada. Breakfasts and lunches are very good, lots of fresh fruit and tasty sauces. Be sure to take the golf course tour. You can even learn how to play dominoes at a complimentary workshop! Try the rum tasting at the Mango bar one evening.

Can’t say enough about the service and the beautiful island. All a 10, but the condition of the Four Season hotel is not up to par. Very disappointed in the co condition. Tired and dated. Needs updating.

Fantastic Getaway
We went for all of Thanksgiving week, and had an awesome, relaxing time. We didn't even get restless 4 days in. The people on Nevis, and the service at this hotel in particular are over the top amazing. I highly recommend the property for a quick getaway or even a longer stay. The real winner is the staff! Beyond gracious, and anticipated our every need. From the pool staff to the concierge, everyone was amazingly friendly and helpful. Guests were hugging staff every day before departing. I have never seen that before! We're not so fussed about the Caribbean in general, but honestly the best service at a resort like this we have ever had, including 5 star properties in Asia. This is one I would definitely return to! Breakfast is good. Ordering off the menu (jerk chicken & waffles) was better than the buffet. Pool food was delicious. Fish tacos and the Castaway sushi roll were favorites for lunch. The adults only pool is far away from everything (in a good way), and practically deserted. Never heard a kid!. There are 2 beach bar/restaurants a 5 minute walk down the beach... Sunshine's and Turtle Time. Check them out. Bananas was our favorite dinner restaurant, though if you love Indian food, Indian Summer is a must. Absolutely delicious. We never ate dinner at the resort. The concierge took care of all reservations, and a taxi was waiting every night. So easy to leave and come back!

A beautiful hotel with some caveats
Okay, it's The Four Seasons, so you can expect it to be expensive. Booking through Expedia saved money, for sure. However, you should be aware that the tax alone is 12% (our tax upon check out after one week amounted to $1200). In addition, they have an 18% "service charge," which left a bad taste in my mouth. As if that were not enough, there is a space on the check (at dinner, at the spa, at the beach, etc.) for an "additional tip." Considering that the person who brought the check is standing right there waiting for you to sign, it's a bit hard to not add any. I want to decide my own tip amount, thank you. And I learned that the 18% is split among everyone, so someone I have never seen benefits each time. I didn't like that. When I am attempting to relax on the beach, I appreciate peace and quiet. More often than not I had that, however, several days I was approached by a staff member about every 15 minutes to see if I needed anything. That was too much. There was also a guest service person who felt compelled to join us on the beach and relate her life story when I would have rather rested; that was why I was on vacation. Just because I am friendly, it doesn't mean I want to spend excessive time visiting with you. It's a beautiful property on the beach, is clean, has good food, and a really nice staff. Be prepared for everything to be more expensive than you would think.
